    I have been looking around to try and find some confirmation and clarity on the limit of pageviews that Google allow per month for a Google Analytics account. I have read that the limit of hits per month is 10,000,000, and the limit of pageviews is 5,000,000. Putting 2 and 2 together I am thinking this is to allow the other 5,000,000 for events and social clicks and the like? Google's documentation states 5m, but the hits/pageviews is a bit of a grey area as i've read suggestions that the limit can be considered as 10m

Looking for a replacement that can: Import/convert a MS FrontPage website and "modernize it" (clean up the HTML to make it standards compliant, etc.) Supports (or converts) the substitutions (Include Page and Text substitutions that are done when the page is published (so they become static HTML). Leverages my knowledge of FrontPage Looks like the likely contender is Web Expressions but I'm open to objective suggestions.

  • Where can I find Vagrant packages?

    Vagrant is a tool to build and manage virtual machines for developers. It has a getting started on Ubuntu guide that contains iffy-looking suggestions like $ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/ruby1.8 /usr/bin/ruby # wtf??? or installing RubyGems from source rather than from Ubuntu packages, and then using gem install to install vagrant itself. I'm not feeling comfortable just following those instructions. Is there perhaps a PPA? Are there, perhaps, alternative tools that are packaged for Ubuntu?

  • How can I remove the Unity Launcher?

    Unfortunately, the Unity Launcher on the left hand side of the screen takes more valuable space away than the new menu bar gives. Is there any way to get rid of the Launcher? Alternatives I would be satisfied with include: Not having the Launcher at all Having the Launcher hide automatically Having applications open on top of the Launcher (not next to it) (edit:) Note that I am specifically looking for a way to keep the global menubar, while getting rid of the Launcher.

  • loading 3d model data into buffers

    I am using assimp to load 3d model data. I have noticed that each loaded model is made up of different meshes. I was wondering should each mesh have it's own vertex/index buffer or should there just be one for the whole model? From looking through the index data that is loaded it seems to suggest that I will need a vertex buffer per mesh but I'm not 100% sure. I am using C++ and DirectX9 Thank you, Mark

I cannot directly go to Google and search, because it knows i'm looking for my site, and it shows it in the first position, but from another browser, it cannot be even in the first page.     I'm looking for a way to draw textures to screen in Unity in a similar fashion to XNA's SpriteBatch.Draw method. Ideally, I'd like to write a few helper methods to make all my XNA code work in Unity. This is the first issue I've faced on this seemingly long journey. I guess I could just use quads, but I'm not so sure it's the least expensive way performance-wise. I could do that stuff in XNA anyway, but they made SpriteBatch not without a reason, I believe.
