• capistrano put() and upload() both failing

  With capistrano, I am deploying a Rails application from Mac OS X 10.5 to CentOS 5.2 Note that deploy.rb and the server environment have not changed in over a year. There is a task within our deploy.rb file called upload: put(File.read( file ),"#{shared_path}/#{filename}", :via => :scp) This fails each and every time with the following exception: No such file or directory - /srv/ourapp/releases/20100104194410/config/database.yml My local copy of config/database.yml is failing to upload properly. I've verified it's not our internet connection, as this happens on three different connections and two different systems. I've also tried to swap out put() for upload() but get the same result; also, dropping :via = :scp, and/or trying to force :sftp instead similarly fails. Relevant info: $ cap -V Capistrano v2.5.10 $ ruby -v ruby 1.8.7 (2008-08-11 patchlevel 72) [i686-darwin9.6.0]

• Counting problem: possible sudoko tables?

  Hi, I'm working on a sudoko solver. my method is using a game tree and explore possible permutations for each set of digits by DFS Algorithm. in order to analyzing problem, i want to know what is the count of possible valid and invalid sudoko tables? - a 9*9 table that have 9 one, 9 two, ... , 9 nine. (this isn't exact duplicate by this question) my solution is: 1- First select 9 cells for 1s: (*) 2- and like (1) for other digits (each time, 9 cells will be deleted from remaining available cells): C(81-9,9) , C(81-9*2,9) .... = 3- finally multiply the result by 9! (permutation of 123456789 in (*)) this is not equal to accepted answer of this question but problems are equivalent. what did i do wrong?

• Populating fields, input types etc using JSON

  I have a form that works as follows.. Server request builds XML of the data on server side and sends xml, XSL stylesheet then transforms the XML data into the plain html page distributing the data to the relevant/desired locations of the form on the page. Person can view page and edit the populated form, submit back to DB. I think JSON is more suitable for this from what I have read. The form itself is split into 3 areas, for me this is 3 maps/associative arrays etc each with a name related to the id of an input element etc. The problem for me comes with having the JSON sent to the page, what should I do with it next in order to achieve the same result as I currently get with XML and XSL.   Hello, I have a little COM+ component as a service on a remote server. What is the best way to do this?? The server is Windows 2003 Enterprise, the service is a .NET component wraped as COM+ (I know that I don´t have to do it that way, but the purpose is to itegrate a legacy App with a .NET component) The purpose of this is just to test that the .NET COM+ Component works. • concatenating strings from two different rows in a table

  Hello, We are attempting to rework the SQL in a product. The product stores XML in a table as follows: XML_STORAGE - UID IDENTITY - PARENT_ID INTEGER - SEQ INTEGER - XML VARCHAR(3800) The current way of doing this is as follows: Retrieve all ROWS for PARENT_ID = n. Then go over the fetched rows in the code and concatenate the XML strings into one large XML before parsing. The SEQ column is used to ORDER the result so the XML strings can be concatenated properly. Hopefully that is clear. What we are attempting to do is rework this so we can use a SQL variant to retrieve the whole string and just fetch one row back from DB2. Is there a DB2 function that will allow us to concatenate the string in all of these rows into one large string in the resultset. How would such a SQL look. Please let me know.   Generally, I am bulding dynamic SQL statement that is executing using sp_executsql like this: EXEC sp_executesql @TempSQLStatement I need to insert the return result row set in something (table variable or temporary table), but I am getting the following error: Msg 208, Level 16, State 0, Line 1746 Invalid object name '#TempTable'. after executing this: INSERT INTO #TempTable EXEC sp_executesql @TempSQLStatement From what I have read, I believe the issue is caused because I am not specifying the columns of the temporary table, but I am not able to do this because the return columns count varies. I have read that I can use global temporary tables, but I have done this before and wonder is there an other way to do that.

• JAXB appending unneeded namespace declarations to tags

  I'm implementing a homebrew subprotocol of XMPP, and i'm using combination of StAX and JAXB for parsing/marshalling mesages. And when I marshall a message I end up with loads of unneded namespace declarations: <ns2:auth xmlns:ns2="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:ilf-auth" xmlns:ns4="ilf:iq:experiment:power" xmlns:ns3="ilf:iq:experiment:init" xmlns:ns5="ilf:iq:experiment:values" xmlns:ns6="ilf:iq:experiment:result" xmlns:ns7="ilf:iq:experiment:stop" xmlns:ns8="ilf:iq:experiment:end"> compton@ilf</ns2:auth> instead of: <ns:auth xmlns:ns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:ilf-auth>compton@ilf</ns:auth> Is there any way to turn that of? All these namespaces are used in different messages that get marshalled/unmarshalled by JAXB, but every message uses one namespace. PS. I am not an XML expert please dont rant me if I did some stupid mistake ;)

  Hi folks, First of all, thanks for you time reading my question. I created my own Qt Widget (parent of QWidget) and has a QImage "inside" to manipulate images. The problem I have is the following: when I promote the content of a QScrollArea to my widget, the scroll features doesn't works; I haven't any scroll bar or I can't see any result when I use the method 'ensureVisible(..)'. • Google Map API V3 geocoder not showing the correct place

  I am upgrading my codes from Google Map API V2 to V3. In V2, I used GlocalSearch to get the latitude and longitude for the given address. In V3, I saw google.maps.Geocoder() and try to get the similar detail. However, the lat & long given by the V3 function is not accurate.   Hi, Imagine the obvious model of employees and departments, where each employee must refer to a single department, and each department may have none to many employees. For Employee I have a pointer to Department, and I set its value to the address of the object of the relevant Department. When I try to save the Employee I get an error: 2010-04-07 10:05:22.491 CoreData2[1112:207] * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '* -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: attempt to insert nil value (key: Department)' I tried, just for testing, to make the reference from Employee to Department optional, but I get the same result. When the compilation is done I should launch upon to 4 different Exec tasks depending on wherever the compilation was successful or not. I know how to do that with MSBuild alone using targets with conditions using the var $(BuildBreak) because I can do build solution - check result - exec task - build ... but I don't know how to do that with the TFS extensions ... any help will be very appreciated.   Hi guys, I have a table: Category with some sort of categories category1 category2 category3 I have another table Subcategory which has a fk to Category. So, each category1 can have subcategoryB, subcategoryA, subcategoryZ. Well... i've made two repeaters. The first one is binded to a linq data source which takes the categories from the parent table. The children repeater is binded to that foreign key like: DataSource='<%# Eval("Subcategories_1s") %' So the result is: category1 subcategoryB subcategoryA subcategoryZ category2 etc. Well, the strange question is: how can i order the subcategories alphabetically? If i'd have binded the children repeater to a linq it would be easy. But in this case...?

One of them: [000da49c] open("./rabbit.o", O_RDONLY) = 3 But disassembled instruction at this address of prog doesn't call any syscall (hte editor): da49c ! mov r7, ip What is wrong? How can I find the places of system calls of my program? P.S. Architecture of my device doesn't support GDB-command catch syscall.

  When using the usual formulas to calculate intersection between two 2D segments, ie here, if you round the result to an integer, you get non-symmetric results. That is, sometimes, due to rounding errors, I get that intersection(A,B)!=intersection(B,A). The best solution is to keep working with floats, and compare the results up to a certain precision. However, I must round the results to integers after calculating the intersection, I cannot keep working with floats. My best solution so far was to use some full order on the segments in the plane, and have intersection to always compare the smaller segment to the larger segment. Is there a better method? Am I missing something?

  Hi, In order to speed up some post-processing shaders I'm using, I need to perform these operations on a framebuffer that is smaller in size than the actual window (about 1/4th or more). Most of the effects I want to optimize are simple blurring operations that could be replaced (for a large part) by smaller kernel and bilinear filtering. Thus, I need to create a copy of the current FBO into another one. However, I couldn't find anything, that works, on how to do this. I've tried using glBlitframebufferEXT and rendering a fullscreen quad into the other framebuffer, but both paths result in a black texture as output. How do I go about solving this problem?
