The same happens for {0:u} or {0:s}. Any help would be gratefully received. :)

  • Open a URL with parameters using selenium.open()

    I am using selenium.open(), to open a URL, which prints the cookie output to the browser window: String cookiestr = "http://my.server.com/cookie?out=text"; selenium.open( cookiestr ); The problem is that, it opens a "Save As..." popup, to save the file named "cookie". When I open the same URL in my browser directly, it displays text in the browser window. I want to capture the body text shown, when I open the URL, but am unable to do so. Is there any other command available which I can use to do this?   • How to convert an NSString to hex values

    I'd like to convert a regular NSString into an NSString with the (what I assume are) ASCII hex values and back. I need to produce the same output that the Java methods below do, but I can't seem to find a way to do it in Objective-C. I've found some examples in C and C++ but I've had a hard time working them into my code.     I am out of ideas here, so I'm hoping someone can help. Here is what I've got: A WCF service that only has a basicHttpBinding endpoint. There is only a service interface, all other [DataMember], [FaultContract] are concrete types. When I run it straight from Visual Studio (using WCF Test Client or my custom app) everything works (I send a request and get a response). This usually takes a second or two. I published it to an IIS 6 server. I can successfully open http://server/WebService/WebService.svc?WSDL I can successfully open http://server/WebService/WebService.svc/mex (same output as above) The WCF Test Client and my custom app can successfully add the service reference Whenever I try to call a service method it waits for about 15 seconds and I get the dreaded "no meaningful reply" error. I ran Fiddler and I got a 202 result, which would seem like a success. It's not returning more than 65536 bytes It's returning an array, but it is small I tried remote debugging, but can't get that to work, probably due to a firewall (but port 80 is open, I can get the WSDL) I enabled system.diagnostics, nothing. I have an IErrorHandler which normally logs things, nothing. Here's the endpoint config: <endpoint address="" binding="basicHttpBinding" contract="Enterprise.IMyService" bindingNamespace="http://ourdomain.com/MyService/"> <identity> <dns value="localhost" /> </identity> </endpoint> Anything else I can try?   • OpenCV Video capture and fps problem

    Hi to all, I'm capturing video from my webcam using OpenCV on MacOSX. It works fine but when I try to play on QuickTime my captured video it plays too fast. i.e. I capture from camera for 10 seconds but when I play on QuickTime the video is 2 seconds. I've tried to change fps from 25 to 10 and It's works quite fine, but I'm sure it's not the correct process: CvVideoWriter *writer = 0; int isColor = 1; int fps = 25; int frameW = 640; // 744 for firewire cameras int frameH = 480; // 480 for firewire cameras The problem is that for now I've to capture with WebCam but the real pourpose of program is to capture image from any external source connected to my Mac.     I have the following code in my controller (for Edit and Create): model.Templates = new SelectList(PageManagementService.PageTemplateFetchList(), "PageId", "Title", 213); the "213" is an Id for one of the pages - just using it for testing. And this is in my view (for Edit and Create): <%= this.Html.DropDownListFor(model => model.Page.TemplateId, this.Model.Templates)%> <%= this.Model.Templates.SelectedValue %> When I go to the Create form, I see the dropdown list, but the tag with value="213" is not selected. I even output the SelectedValue to make sure it's 213 - and I see 213. When I go to the Edit form, I see the dropdown list, and the tag with value="213" is selected. On the Create form, none of the tags have a "selected" attribute. On the Edit form, the tag with value="213" has the "selected" attribute. Am I missing something? What could be causing this? Anyone see this behavior before?

    Hey guys, I'm trying to programmatically load a web page via the WebBrowser control with the intent of testing the page & it's JavaScript functions. Basically, I want to compare the HTML & JavaScript run through this control against a known output to ascertain whether there is a problem. However, I'm having trouble simply creating and navigating the WebBrowser control. The code below is intended to load the HtmlDocument into the WebBrowser.Document property: WebBrowser wb = new WebBrowser(); wb.AllowNavigation = true; wb.Navigate("http://www.google.com/"); When examining the web browser's state via Intellisense after Navigate() runs, the WebBrowser.ReadyState is 'Uninitialized', WebBrowser.Document = null, and it overall appears completely unaffected by my call. On a contextual note, I'm running this control outside of a Windows form object: I do not need to load a window or actually look at the page. Requirements dictate the need to simply execute the page's JavaScript and examine the resultant HTML. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • Android MediaPlayer ignores it's internal volume when the system volume changes

    Hi, here is my situation: I have a media player playing music in an Android application. I've found that with certain headphones, the volume is much too loud even when the volume is set to it's lowest setting. As a result, I want to change the volume of the music for all volume levels to be 10% of what it normally is (actually, this value is user-defined of course). The following works perfectly: mediaPlayer.setVolume(0.1f, 0.1f); The volume of the music is now at a good level for listening. However, if the user now changes the volume using the volume rocker (thus changing the music stream volume), the media player changes the volume as expected, but it also seems to reset the 'setVolume' parameters to 1.0, causing a massive volume change. Setting the volume back to 0.1 sets the volume to how it should be (which is 10% of the current music stream volume). To quote the Android docs for the MediaPlayer.setVolume method: This API is recommended for balancing the output of audio streams within an application How can you do this if it gets reset to 1.0 each time the system volume changes?     I have a Fancybox (or more accurately) a number of fancy boxes on an asp.net page. My Fancybox (jquery plugin) works fine until a postback occurs on the page then it refuses to work. Any thoughts? Anyone experienced similar behaviour? UPDATE : Some Code.. I have a databound repeater with a fancybox on each repeating item. They are instanciated by (outside the repeater) $(document).ready(function() { $("a.watchvideo").fancybox({ 'overlayShow': false, 'frameWidth' : 480, 'frameHeight' : 400 }); }); The anchor tag is repeated.. href="#watchvideo_<%#Eval("VideoId")%" As is a div with id="watchvideo_<%#Eval("VideoId") %> As is a script element that instanciates the flash movies Yes the VideoIds are being output the the page. UPDATE : It's not a problem with the flash.. It is not a problem with the flash as i've tried it without the flash, it wont even pop a window with a simple message in.     I am a graduate student with many scripts, bibliography data in bibtex, thesis draft in latex, presentations in open office, posters in scribus, and figures and result data. I would like to put everything in one project under version control. Then when I need to work on a portion such as the bibliography data, I would like to check that subdirectory out, modify it as necessary and merge it back.I would like the ability to check out one version to my home computer, and a different one to my work computer and make changes to each independently and eventually merge them back. I would also like to be able to check out a piece of code from this big project and import it with versioning into a separate project. If I may changes I'd like to be able to merge them back to the original project. However, the code that I'm trying to replace -- which calls out to the cURL command line app to do the same call -- succeeds.   • error_log php.ini setting has no effect on IIS 7/FastCGI/Win7/PHP5.3.2

    I have a very strange problem with PHP 5.3.2 running on IIS 7 on a fresh Windows 7 installation. Changing the error_log configuration options in the php.ini does not seem to have any effect. I cannot change the option to point to anything other than the default location. Here is a portion of my php.ini file and the output from phpinfo() before and after changing some configuration options. Everything else seems to have taken effect except the error_log option. I have noticed that the fastcgi.logging option also appears to be stuck. A previous setup with PHP 5.3.2 on Win XP and IIS 5.5 exhibited no problems.     Summary: One of our web applications requires write access to C:\Windows\Temp. However, no matter how much I weaken the NTFS permission, procmon shows ACCESS DENIED. Background (which might or might not be relevant for the problem): We are using OLEDB to access an MS Access database (which is located outside of C:\Windows\Temp). Unfortunately, this OLEDB driver requires write access to the user profile's TEMP directory (which happens to be C:\Windows\Temp when running under IIS 7.5), otherwise the dreaded "Unspecified Error" OleDbException is thrown. See KB 926939 for details. I followed the steps in the KB article, but it doesn't help. Details: This is the output of icacls C:\Windows\Temp. For debugging purposes I gave full permissions to Everyone.     I'm trying to code for a Point Of Sale system which allows for a "Cash Drawer" attachment. Code is provided in the manual for opening the cash drawer (in C++ using IOCTL). Since I am coding in C# .NET, is it possible to perform something similar from within C# or will I have to write some unmanaged code? Am I able to get a handle to "\\.\ADVANSYS" from within C#? Do I need to use DLLImport?
