• WAMP - phpMyAdmin is loading a blank browser (Firefox)

  I recently uninstalled an older version of WAMP then installed the latest version. The link to the localhost displays the WAMPSERVER home page successfully. However, the http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ returns only a blank browser - it displays nothing. localhost/sqlitemanager/ returns a Forbidden You don't have permission to access /sqlitemanager/ on this server. This seems to be a 403 forbidden error I've looked everywhere for an answer to this. Help please

We need to set issue linking in a manner that my task start time depends on other colleague's issue and I can not start until he resolves his issue... I goolged and found that this kind of thing is integrated in newer versions :/ Maybe we need some plugin, make some custom field, enable something in administration part... • Xinerama 3 displays can't have main display in the middle

  I have 3 monitors running on 2 cards, they are all working as 3 seperate displays, however, if i move the main display from the left (0,0) i cannot drag to the left window as the mouse goes crazy and crashes my system (i have to restart x) I would much prefer my main display to be in the centre. These must be installed manually for use by vSphere CLI: UUID 0.03 or newer I tried to do sudo yum install uuid-perl and also sudo yum install perl-SOAP-Lite perl-Data-Dump perl-Class-MethodMaker perl-Crypt-SSLeay perl-libxml-perl perl-XML-LibXML-Common but this doesn't help. What else can I try to do?

  I am trying to synchronize the content of the directory my_dir/ from /home to /backup. This directory contains a file which name has a double quote in it, such as to"to. Here is my rsync command: rsync -Cazh /home/my_dir/ /backup/my_dir/ And I get the following message: rsync: mkstemp "/backup/my_dir/.to"to.d93PZr" failed: Invalid argument (22) For info, rsync works well when the synchronized filenames contain single quote, parenthesis and space. Thus, why is it bugging with a double quote? Thanks for any help.

  I have tried this shell script on a SUSE 10 server, kernel 2.6.16.60, ext3 filesystem the script has problem like this: cat file | awk '{print $1" "$2" "$3}' | sort -n > result the file's size is about 3.2G, and I get such error message: File size limit exceeded in this shell, ulimit -f is unlimited after I change script into this cat file | awk '{print $1" "$2" "$3}' >tmp sort -n tmp > result the problem is gone. I don't know why, can anyone help me with an explanation?

• Safe to disable compile options for Nginx (when used only as reverse proxy/cache)

  I have read that I can do this to make a smaller footprint Nginx when used as static content cache/reverse proxy: --without-mail_pop3_module --without-mail_imap_module --without-mail_smtp_module What other options are safe to disable? SSI, FastCGI? Others? The only requirements for the reverse proxy is to be able to do https and gzip compression. Will disabling all the module really help with footprint and/or performance?

  I know how to get connected to a Windows share easy enough, and I've read how to change the fstab file to get it to mount at boot. The real question here is...can I create a few shortcuts on a common user desktop so that regardless of who logs into Ubuntu machine they can open that shortcut and it will open the Windows share? I would also need to allow AD credentials during login, so a link to that will help as well, but I'm sure I can search google for that part.
