how to inject javascript code in url to insert iframe in existing page

I am able to get the following JS to create IFRAME and add it to the page. The issue is if I create JS method on the page and ivoke it on a button click it works. But when I try to inject the same JS into the page url via setting the location.href it does not work the right way , rather it replaces the existing page with a new iframe. I am using jQuery to load ina background image that fills the page width / height. I have looked at a few other threads on Stack that suggest its not possible as a body element defined in css, but in this scenario the BG image is being loaded in by jQuery. How would I go about adding a fade in to this code to bring the image in with a nice fadein?

Using CSS to positon text after an image

I've trying to do something that I'm sure is simple, but I can't do it. All I want to do is have an image and then some text after that image, and be able to control accurately the amount of space between the image and the text. In my style sheet, wrap has these attributes: .wrap { //text-align: left; width: 1100px; height: 870px; background-color: white; color: black; padding: 10px; margin: auto; I want my text to look like this directly below the image: Username Age Location Currently, I just add loads of break tags to control where I have the text, but that's messy and there must be a better way. PS it is question, related to maximal rate of load/store instructions in assembler. I have a div which I am using as a footer to display some content. I have put the style as: .pageFooter{ position:absolute; bottom:0px; width:100%; height:25px; background:#e6e6e6; } This style works well when there is not content in the body of page. But when I populate the page with content, say datagrid, the div is overlaps data in datagrid. What changes should I make to the style to let the div be at the bottom always. I am using IE* to view the pages.

I've killed off the left column through CSS .col-left { display: none; } And then increased the width of the main content part to create a 'two column layout'. What I want to do now is move the navigation for the categories into the right column. I just have no idea how... How do I move content blocks around in Magento? :/

How do I add a loading indicator to my page while my iframe loads?

I am currently creating a page where upon clicking a link an iframe is inserted into a div and it's contents loaded. I do this using the following jQuery call: $('#mydiv').html('<iframe src="sourcelink.html" frameborder="0" width="760" height="2400" scrolling="no"></iframe>'); Sometimes the source content loads very slowly and, as a result, it looks like nothing is happening. I would like to have a simple loading animation while the content is loading while the iframe's content loads. When the iframe finishes loading it's content should pop in and the loading animation should go away. I've been considering a couple ways I could do this (e.g. having a separate loader div to simply swap the two in and out) but I'm not sure of what the 'best' approach to solving this problem is. Perhaps I shouldn't be using .html()? I'm open to suggestion if there is a more correct solution.

Is it possible to use an incremental value within a variable name whilst declaring it within a loop?

Hi, I'm creating function which will read different XML files each time that will contain different amounts of the same nodes. I have already created a loop which stores the ID of each node into an array, and now I want to create variables for each array member which store attributes of the node with each ID. Because the number of nodes will be different for every XML document my function reads, I cannot manually assign variables for the attributes of each node ID not knowing how many to assign, so I have created a loop which runs specific to the number of items I have stored in the array. Inside this loop I was hoping to have something like: for (i=0; i<array.length; i++) { var ID + i + width = exampleheight var ID + i + height = exampleheight } I know this doesn't work, but was trying to outline what I am looking to find out. Is it possible to use some kind of variable or random number when declaring a variable?

two line label with expression

I'd like to write an axis label over two lines with an expression() statement. However, plotmath and expression won't allow this (e.g. subscript appear on the far right). I found this discussion circa 2005 of a similar issue but the work around that they offer doesn't translate to my application in ggplot2. A recent question addressed a a different permutation of multi-line expression statements, but again the work around provided doesn't apply here. Example: p <- ggplot(mtcars,aes(x=wt,y=mpg))+ geom_point()+ xlab(expression(paste("A long string of text goes here just for the purpose \n of illustrating my point Weight "[reported]))) try(ggsave(plot=p,filename=<some file>,height=4,width=6)) yields an image where subscript "reported" is kicked out to the right when I'd like it to sit next to the previous word.

With HTML and CSS, how to have an image that is vertically aligned with a horizontal line?

View is moved 3 pixels

Hello, In my app I move the table view (in order to make the text fields visible when the keyboard appears). The view is looks following: This is the code I use for resizing the view and moving it up: static const NSUInteger navBarHeight = 44; CGRect appFrame = [[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]; tableView.frame = CGRectMake(0, navBarHeight, appFrame.size.width, appFrame.size.height-navBarHeight-216); //216 for the keyboard NSIndexPath *indPath = [self getIndexPathForTextField:textField]; //get the field the view should scroll to [tableView scrollToRowAtIndexPath:indPath atScrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionMiddle animated:YES]; The problem is that when the view is moved up it also moves 3 pixels into right direction (it is hard to see the difference in the screenshot, but it is visible when the animation is on and I measured the difference with PixelStick tool). Here it is how it looks after the move: My analysis shows that scrolling the table does not influence the move to the right. Any ideas what is wrong in the code above that makes the view move to the right?

i have a style : .window .div { border:medium solid #000000; height:150px; background-color: #0099FF; } and then i have another style: #NewDiv { font:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 24px; height: 20px; border-bottom-width: medium; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #000000; } I need to put a #NewDiv div tag inside of window .div, BUT... #NewDiv must retain its own styling while sitting inside of window .div div tags. How do I do this? Currently when I try, #NewDiv takes on the same styling as window .div when i place it inside of it and i dont want that at all. Any suggestions?

UIView animations on a path not linear

I have an iOS application that I want to animate a falling leaf (or several). I have my leaf image in an ImageView and I've figured out a simple animation from the documentation: [UIView animateWithDuration:4.0f delay:0 options:UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromLeft animations:^(void) { leaf1ImageView.frame = CGRectMake(320, 480, leaf1ImageView.frame.size.width,leaf1ImageView.frame.size.height); } completion:NULL]; This will make the leaf go from its starting position to the bottom right corner in a straight line. How would I animate this to follow a path or curve like a parabola or sinusoid and maybe even rotate the image or view? Would this be done in the animations block? Thanks in advance!
