    Hello everyone, I've started a little game, and so far I'm moving a little guy with onKeyDown() and the DPAD from Android Emulator. Now what I want to do is to add 4 buttons on the screen (like in a GAMEBOY emulator for example) and these buttons should move my little guy. With a clickListener and onClick() (or touchListener and onTouch()), it's ok for one move but how to do if I want that my little guy continues moving when I stay clicked on the button ??? Buttons are enough or should I make a 4 arrows soft keyboard or anything else ?? Thanks

The code doesn't seem to be applied on rowdatabound and I can't break into the event. (It is wired).     Hi, I have a file where I keep all scripts so my pages wouldn't get messy (I have php file which generates required javascript). My includes basically look like this: </html> <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="script.php"></script> </head> <body> <input type="button" onClick="return blah();" /> </body> </html> In script.php there's jquery wrapper $(document).ready where I keep all jquery related stuff. The funny thing is, when I put function blah() inside this wrapper I get "blah is not defined" error, but when I put it outside - works perfectly. So, what could be the problem?

But, the alert is displaying twice - before and after the post back. Is there a way to allow users to enter in a comment and or rating for my app from directly within my app and have that data posted back to the Android Market? If so, what would the code for that look like if I used an EditText view to allow user input? If not, then is my only other option directly linking to my app in the Market (i.e. the user clicks the link in my app, or a button, and the Market app launches with my app page displayed)? I am using the Selenium extension for PHPUnit and I would like to test that the button is correctly redirecting the user. Here is the HTML that I am trying to test: <button onclick="window.location='/sponsor';" value="Continue" type="button" id="sponsorContinue" name="sponsorContinue">Continue</button> I have tried a lot of different approaches to click the button, but I can't seem to get any of them to work: $this->click("//button[@id='sponsorContinue']"); This command executes and does not throw any errors, but the page isn't redirected. It works fine when I manually click the button. What should I do?

I am currently making use of the Invoke method to search for DISPID_HTMLDOCUMENTEVENTS2_ONCLICK and have been successful in capturing the event. How can i access a HTML input on the page is filled up with values? (eg. i navigate to www.gmail.com, key in some values into the username and password, and my BHO is activated upon the onclick event?)   • Is window.location.href = 'some_page.html' followed by search engines?

    Currently our website uses links to allow the user to change their locale. The problem with this is that you get a lot of random outlinks from each page on the site to... the same page, in other languages. When a search engine traverses this, it gets an excessively complex view of the site. We were going to change it to a form post to avoid this. However, it seems to me that we should just be able to change it to an onclick="window.location.href='change_my_language.php'" rather than an href="change_my_language.php". Am I right? Or do the major search engines scan for and follow this sort of thing nowadays?

    Can the object of type HttpSession called session be accessed from a function? In a simple jsp page I have a function(see below) defined in the header of the page, and set to an onclick handle of for a button. When I press this button, I'll never see the second alert message. If I do something in the body of the page (like Session ID: <%= session.getId() % ) I have no trouble accessing it.   • Why is my form triggering the wrong controller action?

    This form has multiple submit buttons, when clicked, it calls a simple JavaScript function to change the value of a hidden input (function is called "setHidden". This worked before, after some other not relevant code, it has ceased working. Essentially, the action it is supposed to call is never called, instead it seems to default back to a previous URL.     You all know how annoying is this: I do have a log system and the correct error is well explicit there, but I want to give a better message to the user. But my problem is, i have a listview with each row there is progress bar. And is there any way to retain the progress while rotation for reach row. Me creating onclicklistener object for the button click listener in getview function of my adapter class. Where its onClick function call the AsyncTask class Since each getview (row) is calling different instant of my AsyncTask, i cannot make it static of single ton class. Any Idea on this. Thanks.

    This has to be a very simple fix, but I can't seem to figure it out. I have got my program to change the background color to change onClick, and onTouch with ACTION_DOWN and ACTION_UP. But I need it to change the color when touching the screen and going in and out of the TextView. I need it to function like a mouseOver/mouseOut event. Is there a way to do this on android? Or am I stuck with onTouch, where the action has to start from within the TextView? Right now I set the onTouch Listener on the textview itself. Should I set it somewhere else and then check if the x and y are within the Textview? Or is there another event listener I should be using? I am new to Android, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
