  • Eclipse Android Mac 10.4 problem, dyld: Symbol not found: _open$UNIX2003

    Hello I have just set up the Eclipse Android SDK environment. I tried creating a basic HelloWorld app by following this page http://developer.android.com/guide/tutorials/hello-world.html As soon as i set up the project i get get this error in the console [2010-06-09 23:12:22 - Helloworld] dyld: Symbol not found: _open$UNIX2003 [2010-06-09 23:12:22 - Helloworld] Referenced from: /usr/lib/android-sdk-mac_86/platforms/android-3/tools/aapt [2010-06-09 23:12:22 - Helloworld] Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib [2010-06-09 23:12:22 - Helloworld] Is it something to do do with my MacOS version ? plz hlp ! :S

  • Missing Siverlight templates in Visual Studio 2008

    Hello ! I have Visual Studio 2008 (sp1, .NET 3.5). I have installed Silverlight 3 SDK and Silverlight 4 SDK beta + Sivelrlight toolkit. I also have installed Windows Phone Developer Tools CTP that includes Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone CTP. I have noticed that when i start a new project in VS2008 all the Silverlight templates are missing. Any tip how to get them? Thanx !

    Dear all, I downloaded the Windows Phone 7 SDK yesterday but when I installed it on my Windows XP it complaint that it needs to be installed on Windows 7. My question is, is it possible to install the Windows Phone 7 SDK or develop for Windows Phone 7 on WinXP? Is there any workaround that has been made to overcome this? Thank you for your help.

    When I run KitchenSink example project on iPhone emulator everything is OK, but trying to launch for Android emulator produces errors: [ERROR] /Users/lukasz/Android/android-sdk-mac_x86/tools/apkbuilder [ERROR] Failed installing com.appcelerator.kitchensink: pkg: /data/local/tmp/app.apk It happens whatever Androig API I choose (from 1.5 to 2.2 or from APIs 1.5 to APIs 2.2). I am using Titanium Developer 1.2.1, titanium SDK 1.4.1.11 Where is the problem? As far as I can see Android SDKs and platforms work correctly because I can successfully compile Android projects from diffrent IDE (Netbeans).

    On Windows XP, I ran "configure", and Qt says that I'm configured to use phonon, but I'm not sure how to set up my environment correctly in Qt Creator. According to the Qt documentation, I need to call: Set DXSDK_DIR=C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2007) %DXSDK_DIR%\utilities\bin\dx_setenv.cmd C:\program files\Microsoft Platform SDK\setenv.cmd How do I do this in the Qt Creator IDE?     I am trying to convert an Adobe CS4 based plugin to CS5. This project has never been mine, this is the first time that i am seeing it. When I compile the source with what i was given, I get errors like: Does not name a type Example: SPAPI SPErr SPBasicAcquireSuite( const char *name, int64 version, const void **suite ); I get that: SPErr does not name a type I dont see any classes with SPErr being defined, but I doubt that Adobe has left this out of the SDK. I am using the PS_CS5_SDK_3 SDK

    Are there any ways to get count of current unfinished tasks at Google Appengine development server? I need it for making my integration test. I found a way to get this when running it local (just in mem), as described at appengine docs. But when i'm running it as a standalone server, from maven, this doesn't work. Just because library appengine-testing conflicts with Appengine SDK classes, and i can't use those classes together, when running sdk dev server.

I'm running Mac OSX and each time I try to run layoutopt, for example, the terminal returns, *-bash: cmd: command not found * Also, is it okay to have my SDK located in the Developer directory and my android project in some unrelated directory when using these tools?

But, when I start this one, I get the following error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.jpa.DatastorePersistenceProvider However, this class is present in the sdk which is present in my classpath. Why Appengine doesn't find this class ? Thanks.

    I recently updated one of my models by adding a db.ListProperty(): class DependencyArcTail(db.Model): courses = db.ListProperty(db.Key) ''' newly added ''' forwardLinks = db.ListProperty(db.Key) However, I can't seem to get this to be reflected in the SDK dashboard. I cleared the datastore and reloaded it. Then I ran the procedures that create the DependencyArcTail objects. However, forwardLinks still doesn't show up as an attribute in the SDK dashboard. What's happening?

    During the initial release of the HadoopOnAzure, Microsoft had provided the C#Isotope SDK as a programatic interface to the Hadoop cluster on the Azure. After the HDInsight release this is removed from the downoads. More over while trying with the previous version of the sdk we get a 500 - Internal Server Error. Any idea if this services is disabled?
