  • Registry Problem

    I made a launcher for my game server. (World of Warcraft) I want to get the installpath of the game, browsed by the user. For example, your wow.exe is in C:\ASD\wow.exe, your select it with the browse windows, then the program should store it in the Existence registry key as C:\ASD\Data\ but it stores like this: C:\ASDData , so it forgots a backslash :S Look at this picture: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/2829/regedita.jpg My program works cool on my PC, and on my friends pc, but on some pc this "bug" comes out :S I have windows 7, with .NEt 3.5 Please help me.

  • c++ g++ llvm-clang compiler profiling

    Note, my question is not: how do I tell my compiler to compile with profiling on. I want to profile my compiles process. For each file, I'd like to know how much time is spent on each line of the program. I'm working on a project, some files have huge compile times, I'm trying to figure out why. Is there anyway to do this with g++ or llvm-clang? Thanks!

  • Mimic Windows' 'Run' window in .NET

    I would like to mimic the Run command in Windows in my program. In other words, I would like to give the user the ability to "run" an arbitrary piece of text exactly as would happen if they typed it into the run box. While System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() gets me close, I can't seem to get certain things like environment variables such as %AppData% working. I just keep getting the message "Windows cannot find '%AppData%'..."

What I'm trying to do is create a script that will: a) authenticate me with the program b) upload an image to a specific album All of this entirely from the command line and completely with the new Graph API. My problem right now is trying to locate the documentation that will allow me to get a token without a pop-up window of sorts. Thoughts?

    I'm trying to execute MS-DOS DEL commands inside a Win32 C program, and I already know that system and popen can be used for this. However, the problem is that both require string literals (type const char) for the commands, and I need something like the DOS equivalent of dir ~ | grep -P '/\d{7,8}\.exe$/' | rm, which obviously can't use string literals. Is there some other subprocess function in C that allows for char arrays as arguments for process names?

The Co-ordinate system in this case is the canonical opengl co-ordinate system which extends from (-1,-1,-1) to (1,,1,1). My question is, is this coordinate system right-handed or left-handed?     Does anyone know how to change the subnet mask and the DHCP enabled flag on Windows XP / Vista / 7 from a C++ program? The Windows API has a GetAdaptersInfo() routine which will give you that information, but I need the counterpart SetAdaptersInfo() which doesn't seem to exist. I've looked all over MSDN and the web and don't see how to do it on newer-than-Windows-NT machines. Any information is greatly appreciated.
