• How to display the image in the web view using html code?

  Hi Guys, I am getting the data form Parser, In that I am getting a set of urls. Using these urls can I make image url by appending any data values getting from the parser. http://musicbrainz.org/ws/1/artist/f27ec8db-af05-4f36-916e-3d57f91ecf5e?type=xml&inc=url-rels+artist-rels using these url i get data and set of urls.They are not providing image url or thumbnail. So, Is it possible to get or form an image url from parser (http://musicbrainz.org/ws/1/artist/f27ec8db-af05-4f36-916e-3d57f91ecf5e?type=xml&inc=url-rels+artist-rels) and display in the web view.   I am farily new to the topic, but I am trying to combine both Django and Pyjamas. What would be the smart way to combine the two? I am not asking about communication, but rather about the logical part. Should I just put all the Pyjamas generated JS in the base of the domain, say http://www.mysite.com/something and setup Django on a subdirectory, or even subdomain, so all the JSON calls will go for http://something.mysite.com/something ? As far as I understand now in such combination theres not much point to create views in Django? Is there some solution for clean urls in Pyjamas, or that should be solved on some oy,ther level? How? Is it a standard way to pass some arguments as GET parameteres in a clean url while calling a Pyjamas generated JS?

• How do I use .htaccess RewriteRule to change underscores to dashes

  I'm working on a site, and its CMS used to save new page urls using the underscore character as a word seperator. Despite the fact that Google now treats underscore as a word seperator, the SEO powers that be are demanding the site use dashes instead. This is very easy to do within the CMS, and I can of course change all existing URLs saved in the MySQL database that serves the CMS. My problem lies in writing a .htaccess rule that will 301 old style underscore seperated links to the new style hyphenated verstion.   I've been staring at the source code of these two download pages for awhile now and i can't seem to find the problem. I have two download pages, one where the javascript is working, one where it isnt. working: http://justupload.it/v/lfd7 not: http://justupload.it/v/ljhv The working one allows me to rotate the image and reveal the comments box by clicking on the comments button. The non-working one does not let me do that stuff. Can anyone help me find the problem or recommend a program to help me do it?

  I'm looking for a fast, clean, pythonic way to divide a list into exactly n nearly-equal partitions. partition([1,2,3,4,5],5)->[[1],[2],[3],[4],[5]] partition([1,2,3,4,5],2)->[[1,2],[3,4,5]] (or [[1,2,3],[4,5]]) partition([1,2,3,4,5],3)->[[1,2],[3,4],[5]] (there are other ways to slice this one too) There are several answers in here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1335392/iteration-over-list-slices that run very close to what I want, except they are focused on the size of the list, and I care about the number of the lists (some of them also pad with None). These are trivially converted, obviously, but I'm looking for a best practice. Similarly, people have pointed out great solutions here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/312443/how-do-you-split-a-list-into-evenly-sized-chunks-in-python for a very similar problem, but I'm more interested in the number of partitions than the specific size, as long as it's within 1. Again, this is trivially convertible, but I'm looking for a best practice.

• How can I extract a URL from a sentence that is in a NSString?

  What I'm trying to accomplish is as follows. I have a NSString with a sentence that has a URL within the sentience. I'm needing to be able to grab the URL that is presented within any sentence that is within a NSString so for example: Let's say I had this NSString NSString *someString = @"This is a sample of a http://abc.com/efg.php?EFAei687e3EsA sentence with a URL within it."; I need to be able to extract http://abc.com/efg.php?EFAei687e3EsA from within that NSString. This NSString isn't static and will be changing structure and the url will not necessarily be in the same spot of the sentence. I've tried to look into the three20 code but it makes no sense to me. How else can this be done? Thanks for help.

  Using apache2 I want to set up an AJP proxy for a Tomcat server that maps an internal servlet URL to a completely different URL externally. Currently I am using the following configurations: Apache2 configuration: <IfModule mod_proxy.c> ProxyPreserveHost on ProxyPass /external_name ajp://192.168.1.30:8009/servlet_name ProxyPassReverse /external_name ajp://192.168.1.30:8009/servlet_name </IfModule> Note that external_name and servlet_name are different. Tomcat 6 configuration: <Connector port="8009" protocol="AJP/1.3" redirectPort="8443" /> This however does not work. Apache seems to forward http requests to Tomcat. However the URLs and redirects returned by Tomcat are still using the original servlet_name and Apache does not map them to external_name. Is this possible at all with AJP? If not can it be done using a plain http proxy instead?

  I know there's a Rest API to check the Twitter rate limit. To summarize policy: 150 for an IP, and 150 per non-whitelisted account except for searches (which are IP only). However, my app is using Twython, authenticated, but the limit seems to decrease for both my accounts as I use it. • Alpha transparent PNGs not displaying correctly in Mobile Safari

  I'm using some semi-transparent PNGs as background-images on various websites. These are usually something like a 1x1 image with a 30-percent opaque white layer. I've noticed that Mobile Safari does not display them correctly, giving them a darker/grayish tint. I've created a couple test pages to illustrate. View them both in your normal browser, and then on Mobile Safari, and you should see what I mean. So my question is: is there a way to check if a image (say "http://couleeapps.hostei.com/BottomBox.png") is available without having to download it? Help is much appreciated HiGuy

  I have a master page, which has a style sheet, which has the following line: .idle { background-image: url( '../../Images/blue_bg.png' ); } All my pages inherit from this master page. And this works well when the URL is http://www.domain.com/home/details/5, however the URL is http://www.domain.com/home/create, then, of course, blue_bg.png cannot be found because `../../Images/blue_bg.png' resolves to a directory one higher where there is nothing there. I tried the trick suggested by @codemeit in a similar question, but I can't plop down C# in a style sheet, can I? How is this typically handled?

  WPF Windows-XP SP3 I'm having a problem with a simple WPF animation. After a fresh reboot of the machine, this animation is nice and smooth. However, I tend to leave my machine on all the time and after a period time elapses (I don't know how long), the animation starts stuttering and becomes choppy. I thought that it may be memory or resource issues, but after shutting down all other apps and any services that seem unnecessary, the stuttering still continues. However, after a system reboot, the animation is smooth again! I get the same symptoms in a WPF app or in XamlPad. In the case of the app, it doesn't seem to make any difference whether I run in the debugger or if I run the executable directly. I applied the patch at this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981741 and I thought that it had taken care of the issue, but it seems not to have. I have seen some posts that might indicate that using transparency might affect animation, but as you can see, my xaml does not use transparency. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to determine what the problem is? Are there any WPF diagnostic tools that might help? UPDATE: I have checked my video drivers and they are the latest version. (nVidia GeForce 8400 GS)

• How to use RadSpell within a Telerik MVC Grid editor popup?

  Is it possible to use RadSpell within a Telerik MVC Grid editor popup? I have followed some of the examples online to use RadSpell with ASP.NET MVC (http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/mvc-using-spellchecker.html and http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/spell-client-side-api.html) and I am able to attach multiple text controls to check but the display gets messed up when using Telerik MVC Grid editor popups since it's already in a modal. Sometimes it will randomly pick another div on the page and treats it like it's the main window (it will gray out just a portion of the page and I'll see the RadSpell popup peeking through but it's unusable). It seems like it chooses different places in the DOM to inject the iframe/radwindow for RadSpell as well. Any ideas? I didn't include any code because my implementation is a mess and I'd prefer to start with something simpler, from scratch.

• Sql Server Service Broker Conversation Groups

  Can someone explain conversation groups in service broker? Currently, I'm using service broker to send messages from one SQL server to another. On the sending server, I'm trying to correlate the messages so they are processed in serial on the receiving side. Based on the documentation, conversation groups seem to be a perfect fit for this, but on the receiving server, the messages get assigned to a different conversation group from the one I specified when sending the message. I've search around the web and saw that this behavior seems to be intended (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/sqlservicebroker/thread/baf48074-6804-43ab-844a-cb28a6dce02b/), but then I'm confused about the usefulness of the syntax from (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178624.aspx) WAITFOR( GET CONVERSATION GROUP @conversation_group_id FROM [dbo].[ReceiveQueue] ) If the conversation group doesn't come across with the message from the sender and messages sent with the same conversation group id don't have the same conversation group id on the receive side, what's the point of the code above?
