The AU file format is very common in the Java world. In .NET however, I found no built-in class to play this format. Did I miss something, or do I need to resort to using a third-party library?
I have a page that comes back as an UnexpectedPage in HtmlUnit, the response is JSON. Can I use HTMLUnit to parse this or will I need an additional library?
I'm using the following code to hide stderr on Linux/OSX for a Python library I do not control that writes to stderr by default:
f = open("/dev/null","w")
zookeeper.set_log_stream(f)
Is there an easy cross platform alternative to /dev/null? Ideally it would not consume memory since this is a long running process.
I would like something similar to the string formatting from the standard library.
'%' Percentage. Multiplies the number
by 100 and displays in fixed ('f')
format, followed by a percent sign.
I already clicked allow, but it keep on asking me to Allow or deny.
What could be the problem?
And I check on my twitter settings connections
my application is not listed in there...
I'm using this guy's library http://www.haughin.com/code/twitter/
Thank you
Do any exist? Ideally it would also come with a library of basic PHP functions.
I have a bunch of simple PHP scripts (no extensions, no fancy dynamic hacks, etc) I'd like to convert to Java... It would be great if a tool could do 80% of the work while I do the other 20%.
Hi, is there any way to debug a 3rd party Java code (library) which, as I believe, was compiled without line number attributes? I attach a debugger to this class (decompiled in Eclipse using JadClipse) and I can set breakpoints on method entries, but cannot step through code line by line.
this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes?
Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.
I'm not sure where to look to find this information, but I'd like to know how to get mouse input (or any hid input) using the fewest non standard libraries in c. Basically, is there an stdio equivalent for mouse (and other input) input in c? Or is there a library that is minimal and cross compatible on multiple platforms. Just being able to print mouse coordinates to a terminal window would be enough.
I setup PyDev with this path for the python interpreter
/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/Python
since the one under /usr/bin were alias and Eclipse won't select it. I can run my python script now but cannot run the shell as an external tool. The message I get is
variable references empty selection ${resource_loc}
Same if I use {container_loc}
Any thoughts ?

I've noticed some games in the app store that allow the user to choose background music from their music library (iTunes). As a developer how can I add this functionality to my game?
What is the correct type to use in Qt development (or C++ in general) for decimal arithmetic, i.e. the equivalent of System.Decimal struct in .Net?
Does Qt provide a built-in struct? (I can't find it in the docs, but maybe don't know where to look.)
Is there a "standard" C++ library to use?
What if there was an error in registration or login and the user wanted to try it again. I wouldn't be able to get the information needed for registration. Do all providers behave like this, or is it the PHP OpenID library(http://openidenabled.com) I am using?
I'm still at the beginning in learning scala in addition to java and i didn't get it how is one supposed to do DI there? can or should i use an existing DI library, should it be done manually or is there another way?
I'm a bit surprised I haven't found a good open source library for performing common network tasks. There are a few very good commercial libraries, but they're too expensive to use on an open source project.
Anyone know of any?
I am working on a research project that deals with social networks. I have done most of the backbone of the program in C++ and am now wanting to implement a way to create the graph of nodes and the connections as well as a way to visualize the connections between people. I have looked a little into Lemon and the Boost graph library, but was wondering which one would be easier to learn and implement or if I should just code my own.
I am just working on a project where the library has an object with the property color, however being British I always use colour when writing variables and properties.
I also just found some legacy code where the British developer used color in a variable name.
Is American English the default for development now?
I've to create a dataset from some text files, writing them as vectors of features.
Something like this:
doc1: 1,0.45 6,0.001 94,0.1 ...
doc2: 3,0.5 98,0.2 ...
...
each position of the vector represent a word, and the score is given by something like TF-IDF.
Do you know some library/tool/whatever for this? (java is better)
I'm maintaining a PHP library that is responsible for fetching and storing incoming data (POST, GET, command line arguments, etc). I've just fixed a bug that would not allow it to fetch array variables from POST and GET and I'm wondering whether this is also applicable to the part that deals with the command line.
Can you pass an array as a command line argument to PHP?
I'm moving some Flex classes to pure Flash/AS3 to be part of a shared library. I have an event listener on FlexEvent.CREATION_COMPLETE to create and add display-objects once things are running, but I don't know the right way to do this in Flash?
edit: Maybe if my class subclasses Sprite rather than a Flex class, I can add children in the constructor, I don't need to wait for a "construction complete" event?
I need to build a Java app with considerable IO requirements, supporting tens of thousands of concurrent TCP connections.
I found a library called Raining Sockets which seems intended to make it easier to use Java's asynchronous NIO package, but the last update was 6 years ago.
Are there other libraries, that are preferably still under active development, and with a public maven repository, that I should look at?
My Question is about private framworks in IphoneOS3.1SDK dirctory
/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS3.0.sdk/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/
What are they ? and when i added one of them to my project, they didn't have any headers?
How can i use them in my project?
Dear,
I am looking for well known Microsoft Project alike applications which somehow i get to know through this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/729926/alternatives-to-microsoft-project but I also need to know their API/Library through which I can pro grammatically read their files using .NET
Hope m not asking for much :)
Where can I find the source code of something like this (Google Map API):
http://gmaps-utility-library.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/labeledmarker/1.1/examples/airportmap.html
What's the easiest way of marking spots in a Google Map API (embedded in my web site), according to a list of places and dates?
