Positioning Javascript Tag on HTML Page

I'm growing frustrated in positioning my javascript date in the center of my html page. Everything else is centered but the javascript date. Composing adaptors in Boost::range

I started playing with Boost::Range in order to have a pipeline of lazy transforms in C++]1. My problem now is how to split a pipeline in smaller parts. How to get attributes from both relative and absolute positioning

I have a footer that i want to attach to the bottom of the page using bottom:0px. However, I also want to center it by using margin-left:auto; and margin-right:auto;. Effectively, this will stick the footer to the bottom of the page while keeping it centered vertically. Unfortunately, these cannot be used together as bottom:0px requires position:relative while margin-left:auto and margin-right:auto require position:absolute. How can I get both of these attributes onto the same div without creating a container? If not possible, what is a clean way of getting both these attributes? I have a multi lan port box that install ubuntu server 11.10. My problem was, each subnet machine can't ping each other. for example. 192.168.11.101 can't ping 192.168.21.101 but can ping 192.168.128.1 192.168.31.101 can't ping 192.168.21.101 but can ping 192.168.128.1 I am also try to using route add -net 192.168.11.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.11.1 (and also 192.168.21.0/192.168.31.0) at this multi-lan-port machine. But still won't work. Does anyone can help ? Thanks.

Ubuntu 11.04 VM shows a black screen in VMware Player

I have a Ubuntu Server 11.04 64 bit VM running on VMware Player 3.1.4 that only shows a black screen. No matter what I try, the screen remains black. The VM has worked the first time. When I reset the machine, it shows the VMware loader and a flickering _ for about a second. Then the screen turns black again. VM settings: Memory: 512MB Processors: 1 HD: 20GB CD: auto detect Floppy: auto detect Network adapter: NAT USB controller: present soundcard: auto detect printer: present display: auto detect I just created a fresh VM and the same happens, so it seems that the problem is consistent.

Getting Perl DBD::mysql working on OS X 10.7?

I can't seem to get Perl & MySQL to talk to each other on OS X 10.7 Lion. I did all the installs by the book, I used Oracle's PKG installer for the latest MySQL Community Server, and I installed DBI and DBD::mysql via CPAN. There were not problems at all during the install, but, when I try to USE DBD::mysql to connect to my local DB server I get the following error: install_driver(mysql) failed: Can't load '/Library/Perl/5.12/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.bundle' for module DBD::mysql: dlopen(/Library/Perl/5.12/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.bundle, 1): Library not loaded: /usr/local/mysql/lib/libmysqlclient.16.dylib Referenced from: /Library/Perl/5.12/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.bundle Reason: image not found at /System/Library/Perl/5.12/darwin-thread-multi-2level/DynaLoader.pm line 204. at (eval 3) line 3 Compilation failed in require at (eval 3) line 3. Perhaps a required shared library or dll isn't installed where expected After a lot of googling all I could find were suggested hacks, so I gave this one a go: http://arkoftech.wordpress.com/2011/02/10/fixing-dbdmysql-for-mysql-5-5-89-under-macos-10-6-x/ I had to update some of the paths in the instructions since on Lion it's Perl 5.12 not 5.10. From the web GUI, Configuration Tab, Port Configuration sub tab, I am only presented with the option to configure the port as Auto - 1000. I take this to mean, auto negotiate duplex, manually configure the speed to be gige. How do I manually configure the port such that it is manually configured to use full duplex, 1000 mbs?

Outlook email address autocompletion slow

Hello, I'm using outlook 2007. Two days ago, we've enabled auto-archiving, maybe that't the source of our problems, but I still have to investigate. At any rate, auto completion of email addresses in the to/cc/bcc fields has become a stopper, taking up to a minute to do something. KVM Guest not reachable from host

Hello, I'm running Ubuntu server 9.10, installed KVM etc. Created the bridge network following instructions on help.ubuntu.com/community/KVM/Networking Created a windows 2008 guest using virt-install command line (using virt-manager GUI from a remote Ubuntu desktop would not let me select the ISO location). I can however use a remote virt-manager to connect to the guest and complete the windows install. Within windows 2008 I changed the IP address but cannot ping from outside world. The bridge network appears fine - I'm not sure what else to look at! Here is the interfaces file: The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback The primary network interface auto eth0 iface eth0 inet manual # auto br0 iface br0 inet static address 60.234.64.50 netmask 255.255.255.248 network 60.234.0.0 broadcast 60.234.0.255 gateway 60.234.64.49 bridge_ports eth0 bridge_stp off bridge_fd 0 bridge_maxwait 0 auto eth1 iface eth1 inet static address 192.168.12.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.12.255 The ip of the windows server is 60.234.64.52 What else should I check? How can I add autocomplete in notepad++ for javascript in an .html file?

Notepad++ does auto-complete for html and also for JavaScript. but the auto-completion depends on file extension.html file supports completion for html only. Is there a way to enable auto-completion for javascript in the script tag of an html file? I mean, other than copying the auto-completion keyword list from "javascript.xml" to "html.xml" files... As suggested on stackoverflow, asking on superuser, as I could not find a satisfactory answer there. If anyone has any idea, please let me know! (I hope I am not the only one having this kind of an requirement! :))

Hello, I have a big problem. I use additional controls for Wpf. One of them is Telerik RadWindow This control is already templated. Now I want to create custom Window with will inherit from RadWindow, and make custom template, eg. One base window will contains grid and two buttons, second base window will contain two grids (master - detail). The problem is that templates do not support inheritance. Perhaps is another way to template only the content of Winodow? On a Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS server install certain services fail to start properly after a reboot. I have a couple of virtual interfaces defined on eth0: /etc/network/interfaces # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system # and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5). # The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback # The primary network interface auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 172.16.5.240 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.5.1 auto eth0:1 iface eth0:1 inet static address 172.16.5.241 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.5.1 auto eth0:2 iface eth0:2 inet static address 172.16.5.242 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.5.1 auto eth0:3 iface eth0:3 inet static address 172.16.5.243 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.5.1 and so on... The services that try to bind to for example 172.16.5.243 fail during boot, complaining that there is no such IP address. My questions: 1) Are the services started parallel by default? Can I disable that so they run sequentially? 2) Is there a way to define dependencies between rc scripts? I'm only familiar with the defining the order of seqentially started scripts using the numbers in /etc/rc[0-6].d/) Any other fix or workaround appreciated.

background image disappears when position relative used in firefox

So I'm trying to add a badge to the top right corner of a site I'm doing some work on. z-index works to float the object above the page content but each time i try to use position relative the background image disappears only position absolute shows the image. I don't really want to use absolute as the image needs to be positioned on the right hand side of the sites menu bar not the right hand side of the viewport. Unable to ping gateway via bridge nic

I'm trying to install KVM on Ubuntu 12.04 server. We have multiple nic on this server of which we primarily use eth0. The server network runs fine(i'm able to ping gateway, ping dns server and ping servers on internet) with eth0 /etc/network/interfaces auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.22.194 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.22.0 broadcast 192.168.22.255 gateway 192.168.22.1 dns-nameservers 10.71.130.58 10.71.130.60 dns-search test.local I installed bridge-utils and configured br0 as below /etc/network/interfaces auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 iface eth0 inet manual auto br0 iface br0 inet static address 192.168.22.194 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.22.0 broadcast 192.168.22.255 gateway 192.168.22.1 dns-nameservers 10.71.130.58 10.71.130.60 dns-search test.local bridge_ports eth0 bridge_fd 9 bridge_hello 2 bridge_maxage 12 bridge_stp off Post which i'm able to ping servers on the same ip range 192.168.22.2-254 except for 192.168.22.1 (which is the gateway) also i'm not able to ping any other servers. I'm not able to ping this machine from network. RTNETLINK answers: File exists... maybe because assigned a new mac adress

I got a "RTNETLINK answers: File exists Failed to bring up eth0:1" on "ifup eth0:1". I suspect it happens because i assigned a new mac adress in my VM's network adapter. Can you tell me how to fix the issue? At the moment I am connected to the 192.168.10.x Network and if I do /etc/init.d/networking stop /etc/init.d/networking start then i got "RTNETLINK [...] falied to bring up eth0:1" but the strage thing is that i am able to connect to 192.168.10.83 via ssh from my host machine. But I cannot reach the internet from the debian client. IPv6 routing to another interface

I'm trying to get an IPv6 enabled router to forward data from one interface to the other and I'm having issues. When following this example (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk872/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080ba6106.shtml) I am able to get full connectivity between all 3 routers in my simulator. However when I try to use only 1 router; I can't get connectivity to the other interfacs on the same router. My PC is directly attached to FA 0/1 and it can ping the router's interface. However it can not ping any other interface on the router(which unless I'm missing something it should be able to do). The router on the other hand can ping everything. I thought static routes might help; but the router already has routes for everything. I'm thinking the packet should come in; router looks up the destination in it's ipv6 routing table and then realizes it's for itself, and should respond. I thought maybe it couldn't respond directly; so I tried pinging a device like 2001:0000:0000:1000::2, but i don't get a response. I'm running on IOS 12.4. I'm missing something(hopefully simple), but I just can't see what it is. With only 1 router; how do I enable my PC to talk to the other subnets? automount a windows share

I have this line and it works mount -t cifs -o myuser //192.168.0.12/Public/Docs /mnt/cifs_shares/Docs But then I try with autofs and it doesn't In /etc/auto.master: /mnt/cifs_shares/Docs /etc/auto.cifs_shares and in /etc/auto.cifs_shares Docs -fstype=cifs,rw,noperm,credentials=/etc/credentials.txt ://192.168.0.12/Public/Docs it seems that the thing gets mounted actually, but it turns to be empty. When mounted with mount it's not empty at all What am I missing ? I'm on Centos 6.3 64 bits

xrandr fails when 3rd monitor has higher resolution

I tried many combinations with xrandr command under lubuntu 12.04 to setup my three monitors DVI (DELL 1) left detected as HDMI1 HDMI (LG E2290) middle detected as HDMI2 VGA (DELL 2) right detected as VGA1 I can get the display with fix 1280x1024 on all the monitors. But once I setup 1280x1024 + 1920x1080 + 1280x1024, I get blank screen on all the monitors. Sometimes it throws crts fail error instead of blanking out. Anyone have similar issues? any solutions/workarounds? P.S. I can setup two monitors using 1280x1280 and 1920x1080 P.S.S. HDMI2 required at least 1920x1080 to display sharp picture. Problems bringing up a second virtual network interface

I'm having issues adding a second IP address to one interface. Below is my /etc/networking/interfaces # The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback #eth0 is our main IP address auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 198.58.103.* netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 198.58.103.1 #eth0:0 is our private address auto eth0:0 iface eth0:0 inet static address 192.168.129.134 netmask 255.255.128.0 #eth0:1 is for www.site.com auto eth0:1 iface eth0:1 inet static address 198.58.104.* netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 198.58.104.1 When I run /etc/init.d/networking restart, I get a fail error about bringing up eth0:1: RTNETLINK answers: File exists Failed to bring up eth0:1. Any reason this would be? I didn't have any problems with I first set up eth0 and eth0:0.
