  • Windows development on a Mac Pro

    Looking to do iphone, android, and possibly windows phone development on a Mac Pro. What are the pluses and minuses of using a Mac Pro and a dual boot. Unlike most, Windows 7 will be the primary OS since most supporting software will be done with Visual Studio 08/10 over the next year. I have found driver issues from a few years ago. Do any of these issues still exist?

  • AsyncTask when is onCancelled() is called besides calling AsyncTask.cancel ?

    Hi Im new to android. Currently I have a View which has a AsyncTask class used for decoding. But eventhough AsyncTask.cancel() is not called within my class, onCancelled() has been called which resulted to some abnormal process in my application. I would like to ask if what are any instances that AsyncTask.onCancelled() will be called besides when calling the AsyncTask.cancel() Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot in advance

The method pl.showHand() returns a ArrayList of a user defined class 'Card'. Inserting a println() inside the loop shows the print, so the code is being executed but the Panel panelplay isnt showing card Images.

  • Not getting image in h:graphicImage in JSF

    Hello, I have this very strange error with h:graphicImage This code works fine :- <h:graphicImage value="/Common/Images/#{item.templatePicName}"/> And this one doesn't :- <h:graphicImage alt="${app:getCommonImagePath(item.templatePicName)}" value="${app:getCommonImagePath(item.templatePicName)}" /> It only shows alt value /Common/Images/Sunset.jpg which is perfectly fine and works in 1st case. Then why doesn't it work in 2nd case? There are no problems with my images.     HI. I know this is simple question but when I use FirstPersonTestImage.Save(IIdComboBox.Text + "-" + i + ".jpg"); it works and saves file to folder where is the .exe file .   • Any GUI libaray for iPhone & Andriod based on OpenGL ES?

    Since both iPhone and Android support OpenGL ES, is there any open source or commercial GUI library we can use for these two platforms? Or is it doable (or how difficult) to port an application from one to another platform? As I know, for iPhone only, libNUI (http://www.libnui.net) is a good choice (dynamic layout & mature), but it only provides GPL & commercial license. Any other open source tool similar with libNUI?

    Hi Im making i photo sharint site I want to give the ability for my users to prevent the public to acces their albums with a password. Then they can give the password to the ones they want to be able to see it. To password protect their albums.   • Browser-Incompatability with image alignment in CSS using YUI grid (Firefox + Opera)

    I'm having trouble with the alignment of two images on the footer of my temporary website (http://www.rotimioyewole.com). I'm new to the YUI grid, which I think may be a factor. It should look roughly like this (works correctly in Chrome and Safari, haven't tested IE yet): (http://cl.ly/44fH) But on FF and Opera look like this: http://cl.ly/44aO If I can have some sort of consistency then the website would at least be presentable. Ideally, I would also like to align both images on the same Y axis, as well as the text next to the icons. I had trouble figuring out how to search for a solution..can anybody help me?
