  I'm a total novice at mod rewrite so I'll try and present my question as clearly as possible: I'm trying to create a url redirect of the following (static) affiliate url that can append it self to any product links after using a query string: affiliate url: hxxp://clk.affilite.com/fs-bin/click?id=aFb*BBBBBpQ&subid=&offerid=9999.2&type=5&tmpid=9999&RD_PARM1= product url: hxxp:// example.domain.com What I want to achieve is redirecting the affiliate code as below and being able to add dynamic product urls after as the following examples show: rewritten affiliate url: hxxp://domain.com/go affiliate url + product url: hxxp://domain.com/go?=http://example.domain.com redirects to: hxxp://clk.affilite.com/fs-bin/click?id=aFb*BBBBBpQ&subid=&offerid=9999.2&type=5&tmpid=9999&RD_PARM1=http://example.domain.com

• Nginix upstream with socket seems filter some meta contents?

  I have a Rails3 app in the backend, served by ruby server Thin.   How to get a concurrent method? In my case, the library would be called from a program to get a value to each argument str --in method Get()--. When it's used Get() then it assigns a variable from type bytes.Buffer which it will have the value to return. The returned values --when it been concurrently called-- will be stored into a database or a file and it doesn't matter that its output been of FIFO way (from method). type test struct { foo uint8 bar uint8 } func NewTest(arg1 string) (*test, os.Error) {...} func (self *test) Get(str string) ([]byte, os.Error) { var format bytes.Buffer ... } I think that all code inner of method Get() should be put inner of go func() {...}(), and then to use a channel. Would there be a problem if it's called another method from Get()? Or would it also has to be concurrent?

• jquery replaceWith implications

  I am using replaceWith for input type=file to handle changes of the file the user wants to upload. I have this code: $('#add_cv_input').change(function() { // here is some code else { alert('put one of this: pdf doc docx'); $("#add_cv_input").replaceWith('<input id="add_cv_input" type="file"/>'); } }); now the problem is that this jquery changed event does not being called after the first time that the user had uploaded the wrong extension. I don't have a clue why this is happening. Everything works fine if at the first time the user uploads a valid extension and then he changes it to other valid extension.

• How can I search based on distance with the Google Maps API?

  So here's the issue... I have a field where users can type in their address (which will be GeoCoded via Google Maps API). I have several addresses of widgets in my database (saved as address.. again can easily be geocoded). What I need is for the user to type in their address and for a list of my widgets to come up based on distance from their address. I have THOUSANDS of addresses for my widgets and users have an infinite number of addresses obviously. Any ideas? Thanks.

I never see any SIP traffic from GoTalk to my asterisk server trying to connect the call. Seems I'm not registering correctly for incoming calls because GoTalk aren't sending them to me. I am correct in using the GoTalk username 09xxxxxx as the DID, aren't I ? I've tried using my phone number but it makes no difference.

  I have a web form that has 2 radio buttons, depending on which one is clicked it displays a hidden element This works fine in all browsers except for IE6, which, after I click on the radio button, I have to click again (anywhere on the window) and then the element is displayed...has anyone had behavior like this before? I tried to not use jQuery and do straight getElementById() but I get the same behavior... • visual studio 2008 keyboard gets locked when editing source controlled files

  Hi, I am facing a strange issue with editing source controlled files (especially aspx files) using visual studio 2008. when I check out and edit the file, I can edit fine for few seconds and after that keyboard gets locked and I can't type anything (it doesn't affect the files not added to source control). as soon it is locked, if I try to type, the focus shifts to solution explorer and other windows and sometimes it freezes and doesn't respond at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling visual studio, reinstalling the source control plug-in. none of it worked. not sure if it is my machine or my profile. Please help if you have any clues. I can't see any other solution for this except rebuilding the machine Thanks, Rama

  I'm trying to write a windows service. It installs fine, but fails when I run it with the following exception. I've searched for the string "MyNewProgramService", but I can't find any conversions that would throw this error. I've also added try/catch blocks to a bunch of code with custom exception handling without finding where this exception is occuring. I'm thinking it's somewhere in the auto-generated configuartion/setup code. Any ideas? • Mongoose Not Creating Indexes

  I have been trying all afternoon to get my node.js application to create MongoDB indexes properly. I am using the Mongoose ODM and in my schema definition below I have the username field set to a unique index. The collection and document all get created properly, it's just the indexes that aren't working. All the documentation says that the ensureIndex command should be run at startup to create any indexes, but none are being made. I'm using MongoLab for hosting if that matters. I have also repeatedly dropped the collection. • Call an action from another controller

  I have two different objects: contracts, and task orders. My requirements specify that in order to view the Details for either object, the Url should be "http://.../Contract/Details" or "http://.../TaskOrder/Details" depending on which type. They are both very similar and the details pages are almost identical, so I made a class that can either be a contract or a task order, and has a variable "objectTypeID" that says which type it is. I wrote the action "Details" in the task order controller, but now I want to call that from the contract controller instead of recopying the code. So is there any way to have the url still say ".../Contract/Details" but call the action in the TaskOrder controller instead? I tried using TaskOrderController TOController = new TaskOrderController(); TOController.Details(id); This would have worked except that I can't use the HttpContext.Session anymore, which I used several times in the action.

  I tried the validation example code for web api on the latest mvc 4 download and I'm getting some errors. Does anyone have an updated example of the ValidationActionFilter class.   I have a slight problem with .htaccess redirect. I have a dynamic site with 2 levels of variables - content="type -(alpha)" and ID="number" but this is very not seo friendly what I really would like to create is a rewrite rule that generates a "friendly" url for serach engines & users alike. Very much like WordPress does. Each ID is already unique (obviously) and on creation is creating a unique "permalink" field so for example ID=1 has a "permalink field" as "2009/10/27/page title" and ID=100 would be "2010/10/27 page title". I would like folder/wall.php?content=type&ID=number to redirect to folder/permalink.php/html/htm (don't mind a non dynamic extension) Any clues? - this is not right (I know) but it also "breaks" my css file RewriteEngine On RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*)/ wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2 RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*) wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2
