  Hi Guys, I'm developing my first facebook app on kohana 2.3.x at the moment and I noticed that a usual app url should look like this: http://apps.facebook.com/{my_app}/{controller}/{method} But in my app it shows the real url. http://mydomain.com/{controller}/{method} Any idea how to fix that in Kohana?   I'm using FCKEditor in my Rails app to create HTML forms and it goes very well, except that no ID tag can be filled out. It asks for name and value with the input tags, but not for an ID. Is there a simple way to enable this or to add this manually? Thanks!

• Wait for function to finish before starting again.

  Good Morning, I am trying to call the same function everytime the user presses a button. Here is what happens at the moment.. User clicks button - Calls function - function takes 1000ms+ to finish (due to animation with jQuery and AJAX calls) What I want to happen is every time the user presses the button it adds the function to the queue, waits for the previous call to finish, and then starts.. Is this possible? Sorry if my explanation is a bit confusing.. Thanks Matthew

  I have a JPanel that encapsulates two JPanels, one on top of the other. The first holds two JLabels which hold the playing cards. The second holds the player's text (name and score). However, when I remove the player's cards, the lower JPanel moves up to the top, which i would prefer that it not do. Is there a way to keep it in place regardless of whether the top JPanel is occupied or not? Thanks

• limits of number of files in a single directory in unix/linux using Python

  is it bad to output many files to the same directory in unix/linux? I run thousands of jobs on a cluster and each outputs a file, to one directory. The upper bound here is around ~50,000 files. Can IO be limited in speed in light of this? If so, does the problem go away with a nested directory structure? Thanks.

• Axis web service can't be invoked from web application

  Hi all, I have a simple axis 1.4 web service which I deployed successfully and can invoke it from main method of a Java class. This works fine but when I try to invoke it from a web application it throws an exception saying 'Class not found' for the class 'ws/impl/AwardWebServiceSoapBindingStub'. • Identifying and removing null characters in UNIX

  I have a text file containing unwanted null characters. When I try to view it in I see ^@ symbols, interleaved in normal text. How can I: a) Identify which lines in the file contains null characters? I have tried grepping for \0 and \x0, but this did not work. b) Remove the null characters? Running strings on the file cleaned it up, but I'm just wondering if this is the best way? Thanks

Here is an example of the "Differences ..." block: ==== //depot/Groups/mygroup/trunk/main/FooBar.java#5 (text) ==== add 7 chunks 13 lines deleted 1 chunks 1 lines changed 16 chunks 92 / 118 lines ~ Now I understand that add and deleted lines are clear but why are there two numbers for the changed lines (92 / 118).
