Do you know a js library that implements a generic Iterator class for collections (be it Arrays or some abstract Enumerable) with a full set of features, like the Google Common or the Apache Commons?
I have setup my models and now I would like to build the application so that I can easly switch between swing views and html views (2 differents builds).
Could you recommand me any library that let me do that ? or a Controller/View architecture that let me do that myself ?
Is there an API or library for install, update, uninstall FireFox extensions ?
The article (https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Adding_Extensions_using_the_Windows_Registry) seems like a legacy information...
There are some functions to decompress in zlib library(zlib version 1.2.3)
I want to decompress my source zip(.gz) file using 'uncompress' function.
It is now working(error code -3) but gzopen is.
It is still not working when I input payload pointer(passing gzip header) to 'uncompress' .
So the question is
"What's the valid arguments for uncompress function?"
and If it needs different format, how can I make it?
Google doesn't helpful this time :(
I come from a Java background and have been using C# for the last year - So far the API docs I use are at MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms132397.aspx). I tend to use the lightweight C# docs.
What annoys me about that is that I don't see one page with details of the class, a list of members, a list of methods and properties like I would with a Java API definition.
Is this possible?
I have my small program.jar that uses a small part of huge library.jar.
Is there a tool to repackage several jars into one so it can be run stand-alone and is as small as possible?
i'm loading photos from my library just fine, but photos coming from he camera don't display in the imageView. I've used CFShow(info) and the data from the camera is not nil...
- (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo:(NSDictionary *)info
{
UIImage *image = [info objectForKey:@"UIImagePickerControllerEditedImage"];
[self.imageView setImage:image];
[self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES];
[picker release];
}
I'd like to embed code from my SVN repository into my website, using PHP. The SVN has public anonymous access, so the PHP code should be fine reading it.
The code on said SVN is java, and so far I've had no luck finding a syntax-highlighter to make the code more readable. Ideally I'd like one that uses CSS classes so that I can change the colors to match the look of the website.
Could someone point me to a PHP library that highlights Java code?
Hi,
I'm working with a jni application that loads a dll library, but the load of it is taking too long. The dll is in the path. As a relevant informat, this dll depends on other oracle dlls that are also in the path.
System.loadLibrary("exmaple.dll");
Do you have any idea why the load never ends?
Does anyone know a Library which provides a Thread.sleep() for Java which has an error not higher than 1-2 Millisecond?
I tried a mixture of Sleep, error measurement and BusyWait but I don't get this reliable on different windows machines.
It can be a native implementation if the implementation is available for Linux and MacOS too.
EDIT
The link Nick provided ( http://blogs.sun.com/dholmes/entry/inside_the_hotspot_vm_clocks ) is a really good resource to understand the issues all kinds of timers/sleeps/clocks java has.
I am developing a Delphi application that needs to pick up the rows from a period of work and convert them to a single XML file in order to upload to a 3rd party web-service.
Is there any component or library available to do that? If not, what is the best approach of code to build that DB2XML conversor?
I noticed that most XML questions are about how to convert it to another type of data.
Note: the database will be MySQL or Firebird.
I setup PyDev with this path for the python interpreter
/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/Python
since the one under /usr/bin were alias and Eclipse won't select it. I can run my python script now but cannot run the shell as an external tool. The message I get is
variable references empty selection ${resource_loc}
Same if I use {container_loc}
Any thoughts ?

When it comes to TTS (text-to-speech) libraries in Linux, what choices do developers have?
What libraries ship with the majority of distros?
Are there minimal libraries? What functionality does each library offer?
I'm approaching this primarily from a C++ point of view, although Python would suit me too.
eg I have two concurrent AJAX requests, and I need the result from both to compute a third result. I'm using the Prototype library, so it might look something like this:
var r1 = new Ajax.Request(url1, ...);
var r2 = new Ajax.Request(url2, ...);
function on_both_requests_complete(resp1, resp2) {
...
}
One way would be to use polling, but I'm thinking there must be a better way.
Hello,
I want to run a program in linux without the X borders. It's a c++ program that uses a graphical library called GRX and when it is launched it runs inside a window.
Is there any way to "force" an app not to run in windowed mode? An exec, comand or something?
Cheers
I'm trying to use Eclipse + PyDev for studying OpenGL programming but when I type
from OpenGL.GL import *
from OpenGL.GLUT import *
IDE becomes extremely slow!
Ok. It isn't a smart idea import to much useless things but it's so useful for learning a new library!
Any help?
PS: I use Ubuntu with Eclipse Galileo.
Am I missing something or is there no documentation of WPF controls?
When I look at MSDN, it says to reference System.Windows.Controls
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms752069.aspx), but this is for winforms?
Where can I find the WPF object model?
Is there a C++ library for emitting YAML? Wikipedia mentions a c++ wrapper for libyaml, but the link is broken. The official YAML site only offers yaml-cpp, which was also suggested in this SO question, but cpp-yaml is only a parser, not an emitter. Am I out of luck?
Edit: I'm looking for an object oriented interface, hence the C++ requirement. I know I could use libyaml's C interface in C++ code, but that's less than ideal.
In the following tutorial: http://pinoytech.org/blog/post/Kohana-2.4-I18N-internationalization-and-localization-Library the author says:
I'd put it in a Base Controller so
that all Controllers inherit it.
this is the code:
I18n::set_locale('tl_PH');
I tried placing it in all the controller and places I could but is not working.
Which is the exact place where I should place it?
Hi, is there any way to debug a 3rd party Java code (library) which, as I believe, was compiled without line number attributes? I attach a debugger to this class (decompiled in Eclipse using JadClipse) and I can set breakpoints on method entries, but cannot step through code line by line.
Hi, I am trying to set a cookie and also check if it is there, does anybody have any sample code for this? All I found was this, but it would be helpful if I could see an implementation example. http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSHTTPCookieStorage_Class/Reference/Reference.html
Hi everyone!
I'm using the libpq library in C to accessing my PostgreSQL database. So, when I do res = PQexec(conn, "SELECT point FROM test_point3d"); I don't know how to convert the PGresult I got to my custom data type.
I know I can use the PQgetValue function, but again I don't know how to convert the returning string to my custom data type.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advice.
This is sort of the Java analogue of this question about C#.
Suppose I have a String object which I want to represent in code and I want to produce a string literal that maps to the same thing.
I was just about to write a state machine that ingests the string character by character and escapes appropriately, but then I wondered if there was a better way, or a library that provides a function to do this.
I am trying to stop the default mouse wheel event that is called on the window and on a div and call my own function instead on the div. I need this to be cross-browser (without the use of a library. I know I need to use an eventListener and I think have to use both onmousewheel and DOMMouseScroll (for FF) but I think am getting caught up in the implementation somewhere.
I appreciate any and all help.
