• Apache2 Segfault - need help interpreting this coredump (suspect cause is memcache / php session related)

  Three Apache2 web servers running a PHP 5.2.3 web site. We're using Memcache to cache rendered pages but also as the storage engine of the PHP Sessions. At peak traffic times we're getting Apache segmentation faults on all three web servers and all HTTPD child processes segfault. My gut tells me that the increased Memcache traffic is stopping PHP sessions from being created or cleaned up and thus the processes die. • I need advice about iscsi + zfs(or ntfs) + windows 2008 clustering

  I want to setup a storage farm with iSCSI. I have 2 cluster node machine, 1 iscsi target machine that has 8TB installed as RAID 10. The capacity is now 8TB, but I'll upgrade the capacity in future. Let's say, I installed clusters as file server, and I connected these servers to iscsi target, then I shared 8TB capacity as an only folder to the windows users. Users now see only a folder whose capacity is 8TB. But if I want to add another 8TB to expand the main capacity, the users must not see the second folder for this new 8 TB. The users must see only a folder as before, but this time this folder's capacity expanded to 16TB. And so on, if I add another 8TB, the users must deal with only a folder. For this purpose, I've learnt that ZFS can expand its size without a problem. So if I use ZFS as a file system on iSCSI luns, how can the cluster machines see the ZFS. Because the cluster machines have windows 2008. Is there another way to expand the size of shared folder without a problem? Does ntfs support it?

I've edited my VirtualHost to include the following vaiations: (I've tried both RequestHeader and Header, add and set in all of these cases) RequestHeader set X-test_url "Test" or <Directory /> RequestHeader set X-test_url "Test" </Directory> or <Location ~ "/*" > RequestHeader set X-test_url "Test" </Location> It's hard to explain how I've gotten to this point, but I have to get this done in Apache. • Need a VM for running a PHP Sandbox

  I am working on Web application honeypot. It collects PHP files it receives (as part of an RFI attack) and runs them in order to return the result back to the attacker. The aim is to coax the bad guy into going further into his attack. Based on the answers to my SO question, I am looking at using VMs for running the PHP Sandbox. The honeypot itself consists of Python code and will be running in a Linux environment (preferably Ubuntu-like). These are some of the requirements: The VM should be a light weight as possible. We are going to distribute the code around and many people are going to use the VM along with the Python based honeypot. So, the installation and configuration should not be too difficult. The guest system would also be Linux as we are going to distribute the VM image around. It should be possible for the Python code outside to talk to the guest system. It would be passing on the PHP file to the guest system and will get the output result from it. It should be possible to automate the initial configuration of the VM (such as allocation of RAM etc.) I would like to randomize these settings in order to make the sandbox less 'fingerprintable' I have looked at OpenVZ and KVM so far. Are there any other VMs that I might look at? What do you recommend?

  Hi folks, i'm trying to rip a CD using Windows Media Player 11 on XP ... and the destination folder is in the ALBUM NAME. Now, i can't see HOW it can rip to a new folder, named after the album. As far as I can tell, it's named by the Artist Name .. which sorta sucks for me. So, is there a way I can rip a CD with WMP11 that puts the songs into a new/existing folder which is the name of the Album? cheers :)

• Need help merging 2 AHK scripts

  i have two functioning scripts that i want to merge into a single AHK File. My problem is that when i combine both scripts, the second script doesnt function or causes an error on script 1. Either way, script 2 ist not functioning at all. Here are some facts: Script 1 = a simple menu script where i want to assign hotkeys to. Script 2 = A small launcher script from a user named Tertius in autohotkey forum. Can someone please look at both codes and help me merge this? • Need help making an ODBC MySQL Connection

  Short Version: How do I connect from PowerShell to an ODBC 5.1 MySQL Driver? I can't seem to find any connection strings that accurately have a "Provider" field for this particular instance. (See bottom of this question for examples/errors) ===== Long Version: I'm not a server guy, and I've been handed the task of setting up PowerGadgets on our network. I have a MySQL server running on a Linux box, that is configured for remote access and has a user defined for remote access as well. On my windows desktop PC, I have PowerGadgets installed. I installed the MySQL ODBC 5.1 connector, and went to Control Panel Data Sources and set up a User DSN connection to the database. The connection, user, and pass seem to be correct because it lists the tables of the database in my windows control panel. Where I'm running into trouble is in 3 places in PowerGadgets: When selecting a data source, I can select "SQL Server". Inputting the servers IP address does not work and I can't get this option to work at all. When selecting a data source, I can select "OleDB". This screen has a wizard on it, that appears to populate all the correct information (including database table names!) for me. "Test Connection" runs great. But if I try to complete the wizard, I get the error "The .NET Framework data provider for OLEDB does not support the MS Ole DB provider for ODBC Drivers." When selecting a data source, I can select "ODBC". This screen does not have a wizard and I cannot figure out a "connection string" that works. Typically it will respond with the error "The field 'Provider' is missing". Googling ODBC connection strings doesn't reveal any examples with a "provider" field and have no idea what to put in here. The connection string (for #2) above contains "SQLOLEDB" as a provider, and upon inputting that value into this connection string I get the same connection error that #2 gets. I believe I can solve my problems by figuring out a connection string for #3 but don't know where to get started. (PowerGadgets also allows for PowerShell support but I believe I will run into the same problem there) == Here's my current PowerShell connection that doesn't work: invoke-sql -connection "Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver};Initial Catalog=hq_live;Data Source=HQDB" -sql "Select * FROM accounts" Spits back the error: "Invoke-Sql : An OLE DB Provider was not specified in the ConnectionString. • Need to link WP Blog with Rails App on Heroku

  I have a client who wants to migrate his Rails app to Heroku. However the client also has a blog associated with his domain that runs on WordPress. Currently, the WordPress blog is running happily alongside the Rails app, but once we migrate to Heroku, that clearly won't be possible. The url for the app is like http://mydomain.com, and the url for the blog is like http://mydomain/blog. I realize that the best long-term solution is to redo the blog in a Rails format like Toto or Jekyll. But in the short term, what is the best way to continue hosting the WP blog where it is (or somewhere) but use Heroku to run the app? The client doesn't want the blog to be on a subdomain, but to remain at mydomain/blog for SEO reasons and also since there is traffic to the blog. I have two ideas: Use rack_rewrite or refraction (or just a regular old 301 and Apache mod_rewrite) on the old (non-Heroku) server to redirect the main url from the old site to Heroku. In this case, I can just leave the Wordpress blog running happily where it is. I think?? Is there a reason to choose one of those options (rack_rewrite, refraction, or mod_rewrite) over the others if I do it this way? Switch the DNS info to point to the Heroku site, and then use a 301 redirect from the blog to the old site. But then I'll have to get the old (non-Heroku) site on a subdomain and use some kind of rewrite rules anyway so it looks like it isn't a subdomain. Are either of these approaches preferable, or is there another way to do it that's easier that I'm missing?

I want to re-direct STDIN and STDOUT from this script to two named pipes for interaction with another program. E.g.: SCRIPT_STDIN pipe1 SCRIPT_STDOUT < pipe2 Here is the flow I'm trying to accomplish: [Application] - Launches helper script, writes to helpers STDIN, reads from helpers STDOUT (example: STDIN:username,password; STDOUT:LOGIN_OK) [Helper Script] - Reads STDIN (data from app), forwards to PIPE1; reads from PIPE2, writes that back to the app on STDOUT [Other Process] - Reads from PIPE1 input, processes and returns results to PIPE2 The cat command can almost do what I want. If there were an option to copy STDIN to STDERR I could make cat do this with a command (assuming the fictitious option -e echos to STDERR rather than STDOUT): cat -e PIPE2 2PIPE1 (read from PIPE2 and write it to STDOUT, copy input, normally going to STDERR to PIPE1)

  I just installed xampp on my mac os x. When I tried start mysql it display a message that mysql is already running on this computer. In order to start mysql stop first mysql. • phpmyadmin on lighttpd gives me a 403 forbidden need help

  Whats the problem: When I goto //localhost/phpmyadmin I get what I would get if I did //localhost/, I'm using both http: and https:. What did I do, that changed it: I simply reinstalled lighttpd. What I have tried: Disabling and re-enabling 50-phpmyadmin.conf, Now I get a "403 - Forbidden" instead. When I goto /phpmyadmin/setup it asks me for a login, Not a clue what it is. Now I'm waiting for someone to help. :) Thanks to anyone with any answers. Latest Status: Not working, giving me a "403 - Forbidden".

• I need to embed vimeo or some other html in my rails app
