  • How to run Red5 applications on a remote server?

    I've got a really nasty problem... I wrote a Red5 app and so on and it is running perfectly on my local computer. Now the problem occurs = How can I make this program work on a remote server? Local : Mac OS X 10.5 - Red5 0.63 Server: CentOS 5 - Red5 0.90 Maybe it's because of the version difference. But I can't test Red5 0.90 locally because it won't start up and I can't install the 0.63 version on the server because of missing dependencies (and broken links to them...)

  • IE6 turns jar into zip

    Using windows server, I have a path to a file that, when you click the button, executes the jar file and runs the program. At least in firefox. The problem occurs with IE6. It takes my file.jar and turns it into file.zip. Any suggestions here?

  • breakpoint inside QComboBox subclass not working

    I have subclassed QComboBox to customize it for special needs. The subclass is used to promote QComboBoxes in a ui file from QtDesigner. Everything works except that when I put a break point in a slot, the program does not stop at the breakpoint. I do however know that it is being called from the result it generates. I checked other slots in my program and they work fine with breakpoints. Doing a clean and rebuild all did not fix it. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do about it? The slot in question is the only one in the subclass and is called "do_indexChanged()". You can find the slot on line 37 of the class header below and the signal-slot connection on line 10 of the class source file.   • Remove first and last characters from a string in Lisp

    I am passing in command line arguments to my Lisp program and they are formatted like this when they hit my main function: ("1 1 1" "dot" "2 2 2") I have a dot function and would like to call it directly from the argument, but first I must strip the " characters. I tried variations of this function: (defun remove-quotes (s) (setf (aref s 0) '"")) to no avail, Lisp complains that "" is not a member of base-char. Thanks!

    I have a small script, which is called daily by crontab using the following command: /homedir/MyScript &> some_log.log The problem with this method is that some_log.log is only created after MyScript finishes. I would like to flush the output of the program into the file while it's running so I could do things like tail -f some_log.log and keep track of the progress, etc.

    Say I am using an Identity Matrix for my modelViewTransformation Matrix on an Open GL ES2.0 program. The Co-ordinate system in this case is the canonical opengl co-ordinate system which extends from (-1,-1,-1) to (1,,1,1). My question is, is this coordinate system right-handed or left-handed? A broader question: Is there a document with OpenGL which can list all the mathematical conventions followed by the API?

    Note, my question is not: how do I tell my compiler to compile with profiling on. I want to profile my compiles process. For each file, I'd like to know how much time is spent on each line of the program. I'm working on a project, some files have huge compile times, I'm trying to figure out why.   • How many times can you randomly generate a GUID before you risk duplicates? (.NET)

    Mathematically I suppose it's possible that even two random GUIDs generated using the built in method in the .NET framework are identical, but roughly how likely are they to clash if you generate hundreds or thousands? If you generated one for every copy of Windows in the world, would they clash? The reason I ask is because I have a program that creates a lot of objects, and destroys some too, and I am wondering about the likelihood of any of those objects (including the destroyed ones) having identical GUIDs.

    Does anyone know how to change the subnet mask and the DHCP enabled flag on Windows XP / Vista / 7 from a C++ program? The Windows API has a GetAdaptersInfo() routine which will give you that information, but I need the counterpart SetAdaptersInfo() which doesn't seem to exist. I've looked all over MSDN and the web and don't see how to do it on newer-than-Windows-NT machines. Any information is greatly appreciated.
