    I have the wisdom to learn assembly language,so I search through the internet for the information about this language,and came across some page telling that assembly is a low level native language and varied from one to another processor,so I just wonder,I'm currently running an intel based processor,I've no idea whether it is x86 or what,but I just wanna know,Does it possible for me to learn other processor arhchitecture assembly on my pc??Besides,is there any good books that could guide me through learning the intel architecture assembly.

That means that on the page I have to set something that the HttpModule can then react on. If possible I would like to avoid having call context data in the session.     Usual method of applying mathematics to variables is a * b Is it able to calculate and manipulate two operands like this? a = input('enter a value') b = input('enter a value') op = raw_input('enter a operand') then how do i connect op and two variables a and b?? i know i can compare op to +, -, %, $ and then assign and compute.... but can i do something like a op b , how to tell compiler that op is an operator?? any tweaks possible?

    I have a div element containing some text. When the user clicks a word inside that div I'd like to highlight just that word. In order to do this I need to know what character position in the text the click occurred at, so I can then locate nearby whitespace and insert some formatting around the word. Finding out where the click occurred within the text is the trick here. Is that kind of thing possible?

I wonder whether it is still possible because the box-shadow element is able to render shadow inside like this: box-shadow: inset 0px -5px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); Any ideas?

  • sessions get destroyed after return from sage gateway

    I have developed a module using SagePay Form integration method. It works fine until it returns from the Sagepay site and all of my local user session vars are destroyed for some reason.Thus i am unable to use my own created session vars and save information about a user regarding that specific order. The url's it returns to are success and failure urls. What might be the possible reason? Please any help is appreciated. Regards.

    Hi, I'm developing a Work item Custom Control and I need to use the standard VS's Merge Wizard for items in source control from my code to allow to user choose the target branch, resolve conflicts etc. I'm pretty sure it's possible in some way (even through the reflection), but I just can't find the proper class in any of VS client assemblies (Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Controls.dll, Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Client.dll).   • ELMAH - Using custom error pages to collecting user feedback

    Hey guys I'm looking at using ELMAH for the first time but have a requirement that needs to be met that I'm not sure how to go about achieving... Basically, I am going to configure ELMAH to work under asp.net MVC and get it to log errors to the database when they occur. On top of this I be using customErrors to direct the user to a friendly message page when an error occurs. Fairly standard stuff... The requirement is that on this custom error page I have a form which enables to user to provide extra information if they wish. Now the problem arises due to the fact that at this point the error is already logged and I need to associate the loged error with the users feedback. Normally, if I was using my own custom implementation, after I log the error I would pass through the ID of the error to the custom error page so that an association can be made. But because of the way that ELMAH works, I don't think the same is quite possible. Hence I was wondering how people thought that one might go about doing this.... Cheers UPDATE: My solution to the problem is as follows: public class UserCurrentConextUsingWebContext : IUserCurrentConext { private const string _StoredExceptionName = "System.StoredException."; private const string _StoredExceptionIdName = "System.StoredExceptionId."; public virtual string UniqueAddress { get { return HttpContext.Current.Request.UserHostAddress; } } public Exception StoredException { get { return HttpContext.Current.Application[_StoredExceptionName + this.UniqueAddress] as Exception; } set { HttpContext.Current.Application[_StoredExceptionName + this.UniqueAddress] = value; } } public string StoredExceptionId { get { return HttpContext.Current.Application[_StoredExceptionIdName + this.UniqueAddress] as string; } set { HttpContext.Current.Application[_StoredExceptionIdName + this.UniqueAddress] = value; } } } Then when the error occurs, I have something like this in my Global.asax: public void ErrorLog_Logged(object sender, ErrorLoggedEventArgs args) { var item = new UserCurrentConextUsingWebContext(); item.StoredException = args.Entry.Error.Exception; item.StoredExceptionId = args.Entry.Id; } Then where ever you are later you can pull out the details by var item = new UserCurrentConextUsingWebContext(); var error = item.StoredException; var errorId = item.StoredExceptionId; item.StoredException = null; item.StoredExceptionId = null; Note this isn't 100% perfect as its possible for the same IP to have multiple requests to have errors at the same time. But the likely hood of that happening is remote. And this solution is independent of the session, which in our case is important, also some errors can cause sessions to be terminated, etc. Hence why this approach has worked nicely for us.

    I have an odd behavior with code clean up for c# in visual studio 2008 Team Developer Edition. Whenever I clean up my code using "Full Cleanup" it replaces all var declaration with explicit type declarations. But I have set the appropriate settings under "Inspection Severity" "Use var keyword when initializer explictly declares type" and "use var keyword when possible" to "Show as Error" Is there any other setting I need to set or is this a known bug?

    Is it right that the procedure of using log4j looks like this: 1) put a .properties file somewhere in a project folder 2) in an initialization method, that runs only once, invoke PropertyConfigurator.configure("path_to_file"); 3) in every method we need to use logger we define a static logger variable and simply invoke getLogger(class) I'm asking you this: what if the initialization module is not defined? Where to put "log4j.properties" file so that we wouldn't need to invoke propertyconfigurator.configure at all, or if it's not possible, is it ok to invoke PropertyConfigurator.configure("path_to_file") in every method that uses a logger?
