• Importing modules on portable python

  Hi, I am running PortablePython_1.1_py2.6.1 on a USB stick. My code relies on some modules that are not preinstalled. Does anyone know whether it is possible to add new modules to a portable python installation? Simply copying in folders into site-lib does not seem to work.

  I am trying to create something that uses the idea of the UIPopOverController, I mean, have that speech bubble anchor pointing to the button who triggered the method. The problem is that I am using a UISegmentedControl... How do I get the id of the button that was tapped on a UISegmentedControl, so I can determine its position and generate the anchor? thanks for any help.

  Hello all I was wondering how it's possible to find out if an image in the iPhone photo library is isotropic or anisotropic. Basically how many millimeters each pixel measures in height and in width. In JPG images the information is hardcoded into the data stream so it's possible to do by simply pointing a const char* to the image file, but I'm not sure I can do that with the data the iPhone image returns. So that whenever i have a new photo i can just stick it in a folder and have my swf file read from that folder and update the slideshow.   Hello, I am trying to figure out how to convert an "external relative path" to an absolute one: I'd really like a function that will do the following: $path = "/search?q=query"; $host = "http://google.com"; $abspath = reltoabs($host, $path); And have $abspath equal to "http://google.com/search?q=query" The problem is that it is not guaranteed to be in that format, and it could already be absolute, or be pointing to a different host entirely, and I'm not quite sure how to approach this.
