    Hi, I have an requirement that, in my application on clicking an button i have to laod one more application with the same template which i was using for my application. So, on clicking the button in my application i have used one intermediate page in that using iframe i passed that URL of an external application. Its working fine. But the problem is in the external applicatio which is not in my control on clicking an button it is moving to next page. In that page i want to hide an button. I did that also using div tag color as white and set the positions. But the problem is in all the pages in the same position that is affecting. So i want to get the url of the page which is loading in the iframe on the second or third click of an external application, so that i can using some conditions i can hide the control. So please any one help me to get the solution for this problem

  • Is it possible to talk to the iPhone simulator/device.

    I need to automate the build/deploy process for my iphone applications from a script. I can use xcodebuild to build the project, then use Applescript to deploy and debug/run the application. Assuming the application will stop by itself after a while, I need to collect the generated logs for verification. But the problem is I have no way to know when the application ended from outside of the application itself. If the running time is fixed, I can again use Applescript to stop the application (Cmd+Shift+Enter). So there has to be a way to connect to the device/simulator and wait on the application somehow.

    Good morning - I'm an intermediate-level developer who wants to build on online data-driven app (CRUD with a few calculations and basic HTML form inputs, nothing fancy) that keeps track of user sessions, and looks "professional" (or at least not "homemade"). I'm looking to development something with the look-and-feel that users get from sites like: http://www.datamasher.org/ http://www.thisweknow.org/ (About page says it was made with Ruby on Rails, which I'm unfamiliar with) (stackoverflow.com) Any pointers on whether I should just go the Miscrosoft route, and develop in ASP.net with WebForms, or if there's a quick qay to do this kind of development (with a WYSIWYG environment) on an open-source platform? I'm willing to learn, if it's somethat I can use to quickly drag/drop, add code, and publish online. Templates would be a plus, too. I apologize is the question seems a bit vague.

  • Write a serverside c++/openGL App, that is accessible via JavaScript

    Hi, I am currently having an idea where I want to save an image from a c++/openGL application on demand from a browser. So basically I would like to run the application itself on the server and have a simple communication layer like this: JS - tell application to do calculations (and maybe pass a string or some simple data) application - tell JS when finished and maybe send a link, text or something as simple as that. I don't really have alot of experience with webservers and as such don't know if that is possible at all (it's just my naive thinking). And note: I am not talking about a webGL application, I just want to have simple communication between a c++ serverside application, and the user. Any ideas how to do that? Thanks alot!

One approach that I can think of, without modifying the entity is via "auditing" all the inserts/updates, as below, the rollback information captures the data just before the updates/modifications on the entity, so that it can be applied in an order when you need to revert.Please note that changing the entity's schema, is not an option.     Ok Ive figured out how to do a screen capture of my desktop using Windows Media Encoder 9 + SDK and saving it as a movie on my hardrive. But now I want to take my project further and stream a realtime screen capture of my desktop . The idea is that users accessing my asp.net website will be able to view whatever Im doing on my desktop in real time via the video streaming from my computer. I really dont need the source code just the best strategy, procedure and server requirements.How will users access the streaming video on my website? Will it work on my godaddy shared hosting account or at what point will I need an upgrade? Will I be saving the stream to a file on the server for users to access or is there a way to stream directly ? I just need someone to point me in the right direction...

    Hey all, Does anyone have any ideas on what could be used as a way to filter untrustworthy user submitted content? Take Yelp for instance, they would need to prevent competitors writing business reviews on their competitors. They would need to prevent business owners favourably reviewing their own business, or forcing friends/family to do so. They would need to prevent poor quality reviews from affecting a businesses rating and so on. I can't think what they might use to do this: Prevent multiple users from the same IP reviewing certain things Prevent business owners reviewing their own business (maybe even other businesses in the same categories as their own?) Somehow determine what a review is about and what the actual intentions behind it are Other than the first and second points, I can't think of any clever/easy way to filter potentially harmful reviews from being made available, other than a human doing it. Obviously for a site the size of Yelp this wouldn't be feasible, so what parameters could they take into consideration? Even with human intervention, how would anyone know it was the owners best buddy writing a fake review without knowing the people? I'm using this as an example in a larger study on the subject of filtering user content automatically. Does anyone have any ideas how these systems may work and what they take into consideration?     I want to reload just my web layer classes without reloading my service layer classes (which take longer to initialize and change less frequently). There are no references from my service layer into the web layer and I can create a whole new instance of the web layer without problems. I can conceive of a solution involving complicated class-loader tricks to isolate the web layer in its own class-loader and I think this is probably the only way to do this so what I'm asking is, is there a library out there which does this? I know about JavaRebel - I don't need that much power and I'm really looking for a more lightweight free solution.

    I have need to call a webservice from an HTML helper extension I created (combinbation of Action and Image) and placed in the view as follows @Html.ActionImage("CallService", new { number = ViewBag.number, code = ViewBag.code, account = ViewBag.account, amount = ViewBag.amount }, "~/Content/sb_200x61.png", "Start the Process") I am making the action call and it calls the service and returns a string of the html response, but it doesn't look right. I am using the typical HttpWebRequest to do the POST Action in C# code. Here is the controller action code: public MvcHtmlString CallService(string number, string code, string account, decimal? amount) { string response = MyService.ServiceLayer.ClassName.callService(number, code, account, Convert.ToDecimal(amount); MvcHtmlString mstring = new MvcHtmlString(response); return mstring; } When it returns the string back it's looking like the all styling and js is removed. It that due to MvcHtmlString? Is there a better way to do this? Redirect somehow ?
