  • WPF TreeView similar to Organizational chart with connecting lines

    I have modified my treeview to look like an Org chart using the example shown in the Code Project website (Author Josh Smith). I need connecting lines in the treeview to make it look exact to org chart. I found references pointing to the below site http://wpfblog.info/2008/05/26/turning-a-treeview-into-an-org-chart-with-connectors/ But I am not able to view the content. Probably the webpage has been moved. Can anybody help?

    I use ToolBar for my WPF application. As I understand, there is no easy way to make it floating. I just want to remove elements which I don't want to be displayed: several dots in the left side, and a pointer (arrow) in right side of ToolBar. Is there any Properties to customize view of ToolBar? Or, maybe, it's possible to redefine a ToolBar Template?

  • iPhone UIButton addTarget:action:forControlEvents: not working

    I see there are similar problems posted here, but none of the solutions work for me. Here goes: I have a UIButton instance inside a UIView frame, which is positioned within another UIView frame, which is positioned in the main window UIView. To wit: UIWindow --> UIView (searchView) --> UISearchBar (findField) --> UIView (prevButtonView) --> UIButton (prevButton) --> UIView (nextButtonView) --> UIButton (nextButton) So far, so good: everything is laid out as I want it. However, the buttons aren't accepting user input of any kind. I am using the UIButton method addTarget:action:forControlEvents: and to give you an idea of what I'm doing, here's my code for nextButton: nextButton = [UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeCustom]; [nextButton setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"find_next_on.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; [nextButton setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"find_next_off.png"] forState:UIControlStateDisabled]; [nextButton setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"find_next_off.png"] forState:UIControlStateHighlighted]; [nextButton addTarget:self action:@selector(nextResult:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; The method nextResult: never gets called, the state of the button doesn't change on touching, and there's not a damned thing I've been able to do to get it working. I assume that there's an issue with all these layers of views: maybe something is sitting on top of my button, but I'm not sure what it could be.     I have a set of IIS7-hosted net.tcp WCF services that serve my ASP.NET MVC web application. The web application is accessed over the internet. WCF Services (IIS7) <--> ASP.NET MVC Application <--> Client Browser The services are username authenticated, the account that a client (of my web application) uses to logon ends up as the current principal on the host. I want one of the services to be authenticated differently, because it serves the view model for my logon view. When it's called, the client is obviously not logged on yet. I figure Windows authentication serves best or perhaps just certificate based security (which in fact I should use for the authenticated services as well) if the services are hosted on a machine that is not in the same domain as the web application. That's not the point here though. Using multiple TCP bindings is what's giving me trouble. I tried setting it up like this: <bindings> <netTcpBinding> <binding> <security mode="TransportWithMessageCredential"> <message clientCredentialType="UserName"/> </security> </binding> <binding name="public"> <security mode="Transport"> <message clientCredentialType="Windows"/> </security> </binding> </netTcpBinding> </bindings> The thing is that both bindings don't seem to want live together in my host. When I remove either of them, all's fine but together they produce the following exception on the client: The requested upgrade is not supported by 'net.tcp://localhost:8081/Service2.svc'. This could be due to mismatched bindings (for example security enabled on the client and not on the server). In the server trace log, I find the following exception: Protocol Type application/negotiate was sent to a service that does not support that type of upgrade. Am I looking into the right direction or is there a better way to solve this?

I need to know the exact translation of View Touch coordinates into my opengl world and grid cell. Are there any helpers to do the reverse of last few transforms which I do for navigation ? or I should calculate and do the matrix stuff by hand ?

    Hi all, Im writing an app that has a navigation controller as it's main menu system but I need to be able to have a UITabBar appear inside the navigation controller when the user clicks one of the buttons on the main view. I have written everything programmatically so far so would like to keep it that way if possible. So basically, how do I show a UITabBar inside the a navigation controller programmatically?     I am trying to view the dependencies of my website on IIS 6.0 running on windows server 2003. When I type the following command, msdeploy -verb:getDependencies -source:metakey=lm/w3svc/1 I got the following error: C:\Program Files\IIS\Microsoft Web Deploy>msdeploy -verb:getDependencies -source :metakey=lm/w3svc/1 Error: Object of type 'metaKey' and path 'lm/w3svc/1' cannot be created Error: The metabase key '/lm/w3svc/1' could not be found. Error: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) Error count: 1 Can any one explain these to me?
