    Hello there, I'm working with a page that has several links that contain the same href text, and I need to select the second anchor element on the page that contains said href text. Here's a simplified version of the link structure of the page: <a href="same/link/to/stuff/">same link</a> <a href="same/link/to/stuff/">same link</a> How do I fashion my selector so that it only selects the second anchor in the above example?     Hi, My issue is that multiple websites are going to include my JS file and when calling something like this: <script src="..."></script> hello.say("yay"); there going to be a race issue so sometimes it could make it sometimes not. i know that i can solve that easily by putting every function in a window.onload but that wouldn't be clean as i've seen other websites magically solve that like google analytics: .. I have to do this because I need to handle a feed in jsonp format from a remote server which I do not have control over, and there are colons in the key names of the returned jsonp (because the jsonp is converted from XML with namespaces in tags).

    Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to make an array which would have multiple types of data fields. So far I was using aMyArray: array of array [0..1] of TPoint; But now, it is not enough for me. I need to add 3 more elements to the existing 2 "Point" elements making it an array like aMyArray: array of (TPoint,TPoint,real,real,real) So each element of aMyArray would have 5 'children', 2 of which are of a TPoint type and 3 of them are 'real' type. Is this possible to implement somehow?

    Hello, im creating a MVC application thats following a restfull URL approach Im am experiencing the following error... "The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters." This error occurs when my URL length = 225 chars. Surly I can have much longer URL's without this problem and doesn’t this relate to file paths rather than URL's ? Im sure some of you MVC guys have experienced this ;) is there a way round it ?? where am i going wrong ?? thank you for your time Truegilly

    Hello! I'm trying to come up with a lightning fast solution to find portions in a string. Here is a Sample string: "PostLoad successful! You transferred amount of 17.00 Rs to 03334224222. Now use PostLoad by dialing 123. PostLoad on SMS will end on 01-03-2011." Objective: Need to retrieve the bold values: Amount and Cell Number. The string contents change slightly but the cell number will always be a 11 digit. The amount is always with two decimal precision. Any suggestions using C# and RegEx?

    Hello.... I have an SSRS report that contains several subreports. The user has the ability to select/deselect which subreports they want to produce using several Boolean parameters. If a subreport is deselected then it is not rendered by setting the Visibility property. However, the DataSet associated with the de-selected subreport still executes causing the execution time to take longer than expected. Is there any way to tell a dataset on a subreport or Tablix not to execute based on a Parameter selection? Thanks

    Hello, I have a mysql table. It has auto increment on the id. but I regularly delete rows so the numbers are all over the place. I need to get the last n rows out, but because of deletions, the common way of using the max of the autoincremented id column doesn't work well... 1 - Is their another way to get the bottom 50? 2 - Is their a way to get rows by actual row number? so if I have 4 rows labelled 1,2,3,4 delete row 2 then it will become 1,2,3 rather than 1,3,4?

    hello. I am using gcc on linux to compile C++ code. There are some exceptions which should not be handled and should close program. However, I would like to be able to display exception string: For example: throw std::runtime_error(" message"); does not display message, only type of error. I would like to display messages as well. Is there way to do it? it is a library, I really do not want to put catch statements and let library user decide. However, right now library user is fortran, which does not allow to handle exceptions. in principle, I can put handlers in wrapper code, but rather not to if there is a way around Thanks

    hello, i got a compile error which i do not understand. i have a h/cpp file combination that does not contain a class but just defines some utility functions. when i try to use a struct that is defined in another class i get the error: error C2027: use of undefined type so, stripped down to the problem, the h file looks like this namespace A { void foo(B::C::SStruct const & Var); } the definition of SStruct is in a class which is in another h-file, that is of course included. namespace B { Class C { struct SStruct { }; } } what am i missing here? thanks!

    Hello guys.. I have data which is starting from 0 in my database. My php will add 1 or -1 to the data depending on the user's input. My problem is that if data is 0 and a user try to subtract 1. The data become 4294967295 which is the maximum value of INT data type. Are there anyways to make the data stays in 0 even when the user asks for -1?     Hello, Almost every flash player has an option to display how much of buffer (or % of total video) is downloaded to the client. At the moment I don't see it in any implementation of html5 video player. The real problem I am trying to solve is to have a way of knowing % of downloaded asset (image/swf/video whatever). In flash its easy by using MovieClipLoader and bytesLoaded property. Is there any way of doing it in HTML/HTML5/Javascript (without relying on Flash) ? Thanks!

    Hello, I am wondering how exactly can i order my date nicely in a stringbuilder? Meaning something equal to ("{0,2}", ....) to space the data nicely out. I do not want to use consolewrites of any kind, so the class can be re-used in a form, console code etc... Currently i am using " " for the spacing, but in overall it does not give a proper display. The problem is : we spend a lot of time during the development. With Make, only one complete build was required and then any change did not consume a lot of time (almost instantaneously). On the other hand, with Maven 2, a little change takes a lot of time to run. Any solution ? Thanks.

    Hello guys, I need some help with a complex SQL query. Here's my setup: there are two tables, one with authors, and another with books. The books table contains a field named "author" which holds author's id. If a book has more than one author, then the "author" field will contain all the authors ids separated by ";" (something like 2;34;234). On the website I have to list all the books written by an author. If there's only one author, its simple, but how can I get those books where the author I'm interested in is the second or third author? Many thanks.

  • Drawing problem does ShowWindow(hWnd, SW_HIDE) automatically invalidate rectangles?

    Hello, I'm running into a problem where, I have a Window that contains a child window. The child window contains another child window where a video is playing using Windows Media Player. Whenever I do call ShowWindow (hWnd, SW_HIDE) on the parent Window and paint over the entire surface, the region occupied by the grand-child window (where the video was playing) is not overridden. I used spy++ and found that that region which was not overridden was set to hidden BEFORE the repaint occurs. I monitored the hwnd of the grand-child window and it did not seem to receive any WM_EraseBKGND or WM_NCPAINT messages. Does this mean the area it occupied had not been invalidated and therefore could not be drawn over? I'm new to winforms. Thanks!

    Hello! My FTP client (apache commons ftpclient) needs to download file from FTP. The problem is that an external service may not have finished writing to this file before I start downloading. Is there any way to determine via FTP whether the file is already closed (i.e. there is no writing handlers opened)? The problem is that I cannot synchronize with that external service. But I mustn't download file which is not finished yet (a large JPEG). Thanks in advance!
