• Need help with regular expressions - URL redirection

  Hello everyone. I'm trying to redirect an easy to remember url to a php file but I'm having some trouble with the regex. Here's what I have at the moment: RewriteRule ^tcb/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,})/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,})/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,}) /tcb/lerbd.php?autocarro=$1&tipo=$2&dsd=$3 It is working but only if I supply all 3 arguments. I want the last two arguments to be optional so it either works with only the first or all three. I'm hoping you can help me with this. Thank you very much.

• Creating AVI files in OpenCV

  Hello. I have been trying to create an application using OpenCV and Visual Studio 2008, to capture images from a webcam, apply a filter to them, and then write them to an AVI file. Everything works, except creating the AVI file. The problem is that it works on my computer, but it doesn't work on my colleague's computer. The reason for that (I think) is that he does not have the necessary video encoders for OpenCV to use. The cvCreateVideoWriter function does not return NULL, but I end up with a 0kb file on the disk.

  hello I am toying with certain caching algorithm, which is challenging somewhat. Basically, it needs to allocate lots of small objects (double arrays, < 256 elements), with objects accessible through mapped value, map[key] = array. time to initialized array may be quite large, generally more than 10 thousand cpu cycles. By lots I mean around gigabyte in total. objects may need to be popped/pushed as needed, generally in random places, one object at a time. lifetime of an object is generally long, minutes or more, however, object may be subject to allocation/deallocation several times during duration of program. What would be good strategy to avoid memory fragmentation, while still maintaining reasonable allocate deallocate speed? I am using C++, so I can use new and malloc. Thanks. I know there a similar questions on website, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2156745/efficiently-allocating-many-short-lived-small-objects, are somewhat different, thread safety is not immediate issue for me.

• AudioOutputUnitStart takes time

  Hello, I'm making an iPhone game application using Core Audio, Extended Audio File Services. It works OK, but when I first call AudioOutputUnitStart, it takes about 1-2 seconds. After the second call, no problem. For a game application, 1-2 seconds is very noticeable. (I tested this on iPhone simulator, and iPhone 3GS) Also, if I leave the game for about 10 seconds, first call of AudioOutputUnitStart also takes time. Maybe I have to call AudioOutputUnitStart beginning of the application to prevent the start-up time?

  Hello, I have a form (with post method) that takes the following input: - a certain name - a number - 3 checkboxes All this input gets generated and calculated in a table.(html code within the php) Everything gets properly calculated and displayed in a table. So my question: How do i make it possible after giving all those input to give in more input? Meaning i have made a hyperlink that goes back to the form itself (where i can give the input). So i can give in new data, and after submiting that again the table now contains 2 rows of values insteed of just 1. Not really sure what exactly i need for this. Regards.

  Hello, I'm using Selenium for making some work: script should click at link followed by it's own address. For example, there is a method: clickAndWait. I have to pass it link title. But at my page this title changes, so I have to pass address to click at. Could you help me with this? p.s. • Need to include #anchor after querystring list

  Hello, Form is 'get' to a API which operates off of querystring. One of the parameters is a PackageID which indicates a vacation package. In order for the packageID to appear I also need to append '#packages' to the end of the get request. Since not all form 'get' have a package I need this to be dynamic. I've tried adding a hidden field with '#packages' as the value - however the '#' is automatically encoded and therefore not registered when the server grabs the URL. What would be the best way for me to dynamically include '#packages' as it appears in the querystring via javascript? Thanks!

  I was trying make an AJAX call from a static file on my computer to a simple sinatra service. The ajax call was returning with an error and no details. The server logged no errors either. Another strange symptom was that the Origin in the request header was null. I turns out that you can't make cross domain ajax calls without a little extra effort. You can set the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header on your sinatra response to expose your service to external domains using a snippet like this: get '/hi' do response['Access-Control-Allow-Origin'] = '*' content_type 'text/plain' "Hello World" end There's also another header you can set to allow other HTTP Methods besides gets, Access-Control-Request-Method. You can find more information by searching around for CORS: Cross Origin Resource Sharing and the previously mentioned headers.   Hello, I need to be able to encrypt the MySQL traffic from a web server to a database server. I know how to set MySQL to use SSL based on the server and client settings in my.cnf however, this needs to be done using mysql_connect() in PHP. This may be a 2 part question. 1) Does mysql_connect() use the MySQL client settings that are set in my.cnf? If not... I have read that you can use MYSQL_CLIENT_SSL however, where is the SSL data obtained from? Does using MYSQL_CLIENT_SSL in the mysql_connect function automagically encrypt the traffic? Now when user finished editing the values on this text boxes user has to click the button and this button invoke heavily process intensive algorithm on server side code based on the data received from client (Textboxes) And it could some time takes up to 30 to 45 minutes to complete the whole operation so the current thread is still inside the button click event handler function. That background task only provides one event, and the web page subscribes to it to get some text data after each stage of processing I was wandering if there is any way I can keep user up-to-date with what is the current progress on that background task. I have div element to print the current status information So I am looking for some sort of reverse mechanism then "get" and "post". I have read some articles on the Comet (programming) but I can't find any easy or definitive answer Thanks in advance

  Hello everybody, I am working with Symfony 1.4 and Doctrine. I have a model A with an email field. The form of A displays an input in which the user should insert the email correctly. But as everybody knows, sometimes they don't do it. To fix this I have inserted an extra field in the model (and in the form), called *repeat_email* to prevent the misspellings. Then, in the validation process, after validating all the fields, i use a global validator to compare the data of the two fields. This works, but I don't want to have the email stored two times in the database (I don't want the *repeat_email*). Is there any mechanism to use it in the validation process, but not to store it in the database? Thanks,

  Hello, I have this string that may contain some urls that I need to grab. For instance, if the user does: www.youtube ... or www.vimeo ... or http://www.youtube ... or HttP://WwW.viMeo I need to grab it (until he finds a space perhaps). and store it on a already created array. The need is to separate the vimeo links from the youtube ones and place each of those on the appropriate video object. I'm not sure if this is possible, I mean, if the URL coming from the browser could be used to be placed on a predefined video object. If it is, then this is the way to go (so I believe).
