  Hi, I have created jar file which includes my .class , manifest file and dependency jar files like jar cfmv custadvicejar.jar mymanifest.txt Gchreportsautomation Bean Utils jxl.jar ojdbc14.jar where custadvicejar.jar - is my jar file name mymanifest.txt contains Main-Class: Gchreportsautomation.GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO "Gchreportsautomation" is the package name contains "GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class" [This class is my starting point of my application] Gchreportsautomation/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class "Bean" is the package name contains "GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class" Bean/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class "Utils" is the package name contains "Utils.class" Utils/ Utils.class and jxl.jar and ojdbc14.jar are jar files required for my application which i kept in parent directory of the .class files like D:\Excalcreation /Gchreportsautomation/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_DAO.class /Bean/ GCH_Home_Loan_Data_Cust_Advice_Bean.class /Utils/ Utils.class /jxl.jar /ojdbc.jar while running the application i got error like Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jxl.format.CellFormat i know this is because of class-path error. how to rectify it. But the main problem now is when we select any image it must flip and then i have to display the detail of that image... and when clicked on detail it must flip again and the same image must get displayed...   I'm new to ubuntu, and might have had a couple of false starts updating ruby / rails.   Is it possible to read the GUID from the Assembly without actually loading it in the current App Domain. Normally Assembly.Load loads the DLL into the app domain. I just want to read the value. The description of the GUID is 'The following GUID is for the ID of the typelib ' if this project is exposed to COM <Assembly: Guid("DEDDE61CD-928E-4ACD-8C25-3B8577284819")> The main thing is I don't want to lock the file so that there are no errors 'Another process is accessing the file' error.

  I am working on a basic shell interpreter to familiarize myself with Rust. • How can I pause a BackgroundWorker? Or something similar...

  I was using a BackgroundWorker to download some web sites by calling WebClient.DownloadString inside a loop. I wanted the option for the user to cancel in the middle of downloading stuff, so I called CancelAsync whenever I found that CancellationPending was on in the middle of the loop. But now I noticed that the function DownloadString kinda freezes sometimes, so I decided to use DownloadStringAsync instead (all this inside the other thread created with BackgroundWorker). An since and don't want to rewrite my whole code by having to exit the loop and the function after calling DownloadStringAsync, I made a while loop right after calling it that does nothing but checks for a variable bool Stop that I turn true either when the DownloadStringCompleted event handler is called or when the user request to cancel the operation. Now, the weird thing is that it works fine on the debug version, but on the release one, the program freezes in the while loop like if it were the main thread.

  I've been programming in Asp.Net MVC for quite some time now and to expand a little bit beyond the .Net world I've recently began learning Python and Django. I am enjoying Django but one thing I am missing from Asp.Net MVC is the automatic routing from my urls to my controller actions. In Asp.Net MVC I can build much of my application using this single default route: routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = "" } // Parameter defaults ); In Django I've found myself adding an entry to urls.py for each view that I want to expose which leads to a lot more url patterns than I've become used to in Asp.Net MVC. Is there a way to create a single url pattern in Django that will handle "[Application]/view/[params]" in a way similar to Asp.Net MVC? Perhaps at the main web site level?

• CherryPy configuration tools.staticdir.root problem

  Hi there, How can I make my static-file root directories relative to my application root folder (instead of a hard-coded path)? In accordance with CP instructions (http://www.cherrypy.org/wiki/StaticContent) I have tried the following in my configuration file: tree.cpapp = cherrypy.Application(cpapp.Root()) tools.staticdir.root = cpapp.current_dir but when I run cherrpy.quickstart(rootclass, script_name='/', config=config_file) I get the following error builtins.ValueError: ("Config error in section: 'global', option: 'tree.cpapp', value: 'cherrypy.Application(cpapp.Root())'. Config values must be valid Python.", 'TypeError', ("unrepr could not resolve the name 'cpapp'",)) I know I can do configuration from within the main.py file just before quickstart is called (eg. using os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(file))), but I prefer using the idea of a separate configuration file if possible. Any help would be appreciated (in case it is relevant, I am using CP 3.2 with Python 3.1) TIA Alan

• IOKit header assert.h gone? [answered]

  I want to get the hardware address of my mac's ethernet card. In all samples I saw in include on IOKit/assert.h . Which doesn't seem to exist on my system. GCC throws an error saying he doesn't know the type IOEthernetAddress. Is assert.h necessary for my task? It would be great if someone coud give me a working sample. • android activity class does not exists?

  I have been developing a project in eclipse for an android app. An error which i frequently get is that of- activity class does not exist. But when i just save the manifest file once again the error vanishes and the program runs correctly. Why then do i get the same error again and again. ? • UrlHelper and ViewContext inside an Authorization Attribute

  I have a scenario that I haven't been able to solve: I'm toying around with creating my own custom authorization attribute for mvc. The main bit of functionality I would like to add is to have the ability to change where the user gets redirected if they are not in a certain role. I don't mind that the system sends them back to the login page if they're not authenticated, but I would like to choose where to send them if they are authenticated but not allowed to access that action method. Here's is what I would like to do: public class CustomAuthorizeAttribute : AuthorizeAttribute { public string Action; public string Controller; protected override bool AuthorizeCore(System.Web.HttpContextBase httpContext) { // if User is authenticated but not in the correct role string url = Url.Action(this.Action, this.Controller); httpContext.Response.Redirect(url); } } And as an added bonus I would like to have access to ViewContext and TempData before I do the redirect. • Catch database exception in Kohana

  I'm using Kohana 2. I would like to catch a database exception to prevent an error page when no connection to the server can be established. The error displayed is system/libraries/drivers/Database/Mysql.php [61]: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 110 The database server is not reachable at all at this point. I'm doing this from a model. I tried both public function __construct() { // load database library into $this->db try { parent::__construct(); } catch (Exception $e) { die('Database error occured'); } } as well as try { $hoststatus = $this->db->query('SELECT x FROM y WHERE z;'); } catch (Exception $e) { die('Database error occured'); } ...but none of them seemed to work. • Linking to non-home panel in JQTouch site

  I'm trying to create a link from an external site that arrives at a particular, internal panel on a JQTouch site I'm building. However the browser always opens the home panel of the JQT site no matter what anchor tag I use in the link. e.g. If I try to link to the User Interface panel in the official JQTouch demo I use http://www.jqtouch.com/preview/demos/main/#ui but the home panel shows in the browser and not the sub-panel I requested. Any suggestions would be very welcome. I have control of the both the linked and linking sites so can tweak code is necessary. Thanks

• VS2010 profiler/leak detection

  Anyone know of a profiler and leak detector that will work with VS2010 code? Preferably one that runs on Win7. I've searched here and in google. I've found one leak detector that works (Memory Validator) but I'm not too impressed. For one thing it shows a bunch of menu leaks and stuff which I'm fairly confident are not real. I also tried GlowCode but it's JUST a profiler and refuses to install on win7. I used to use AQtime. It had everything I needed, memory/resource leak detection, profiling various things, static analysis, etc. Unfortunately it gives bogus results now. My main immediate issue is that VS2010 is saying there are leaks in a program that had none in VS2005. I'm almost certain it's false positives but I can't seem to find a good tool to verify this. Memory Validator doesn't show the same ones and the reporting of leaks from VS doesn't seem rational.

  hi guys, suppose i have one column in mysql database which is stated last time one equipment is up in h:i:s format (ex: 00:05:11) or 1d21h, means that the equipment is on since 5 min before, what is the best method i can convert this to unix timestamp, say if using php script how? or direct convert last unix timestamp using mysql function query. actually, i want to calculate for start time for this equipment uptime in unix timestamp where i have one column in mysql startcapture that will be deducted with last column to get start time. so starttime = startcapture - last (this last time that has to convert to unix timestamp based on now() - h:i:s ). but the problem is sometimes the format change from h:i:s to ex: 1d22h, if h:i:s means the equipment is up since ex: 00:05:11 min before and if 1d22h means the equipment already up 1 day 22 hours before. so the main things here is to convert last column to appropriate unix timestamp. please help guys, asap.

• Display content in folder like Wordpress displays Themes

  Hi, I’ve throughout the last couple of years downloaded a lot of templates for websites and these are now starting to become chaotic in the different folders so I’m starting to get a overview of the different templates. Regarding to this I was thinking about the way that WordPress displays the different themes installed in the themes folder. It provides a small overview (thumbnail) of the theme and a possibility to preview the theme. Of cause, I don’t need or want such a advanced system as Wordpress but I’m attractive to the idea of displaying my templates in the same kind of manner and without using a Database. I’ve played around with different directory management scripts and tools for PHP but the best result I’ve got so fare is just to display the different content in the different folders but not create a preview which in each preview it will use the webpage itself and it’s stylesheets, images, etc. Does anyone have an idea how to create such a script or have a link to a already existing script. Of cause is all the main pages named index.htm / .html Sincere Mestika

  I'm trying to develop a simple application that will read some files, targeted for Windows CE. For this I'm using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++ 3. This program(that is for console) will be called like this: /Storage Card/Test coms file.cmss As you can see, file.cmss is the first argument, but on my main I have a condition to show the help(the normal, how to use the program) if the arguments are smaller than 2: if(argc < 2) { showhelp(); return 0; } But when I execute the program on the command-line of Windows CE(using all the necessary arguments) I got the showHelp() content. Then I've checked all the code, but it's entirelly correct. But I think that eVC++ don't use argc and argv[] for arguments, then I want some help on how to determine the arguments on it.

• Command$ value disappears

  I have a VB6 app. I am trying to figure out what command line parameters got passed into the application. If I type in ? Command$ into the Immediate window, it prints out the command line params fine. Same, if I place Command$ into the Watch window. However, if I assign the Command$ function to a string: Dim s as string s = Command$ the s variable will be empty. What am I missing here? I should mention that the code in question is located not in the main form, but in a DLL 2 levels down (e.g. the form calls DLL1, then DLL1 calls DLL2).
