  • Mapping a ER model to Rails

    Hi there, I want to map the following ER schema to rails: I have an entity called "user" which has a self relationship called "has friend", which has an attribute called "status". In code, I would like to run: User.friends and it should return me an array of users, containing the users that I'm friend of. It shouldn't matter in which side of the relationship I am (i.e. whether I'm the friender or the friendee). Any thoughts?

  • Ignore SSL errors in Zend_Http_Client

    In PHP curl there are two functions used to ignore all SSL errors (invalid cert, self signed, expired, so on): curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, false); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false); I am switching over to use Zend_Http_Client, but I can't seem to find a way to force it to ignore errors. (I don't have a way to test it just yet, I wanted to see if anybody has done this before) So, does anybody know the equivalent function/functions to do this in Zend_Http_Client?

  • Excel VBA Application.OnTime. I think its a bad idea to use this... thoughts either way?

    I have a number of users I support that are asking for things to happen automatically ( well more automagically but that's another point!). One want events to happen every 120 secs ( see my other question ) and also another wants 1 thing to happen say at 5pm each business day. This has to be on the Excel sheet so therefore VBA as addins etc will be a no no, as it needs to be self contained. I have a big dislike of using Application.OnTime I think its dangerous and unreliable, what does everyone else think?

I am thinking that for each authenticated user (logged in) we would need an OS CAL & a SharePoint CAL & we would need a processor license for SQL Server - Is this correct & what about non-authemticatedc website "browsers"? Any advice much appreciated.

  • NSKeyedUnarchiver chokes when trying to unarchive more than one object

    We've got a custom matrix class, and we're attempting to archive and unarchive an NSArray containing four of them. The first seems to get unarchived fine (we can see that initWithCoder is called once), but then the program simply hangs, using 100% CPU. It doesn't continue or output any errors.     Scenario : I have a PHP Forum and a Asp.Net site hosted on Linux and MS Hosting respectively (obvious right?!). My domain ABC.com is currently configured with PHP host whereas my ASP.Net site is using the default 1and1 generated URL (s0987465.onlinehome.us). So my question is, how to display ABC.com for any URL that includes s0987465.onlinehome.us? Example : s0987465.onlinehome.us/test.aspx?id=100 should display ABC.com or ABC.com/test.aspx?id=100 in the address bar by displaying content generated by s0987465.onlinehome.us?

  • Setting UITableViewCell button image values during scrolling

    I am having an issue where I am trying to save whether a repeat image will show selected or not (it is created as a UIButton on a UITableViewCell created in IB). The issue is that since the cell gets re-used randomly, the image gets reset or set somewhere else after you start scrolling. I've looked all over and the advice was to setup an NSMutableArray to store the button's selection state and I am doing that in an array called checkRepeatState My question is: where do I put the if-then-else statement in the code to where it will actually change the button image based on if the checkRepeatState is set to 0 or 1 for the given cell that is coming back into view? Right now, the if-then-else statement I am using has absolutely no effect on the button image when it comes into view. I'm very confused at this point. Thank you ahead of time for any insight you can give!!!     Im touching up an mvc2 application thats nearly complete, I have some ajax requests that end up looking alot like www.host.com/site/controller/action?UserName=asdf&UserPassword=asdfasdf&Email=asd%40df.com&PhoneNumber=541-345-5433&CompanyName="sdf" So my question is how (if possible) can I mask the ajax url on the redirect to simply be.. /controller/action, Im getting the feeling I broke pattern with my ajax and am stuck with nasty URLS. any mvc2 gurus out there willing to clarify?
