  • Expose JSON as queryable for jQuery

    I am trying to expose some data, user names, as json format on my server. I want to use jQuery.getJSOn() method to query data. I can get my data converted to json with newtonsoft.dll on server and save it in a file. But as far as I know it is not queryable. I want something like http://search.twitter.com/search.json?callback=?&q=abc Can anyone help me out to expose my data ion the above format.

    I have been using the NavigationService's Navigate method to navigate to other pages in my WP7 Silverlight app: NavigationService.Navigate(new Uri("/Somepage.xaml?val=dreas", UriKind.Relative)); From Somepage.xaml, I then retrieve the query string parameters as follows: string val; NavigationContext.QueryString.TryGetValue("val", out val); I now need a way to pass a complex object using a similar manner. How can I do this without having to serialize the object every time I need to pass it to a new page?

    In Java I'm trying to test for a null value, from a ResultSet, where the column is being cast to a primitive int type. int iVal; ResultSet rs = magicallyAppearingStmt.executeQuery(query); if (rs.next()) { if (rs.getObject("ID_PARENT") != null && !rs.wasNull()) { iVal = rs.getInt("ID_PARENT"); } } From the code fragment above, is there a better way to do this, and I assume that the second wasNull() test is redundant?     In one web page we use a flash upload control but becouse a flash bug in the upload event the session is lost as its posted back with a new session. We have tought of using a table with ip and old session id or a query string with the old session id in order to reassing it in the uploaded event... Knowing the old session id how can i reassign it to the client? (In C#)

  • My login controller doesn't work. Problem with fetching username.

    Currently my login controller doesn't work because i can't seem to fetch the username and password. I'm currently using something like this: form_username = str(request.params.get('username')) db_user = meta.Session.query(User).filter_by(username=form_username) if db_user is None: return redirect('auth/error') No matter which username is use, db_user always returns True and thus never goes to auth/error. I used the shell to play with this and i was able establish a connection with the database, so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here.

I have a date, that is converted to mm-dd-yyyy when posting it to mysql i have re-ordered it to yyyy-mm-dd but yet it still will not insert $date = date("Y-m-d", strtotime($_POST['leaving_date']) ); any advice?
