What server configuration do I need. And if I am deploying it on EC2 how many VMs do I need and what should be their configuration. What options do I have to do a load testing for 1 million concurrent users. Any pointer to (for php) how to code or what to keep in mind for such application. This is for sure that I don't exactly know what to ask because this is my first application on this scale. But one thing is clear that this application should pass a load test of 1 million concurrent request.

  • Sharing internet from a laptop to other laptop

    Here is my scenario. I have two laptops with me A and B. A is getting wireless internet connection from a Router. B(no wireless) is connected to A via LAN (I can ping two laptops from each other and this is working). My goal is to connect internet in B from A via proxy. Right now I can only seeing LAN connection but internet connectivity is not there in B.   • Windows scheduled task not running

    I have several SQL server backups on a server. I have created a batch file which then copies these to network drives. These are mapped to the server, and it works properly. Now, I've created a scheduled task to do this. If I select "run the task when logged in", I can test the task. It works fine. However I cannot test it with the other option "run task if logged in or not". I've read that testing this task is not possible manually. However the task runs when we log off the server automatically.

    I am creating a NAT with iptables: Computer A: eth0 (dhcp) + eth1 (static ip 192.168.0.1 - gateway) Computer B: eth1 (static ip 192.168.0.2, using Computer A as gateway) I know how to block ICMP outgoing requests (-A OUTPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -j DROP), but that would block ICMP requests from Computer A, but not from Computer B (in fact, only for Computer A - Computer B can keep doing those). I tried with the same command, but adding -o eth1, but that does not block at all. Any idea?

    i installed mysql mysql-server and mysql-libs ... after installation i thought to start the mysql service using command systemctl start mysqld.service Failed to issue method call: Unit mysqld.service failed to load: Invalid argument.     I have installed Cisco vpn client version 5.0.07.0290 on Vista Business SP2. I am able to successfully connnect to the vpn. But after connecting I am not able to access any resource in the vpn (like database, other computers in the network etc.). I have tried the following without any success : Older versions of the client Other vpn clients like Shrewsoft : same issue as the cisco vpn client Disabled Internet Connection Sharing service Installed the client in the root administrator account Run the installer as administrator Run the vpngui and ipsecdialer in XP compatibility mode and as administrator I am not sure how to troubleshoot this issue. Can somebody please help me in troubleshooting this issue? P.S : I've Zonealarm firewall, can that be an issue?

  • Deleted the GPT partition/ record

    A friend of mine had GPT partition n his Lenovo laptop. While formatting the computer and reinstalling the OS, I wiped of all the partitions, and created 4 new partitions. Now after installing everything, when I turned off the laptop. It isn't booting, I checked the BIOS settings, and tried booting Ubuntu off my life disc, it ran well, but again, I can't boot anymore. Later I figured out, that this is happening because I had deleted the GPT partition, and now the OS has tried to create MBR records, so basically this is the problem.

    I created a database link using database link. create public database link REMOTEDB connect to REMOTEUSER identified by REMOTEPWD using 'REMOTEDB'; then i create a table in remote db like, create table MYTABLE@REMOTEDB (name varchar2(20))); It says, ORA-02021 DDL operations are not allowed on| a remote database.. Will this Not work on any cost, or am i just missing some permissions to create ?

    I enabled autologin in my system (CentOS 6.2) for that I edited this file /etc/gdm/custom.conf In that I entered this code [daemon] AutomaticLoginEnable=true AutomaticLogin=test Here test means one account name, for that account autologin is working but the problem is not possible to logout. That is because everytime while I logout it will go to gdm(graphical display manager) and there it Again checks for account test. It is available right so it will again login to same account. Here I want add delay, that means it should wait for sometime, If no one login to any other account, then only test account will log. how to add delay?

If we refresh twice on each browser it creates duplicate copies of the same page.
