  • MS Access 2007 - Property for text box to allow end-user to hit enter for return, not next

    So I have a form that user's use for data entry, and on one form there is a text box there that is basically used. To enter notes. However, if the user hits i need the cursor to stay in that text box, and start a new line (uh....like word would)....but currently it is jumping to the next control (text box). So is there a simple property setting that would do the trick? Or a VBA method to accomplish? Thanks Justin

(I am the page creator/admin) Please don't just give an answer "add the box to the page". Cause I really don't know how. Also, it seems that putting $facebook-api_client-profile_setFBML and $facebook-api_client-profile_setInfo for the application won't provide a way for the page to add the box.     On php page in a form, One combo box has list of my Customer from mysql table customer. Another combo box has invoiceno stored in invoice table which has respective customer records. I want to select customer from first combo box and filter invoiceno from the second one according to the customer. Any one help me for php or java or Jquery or both codeings? Means if I select customer1 then in the second combo box should show all invoiceno respective to the custermer1. No Refresh or ReLoad or Post form Pl.   • webpage scrollbar scrolls to top when typing in input box, how to fix?

    I have a HTML table that is scrollable and I'm forcing the scroll bar at the bottom. But every time I type something in a input box situated inside <thead> it scrolls back to top. I have no idea how to stop it to do that... I'm sorry for not explaining it better, if anybody wants to help, I could provide a link. I cannot place it public because is a private project. EDIT -added jsfiddle example (below is the link) click here for jsfiddle example EDIT2 the issue seem to be present only in Chrome, but that it's more than enough (the app is intended to be used in chrome) EDIT3 I found a similar issue here: on webkit browsers typing into edit box causes scrolling , so the problem seem explained: the parent element gets focus on the side where the input-box is. I verified this on a mockup-template and it acts accordingly. *The question is:*how to prevent this to happen? I am forced by situation to have the input-box as child for the scrollable div, but I don't want that scroll to move (somehow to not give focus to the parent element, when I type in the input-box). Any idea?

    I have this html: <div class="object-box"> <img ... /> <span class="caption">This is the caption</span> </div> Which is accompanied with this CSS: .object-box .caption, .object-box img { display: block; } .object-box { border: 1px solid; } I would like the surrounding div to shrink-wrap to its contents. I can achieve this by using float: ... or display: inline-block. However, I'd also like it to be centered on the page, using margin: auto. The two approaches don't seem to be compatible. Is it possible to create such a shrink-wrapped, centered container, without adding a wrapper element?

    My cable TV company gives me a Cisco Explorer 8640HDC DVR box that can record shows from TV. I know that it contains a hard drive to save the shows on. What format and file system are used to store the videos on the hard drive? I have looked at the documentation for this DVR box and there is no technical information about the manner in which recordings are stored. Is it possible to connect the hard drive to a computer and extract the recordings from it?

Use the "show" command on devices to show additional details about the configuration. ~# Interestingly it is possible to add the unassigned drive to the first array without problems. I thought maybe the controller put the array into "failed" state due to the missing spare and protects failed arrays from modification. So I tried was to reenable the logicaldrive (to add the spare afterwards): ~# /usr/sbin/hpacucli ctrl slot=0 ld 2 modify reenable Warning: Any previously existing data on the logical drive may not be valid or recoverable. Continue? (y/n) y Error: This operation is not supported with the current configuration. Use the "show" command on devices to show additional details about the configuration. ~# But as you can see, re-enabling the logicaldrive this was not possible. Now I replaced the failed drive by hotswapping it with the unassigned drive.   • Android listview produces black highlighting over text when scrolling. How to stop this?

    I have a listview within which each item contains black text on a white background. When testing on a Nexus One, when scrolling down to read through the text, a black highlight appears over the text and makes it unreadable. I am trying to figure out what is this setting so I can turn it off. I do not want anything to get highlighted when scrolling down through the list. How can I accomplish this? Thanks.

  • Floats will not align, stay staggered, can't find a solution?

    What I am trying to do is build a multi column layout. The main two sections are divided 2/3 to 1/3 and inside the 2/3 column is divided 2/3 1/3 as well. My problem is that my floats will not align nicely with each other, choosing instead to stagger like stairs. I have tried declaring the widths smaller, floating them individually, including in the float sections display:block,inline, or inline-block and nothing seems to be working. I am getting really frustrated and would appreciate any help!   • What is a technique for 2D ray-box intersection that is suitable for old console hardware?

    I'm working on a Sega Genesis homebrew game (it has a 7mhz 68000 CPU). I'm looking for a way to find the intersection between a particle sprite and a background tile. Particles are represented as a point with a movement vector. Background tiles are 8 x 8 pixels, with an (X,Y) position that is always located at a multiple of 8. So, really, I need to find the intersection point for a ray-box collision; I need to find out where along the edge of the tile the ray/particle hits. I have these two hard constraints: I'm working with pixel locations (integers). Floating point is too expensive. It doesn't have to be super exact, just close enough. Multiplications, divisions, dot products, et cetera, are incredibly expensive and are to be avoided. So I'm looking for an efficient algorithm that would fit those constraints. Any ideas? I'm writing it in C, so that would work, but assembly should be good as well.
