• Exception declared on ANTLR grammar rule ignored

  I have a tree parser that's doing semantic analysis on the AST generated by my parser. It has a rule declared as follows: transitionDefinition throws WorkflowStateNotFoundException: /* ... */ This compiles just fine and matches the rule syntax at the ANTLR Wiki but my exception is never declared so the Java compiler complains about undeclared exceptions. ./tool/src/main/antlr3/org/antlr/grammar/v3/ANTLRv3.g shows that it's building a tree (but I'm not actually positive if it's the v2 or v3 grammar that ANTLR 3.2 is using): throwsSpec : 'throws' id ( ',' id )* -> ^('throws' id+) ; I know I can make it a runtime exception, but I'd like to use my exception hierarchy. Am I doing something wrong or should that syntax work?

• Continous Build Integration with SourceSafe and Windows Batch Files

  I want to create a continuous build integration system for .NET using just Windows batch files and Visual Source Safe. I've come up with the following batch file so far - set ssdir=\\xxxx\vss cd d:\mydir "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual SourceSafe\ss.exe" diff "$/sourcedir" -R -Q > diffout.txt This will spit out a file containg lines like "SourceSafe files different from local files" when a change has been made. My challenge is to figure out if those lines are in the file, then do a get and kick off MSBuild if they are. I'd then schedule the batch file to run every 10 minutes or so. Anyone got any thoughts on how to do that? Or any other ways of doing continuous build integration without downloading a complicated build automation system? Update: Happy to use cscript or powershell too, though not really familiar with those environments. My main aim is to avoid installing 3rd party software

• Tableview lags, and glitches while scrolling due to images loading in each cell

  Hey Guys! Me again! Can someone provide me with some example code of how to properly load images in a tablecell without making the tableview glitch while scrolling. For example if you look at fandago's app, when scrolling through their movies you can see that the image is loaded asynchronously so that the scroll isnt jumping, lagging, or glitchy. Thanks in advance. Right now I have the images loading just fine but it is glitchy as i scroll because the images are loading on main thread. I am creating an app very similar to fandango. PS I am downloading these images via xml. (you know what i mean) Thanks!!

  I'm currently trying to get a grasp on pycurl. I'm attempting to login to my own website. After logging into the site it should redirect to the main page. However when trying this script it just gets returned to the login page.   Is it possible to read the GUID from the Assembly without actually loading it in the current App Domain. Normally Assembly.Load loads the DLL into the app domain. I just want to read the value. The description of the GUID is 'The following GUID is for the ID of the typelib ' if this project is exposed to COM <Assembly: Guid("DEDDE61CD-928E-4ACD-8C25-3B8577284819")> The main thing is I don't want to lock the file so that there are no errors 'Another process is accessing the file' error.

  Hi there, How can I make my static-file root directories relative to my application root folder (instead of a hard-coded path)? In accordance with CP instructions (http://www.cherrypy.org/wiki/StaticContent) I have tried the following in my configuration file: tree.cpapp = cherrypy.Application(cpapp.Root()) tools.staticdir.root = cpapp.current_dir but when I run cherrpy.quickstart(rootclass, script_name='/', config=config_file) I get the following error builtins.ValueError: ("Config error in section: 'global', option: 'tree.cpapp', value: 'cherrypy.Application(cpapp.Root())'. Config values must be valid Python.", 'TypeError', ("unrepr could not resolve the name 'cpapp'",)) I know I can do configuration from within the main.py file just before quickstart is called (eg. using os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(file))), but I prefer using the idea of a separate configuration file if possible.   hi, I'm trying to figure out what i'm doing wrong but i just don't get it. Here is what i want to do: I want to draw a circle somewhere on the screen of the iphone and then i want the circle always to be displayed at the position where the user currently taps on the screen. • Remove a keyboard shortcut binding in Visual Studio using Macros

  Hi. I have a lot of custom keyboard shortcuts set up. To avoid having to set them up every time I install a new visual studio (happens quite a lot currectly, with VS2010 being in beta/RC) I have created a macro, that sets up all my custom commands, like this: DTE.Commands.Item("ReSharper.ReSharper_UnitTest_RunSolution").Bindings = "Global::Ctrl+T, Ctrl+A" My main problem is that Ctrl+T is set up to map to the transpose char command by default. So I want to remove that default value in my macro. I have tried the following two lines, but both throw an exception DTE.Commands.Item("Edit.CharTranspose").Bindings = "" DTE.Commands.Item("Edit.CharTranspose").Bindings = Nothing Although they kind of work, because they actually remove the binding ;) But I would prefer the solution that doesn't throw an exception. How is that done?

  hello, i have an ASP webform with a JQuery Thickbox, i have an image that opens the thickbox when user click. once open the thickbox it shows me a grid with several rows and a button to select one and after the user select the record it returns to the main page the recordselected and cause a __doPostBack() BUT! sometimes in IE6 it stay loading the postback and never ends i have to refresh the page and when it refresh it shows everything fine. but i dont want the postback stay loading AND it does not happend always. i have to call a __doPostBack because i need to find info related to the selected record. thanks.

• UrlHelper and ViewContext inside an Authorization Attribute

  I have a scenario that I haven't been able to solve: I'm toying around with creating my own custom authorization attribute for mvc. The main bit of functionality I would like to add is to have the ability to change where the user gets redirected if they are not in a certain role. I don't mind that the system sends them back to the login page if they're not authenticated, but I would like to choose where to send them if they are authenticated but not allowed to access that action method. Here's is what I would like to do: public class CustomAuthorizeAttribute : AuthorizeAttribute { public string Action; public string Controller; protected override bool AuthorizeCore(System.Web.HttpContextBase httpContext) { // if User is authenticated but not in the correct role string url = Url.Action(this.Action, this.Controller); httpContext.Response.Redirect(url); } } And as an added bonus I would like to have access to ViewContext and TempData before I do the redirect. Any thoughts on how I could get instantiate a UrlHelper and ViewContext in the attribute?

  All, On the main stage I have a button that is highlighted on rollover. I am using mx.managers.CreatePopUp to create a dialog box that pops up and takes user information. When the dialog box appears above the button, mousing over the dialog box triggers the highlight for the button beneath it. Can you provide some suggestions as to what the issue might be caused by? (I am fairly new to Flash so any suggestions would be helpful. Just looking for things to experiment with to get the correct behavior.) Other info that might be helpful: I've noticed that when I create a modal version of the dialog box, this behavior does not occur. Dismissing the modal dialog disables the entire stage. Fixing this issue would also solve my problem, but I've been unsuccessful thus far. Thanks in advance.

• Edit a video to embed a bitmap.

  I would like to edit a video so that i can embed a small bitmap image at any corner. The bitmap image has to be replaced with another image, for every two video frames. If somehow it is possible to covert a group of pictures into slideshow video then i want that video to be embedded at the corner of the main video. The size of the bitmap is about the size of a channel logo and that is exact space it will occupy in the video. Please guide me in accomplishing. Is there any existing libraries available to do this. • Display content in folder like Wordpress displays Themes

  Hi, I’ve throughout the last couple of years downloaded a lot of templates for websites and these are now starting to become chaotic in the different folders so I’m starting to get a overview of the different templates. Regarding to this I was thinking about the way that WordPress displays the different themes installed in the themes folder. It provides a small overview (thumbnail) of the theme and a possibility to preview the theme. Of cause, I don’t need or want such a advanced system as Wordpress but I’m attractive to the idea of displaying my templates in the same kind of manner and without using a Database. I’ve played around with different directory management scripts and tools for PHP but the best result I’ve got so fare is just to display the different content in the different folders but not create a preview which in each preview it will use the webpage itself and it’s stylesheets, images, etc. Does anyone have an idea how to create such a script or have a link to a already existing script.   I'm trying to get a deeper understanding of laziness in Haskell. I was imagining the following snippet today: data Image = Image { name :: String, pixels :: String } image :: String -> IO Image image path = Image path <$> readFile path The appeal here is that I could simply create an Image instance and pass it around; if I need the image data it would be read lazily - if not, the time and memory cost of reading the file would be avoided: main = do image <- image "file" putStrLn $ length $ pixels image But is that how it actually works? How is laziness compatible with IO? Will readFile be called regardless of whether I access pixels image or will the runtime leave that thunk unevaluated if I never refer to it? If the image is indeed read lazily, then isn't it possible I/O actions could occur out of order? For example, what if immediately after calling image I delete the file? Now the putStrLn call will find nothing when it tries to read.

• VB.net, disable proxy for entire program

  Ever since upgrading to Visual Studio 2010, I'm running into an issue where the first web request of any type (WebRequest, WebClient, etc.) hangs for about 20 seconds before completing. Subsequent calls work quickly. I've narrowed down the problem to a proxy issue. If I manually disable proxy settings, I don't experience this delay: Dim wrq As WebRequest = WebRequest.Create(Url) wrq.Proxy = Nothing What's strange is that there are no proxy settings enabled on this machine in Internet Options. What I'm wondering is if there is a way to disable proxy settings for my entire project in one shot without explicitly disabling as above for every web object. The main reason I want to be able to do this is that I'm trying to use an API (http://code.google.com/p/google-api-for-dotnet/) which uses web requests, but does not provide any way to manually disable proxy settings. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

  Hello, I am biulding an e-shop that will have configurable products. The configurable parts will need to have different prices and stocks from the main product. What database design would be best in this case? I started with something like this. Features id name Features Options id id_feature value Products id name price Products Features id id_product id_feature value ( save the value from the feature-options for ease in search ) configurable (yes, no) The problem is that now I am stuck on how to save the configurable product features. I was thinking of saving their value as a json. But that will make saving price modification for a certain option difficult. How would you go about this ? Thank you.

• How to refresh parent and ancestor windows after closing the child windows?

  Hi, I have three windows: 1st - main window 2nd - child window - it's opened using window.showModalDialog from 1st widnow. 3rd - window - is an ancestor of 1st window and is's opened from 2nd window using window.showModalDialog. And now what I need to achieve is to open 1, 2 and 3 window. Next after closing the 3rd one, refresh the 2nd one. And after closing the 2nd one, refresh the 1st one. But there is one more assumption, I don't want to have any post-back during this process. Dose anybody have any idea how to make it?
