    Sorry if this isnt the right stackexchange site to ask this, it was really hard to determine. My FB game just recently got rejected for 2 reasons. The first I fixed nicely and is irrelevant but the second I just can't see to figure out what they mean and I was hoping someone else got the same issue and did know what they meant. These are the errors: You can ignore the error under "Banners" The web preview of my game looks like this now: All I know is that the rejection has something to do with the cover image, not the icons or the screenshots. Please let me know what to do to get approved. Thanks a lot!

  • Drawing shapes dynamically on an image through web browser

    We have a scenario where we create floor plans of locations when we visit. The floor plan is finally shown on the web. It's come to the point now where we want to show floor plans but have a key with various items on them, when an item on the key is clicked, the image should highlight all the areas of the floorplan that have that specific item. I guess we're looking for some sort of open standard javascript lib to deal with SVG (has to work pre IE9 so pure SVG wont cut it) and the floor plans have to be able to be created through a .net application to be deployed on the web. I'd rather stay away from flash if at all possible to be honest. Below are a few conceptual images of what we're trying to achieve.

  • Absorbtion 2d image effect

    I want to create a specyfic 2d image effect. It consists in modifying a sprite so it looks like it is being zoomed to a point or "absorbed" by that point. I'm not really sure what is the technical name of this effect so I cannot explain it correctly.     This should be totally simple but I can't get it working no matter what I try. I'm trying to use Google Analytics with GWT application. From what I understood, there are two way to do it: First is synchronous, by inserting tracking code at the end of <head> section HTML page and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ pageTracker._trackPageview(pageName); }-*/; Second is asynchronous, by inserting tracking code just after <body> tag and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ _gaq.push(['_trackPageview(' + pageName + ')']); }-*/; When running each of those methods, however, I get this exceptions in hosted mode: [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): pageTracker is not defined [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): _gaq is not defined When observing site in Firebug, I see that ga.js gets loaded, but that's about it. Did anyone get Analytics working with GWT? Also, does _gaq accept page name as trackPageview parameter, since all the examples I've seen use this call: _gaq.push(['_trackPageview()']); (Of course, that also doesn't work for me.)

Let's use it. But running this always brings up a window containing the transformed image, when what I want is to simply return the transformed image. The stupidest way to do what I want is to just close the window that comes up and return the image which it was displaying. Does what I want but is absolutely retarded: (defn x-polar [imageP] (let [thread (Thread/currentThread) options ""] (.setName thread "Run$_polar-transform") (Macro/setOptions thread options) (IJ/runPlugIn imageP "Polar_Transformer" "") (let [return-image (IJ/getImage)] (.hide return-image) return-image))) I'm obviously missing something about how to use imageJ plugins in a programming context.   • Scale image to completely fill bounding box

    For instance, if I need to fill a bounding box that is 100px wide by 50px tall, the following input images would have the following behavior: 200w x 200h gets scaled down 50% and 25% gets chopped off the top and bottom. 200w x 100h gets scaled down 50% with no cropping. 100w x 200h gets is not scaled, but 75px get chopped off top and bottom. This seems like it'd be a common resizing function, but I haven't been able to track down an example of the algorithm. Will accept answer in any language including pseudo code.     Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows if theres a connection between what a navigation item is named and the page heading it goes to - does this have an impact on SEO? so for example, if i had in my navigation menu an item called About Us, but when you click it you come to a page with the heading Learn Who We Are (i.e. wrapped in [h1] heading tags) because there isnt an exact one-to-one match, is that a bad thing in terms of SEO? thanks

  • Different results between Android Geocoder and Google Geocoding web service

    I am creating an Android application and I need to use the geolocation. I have started by using the Geocoder API from Android (android.location.geocoder) but it causes some issues (timed out waiting for response from server) which seem to be common according to what I have read. To make my application work when this kind of error occurs, I use the Geocoding web service. Now, the application works every time. The problem is that the results returned by the geocoder from API and the geocoder from the web service are not the same. For example the web service returns only 3 addresses with only city name and country whereas the geocoding from the API returns about 8 addresses with the feature name, the thoroughfare, the locality... The question is: is there a way to make the results from the web service exactly the same than the ones from the API?     Hi all, This may well be a little of an open-ended question The site I am working on requires to be optimised for performance. One of the key areas is to optimise the file sizes of the images used upon the site. Unfortunatley these images are being created by employees who do not have the required knowledge for creating images for the web, and it is my job to produce a set of guidelines for them to use. I was wondering whether there was any resource/guidlines/literature regarding typical images file sizes for images of different dimensions - as I would like to include something like this to aid them to ensure their images are being created properly.     I'm trying to manage revisions of files (not documents) stored in google docs programatically using gdata document list java library v3. I can create files and revisions using this tool : I can see them in the web UI. The thing is : the content of my revisions seems wrong. Here is my test protocol : I create a plain text file with "Hello World" in it. I upload it to gdocs without converting it. I create a revision of this file, its content changing to "Content of the second version" I create another revision, its content is now "Content of the third version" At each step, I check the content of each revision, using my app AND using the web UI. Here is what I get : First step : no problem i see one version containing the "Hello world" text Second step : no problem either, i see 2 versions, containing Hello World for the first one and Content of the second version for the second. Third step : here the problems comes. I see my 3 versions, but only the third and last seems to be correct. when i download the second version, the content is "Content of the second versio" (not a typo, it misses the 'n'). And i cannot even download the initial version, it seems to timeout. Important thing : I did not have this problem three weeks ago, my revision management worked well. I have no idea of what happens there, except it seems to be server-related, as the problem is seen either with my app or the google native webapp. Last thing : I tried using the google drive API as gdocs had been merged with drive. When i request revisions of my file, the API returns me an error saying that revisions are not supported for files, even if i can see them in the UI. I tried on converted documents, it worked. I'm looking for a workaround for this problem. Has anyone ever encountered such a problem ? Thanks in advance, Jérôme

I have a few records for example, one with "another time test" and another with "last test of time" if i search "test" the first comes up but the second doesn't, and if i search "time" the second comes up but not the first. It is only seeing the last word of the record. what gives?
