• Add 2 titles styles in Nivo Lightbox Jquery

  I need to add 2 different titles to customize each one of them in the Nivo Lightbox Example: http://prntscr.com/23o766 But it's look like is not possible, is there a way to put 2 titles on 1 image? Or anyway to resolve this? also, I would love to be able to use the title as a link, but there are a lot of limitations. thanks.   I need to strip YouTube embed codes down to their URL only. This is the exact opposite of all but one question on StackOverflow. Most people want to turn the URL into an embed code. This question addresses the usage patttern I want, but is tied to a specific embed code's regex ( Strip YouTube Embed Code Down to URL Only ) I'm not familiar with how YouTube has offered embeds over the years - or how the sizes differ. According to their current site, there are 2 possible embed templates and a variety of options. If that's it, I can handle a regex myself -- but I was hoping someone had more knowledge they could share, so I could write a proper regex pattern that matches them all and not run into endless edge-cases. The full use case scenario : user enters content in web based wysiwig editor backend cleans out youtube & other embed codes; reformats approved embeds into an internal format as the text is all converted to markdown. on display, appropriate current template/code display for youtube or other 3rd party site is generated At a previous company, our tech-team devised a plan where YouTube videos were embedded by listing the URL only. That worked great , but it was in a CMS where everyone was trained. I'm trying to create a similar storage, but for user-generated-content.

• Saving animated GIFs using urllib.urlopen (image saved does not animate)

  I have Apache2 + Django + X-sendfile. My problem is that when I upload an animated GIF, it won't "animate" when I output through the browser. • Increase the compression performance of VPN

  I am currently switching from a system with HPN-SSH tunnels and enabled compression to something VPN based. I have tried tinc and n2n so far, hamachi requires a library I do not have. In my primitive benchmarks I am not satisfied with the achievable bandwidth compared to the SSH tunnels. In tinc the low LZO setting performed best, but compression is only available in UDP mode. Ideally I would like to have a TCP-based VPN with a multi-threaded compression. Can you suggest me some ideas how to increase the performance? Would it be possible to somehow put a compression filter in front of the tun interface? Or are there any VPN implementations that might be better suited for my needs (fast compression, TCP-based, switch mode, does not have to be super-secure)? I would consider tunnelling Ethernet over SSH, but according to some articles it is not advisable.

  I am having difficulties with forms, specifically ModelMultipleChoiceField. I've pieced together this code from various examples, but it sadly doesn't work. I would like to be able to: Search for some Works on work_search.html Display the results of the search, with checkboxes next to each result Select the Works I want, via the checkboxes After pressing Add, display which works were selected. The thing is, due to various reasons (including Google) I want to avoid placing an ad in BETWEEN the post's content. CSS only I am sure that something like this would be possible with some JavaScript code. But I am looking for a CSS-based solution only. • Digitally sign MS Office (Word, Excel, etc..) and PDF files on the server

  I need to digitally sign MS Office and PDF files that are stored on a server. I really mean a digital signature that is integrated in the document, according to each specific file formats. This is the process I had in mind : Create a hash of the file's content Send the hash to a custom written java applet in the browser The user encrypts the hash with his/her private key (on an usb token via PKCS#11 for example), thus effectively signing the file. The applet then sends the signature to the server On the server I would then incorporate the signature in the file's (MS Office and PDF files can do that without changing the file's content, probably by just setting some metadata field) What is cool is that you never have to download and upload the complete file to the server again. What is even cooler, the customer doesn't need Office or PDF Writer to sign the files. Parts 2, 3 and 4 are OK for me, my company bought all the JAVA technology I need for that for a previous project I worked on. Problem : I can't seem to find any documentation/examples to do parts 1 and 5 for Office files . Are my google skills failing me this time ? Do you have any pointers to documentation or examples for doing that for MS Office files ? The underlying technology isn't that important to me : I can use Java, .Net, COM, any working technology is OK ! Note : I'm 95% sure I can nail points 1 and 5 for PDF files using iText Thanks ** Edit : If I can't do that with hashes and must download the complete file to the client, it's also possible. • Simulating network latency for localhost connection on Windows 7

  I need to simulate network latency to a program running on the local computer, connecting to a local service. Thus far I have tried dummynet (a windows build of ipfw) which I got working after some trial and error. While it generally works, I can't seem to get it to filter localhost traffic. Even after adding a rule from any to any which affects external traffic, this makes no difference for local connections. I would appreciate if anyone knows how to simulate local latency using dummynet or a different tool. The tool should be able to simulate latency generically in IP packets, (TCP and UDP) and not be protocol specific.

• CSS Table Formatting to a HTML Table

  I am attempting to provide CSS formating to two HTML tables, but I cannot. I am setting up a webpage in HTML & CSS (with the CSS in an external sheet) and the layout of the website depends on the tables. There are 2 tables, one for the head and another for the body. They are set up whereas content is situated in one middle column of 60% width, with one column on each side of the center with 20% width each, along with other table formatting. My question is - how can I format the tables in CSS? I successfully formatted them in HTML, but this will not do. This is the CSS code for the tables - each table has the id layouttable: #layouttable{border:0px;width:100%;} #layouttable td{width:20%;vertical-align:top;} #layouttable td{width:60%;vertical-align:top;background-color:#E8E8E8;} #layouttable td{width:20%;vertical-align:top;} The tables in the html document both each have, in respective order, these elements (with content inside not shown): <table id="layouttable"><tr><td></td><td></td><td></td></tr></table> Does anyone have any idea why this CSS is not working, or can write some code to fix it? • Thunderbird + Gmail, has to send emails twice.

  I've configured Thunderbird to place a copy of my sent emails in my remote "sent" folder of my Gmail account as opposed to the local thunderbird one. This ensures I can completely take advantage of my imap synchronization. And so whenever I send an email, it first sends one to the address list, then it sends a new one to my sent box, however doing this with large attachments seems like a waste of time and bandwidth. Do you guys know of any extension or a combination of a trick plus a Gmail filter that could automate this in one step?

• How to defend agains botnet http requests

  I have a server with WHM + CPanel and 5 of my costumer got infected with zbot. This means that the domains they have are constantly receiving requests to certain destinations. I tried to use mod_security but seems that it can't filter every requests... I don't really know why? I still see in the access log the connection comming in and it's consuming a LOT of bandwidth and server load Those accounts have already been clean so all of those requests go to error 404 (the ones catched on mod_security I am dropping the connection). Is there anymore ways to defend against this requests?

The current_window and the current_marker inside the function is overide at each loop turn. How can I get it right ? Thanks

• jquery show / hide div on click even in a slideshow?

  Is it possible to combine a slideshow and show / hide div functionality? My html structure is below, and basically, I'm trying to get the tabs a links to open up the div with the corresponding class if a user clicks on it. If a user doesn't click on it, it should still just cycle through each image. So, if the images are rotating, and I click on <a class="t2"> then would open.   In my application, I am trying to pass a serializable object through an intent to another activity. The intent is not entirely created by me, it is created and passed through a search suggestion. In the content provider for the search suggestion, the object is created and placed in the SUGGEST_COLUMN_INTENT_EXTRA_DATA column of the MatrixCursor. However, when in the receiving activity I call getIntent().getSerializableExtra(SearchManager.EXTRA_DATA_KEY), the returned object is of type String and I cannot cast it into the original object class. I tried making a parcelable wrapper for my object that calls out.writeSerializable(...) and use that instead but the same thing happened. The string that is returned is like a generic Object toString(), i.e. com.foo.yak.MyAwesomeClass@4350058, so I'm assuming that toString() is being called somewhere where I have no control. Hopefully I'm just missing something simple. Thanks for the help! • Protect individual sites on Ubuntu/Apache server

  Hi,?? I need to set up a Apache server configuration for some client sites that run under the same Ubuntu 9.10 machine. All sites are allowed to run PHP, Python and Ruby on Rails. I do not control the source code of these sites and so I need to set up a filter in order to prevent one user to reach files on another users account.?? If I run a script to list files in "/" from one account, I can browse some files and directories in the actual server root. I want to set the root for each account to /var/usersite.com/www/ instead so that listing files in "/" shows the files in the client's root. ??How is this most easily configured??? • What's the deal with NTFS tags in windows 7

  So back in the days of 'longhorn' there was this WinFS idea which was both cool looking and scary looking. Then it seemed to disappear, but we were told that many of the concepts would be rolled into Vista. Then maybe Win7. Anyway, nowadays if you look at a win7 Explorer window, you can have columns that have a lot of tag-based info about a file (right click on column header-more...), including one called "tags". Is this something in NTFS that can be modified per-file somehow? Is its GUI hiding, or is this something that's infinitely-delayed, or is it just a figment of my imagination? Sure would be nice to be able to get around the NTFS path 256 character limit for searches, and to filter file folders per Excel 2007.

  I looked around and decided to use a CSS approach rather than rely on JS... I figure the kind of corporate users stuck with IE6 might also have JS disabled by IT departments. I commented out all the rest of the page so it is literally that one and still no luck. I removed the default.css stylesheet and still no difference. EDIT: I now got it working, using the .htc method, loading that file in a conditional IE6 test block. It turned out the problem I was having was that Windows 7 had 'locked' the file (I don't even know what this means) and this blocked IE from loading/using it.

• How can I get a list of default documents in IIS using PowerShell?

  I'm managing a Server Core machine and trying to do everything in PowerShell, which is fun. I need a list of the default documents. From other websites, I've found out how to set and remove them, using both xxx-WebConfiguration and xxx-WebConfigurationProperty.
