  I'm trying to debug a slightly-modified version of the ADO.NET POCO Entity Generator template using the directions Oleg Sych published a few years back. I modified the DbgJITDebugLaunchSetting key as recommended. I get a dialog indicating that a user-defined breakpoint has been hit. However, rather than being presented with the option to start a new instance of VS 2010 to debug, the original instance of VS 2010 just crashes and auto-restarts. Is it possible to debug T4 templates with VS 2010?

  I'm currently using the JPGEncoder from the AS3 core lib to encode a bitmap to JPEG var enc:JPGEncoder = new JPGEncoder(90); var jpg:ByteArray = enc.encode(bitmap); Because the bitmap is rather large (3000 x 2000) the encoding takes a long while (about 20 seconds), causing the application to seemingly freeze while encoding. To solve this, I need either: An asynchronous encoder so I can keep updating the screen (with a progress bar or something) while encoding An alternative encoder which is simply faster Is either possible?

  I have a table with a column 'A'. Some rows have 14 digits for the column 'A' and some have only 12. I need to transform all the entries to 14 digits. The datatype is varchar I would like to update all the rows at once (one query), adding zeros before the first digit, so an entry like 012345678910 would become 00012345678910.   I have a div element containing some text. When the user clicks a word inside that div I'd like to highlight just that word. In order to do this I need to know what character position in the text the click occurred at, so I can then locate nearby whitespace and insert some formatting around the word. Finding out where the click occurred within the text is the trick here. Is that kind of thing possible?
