  • Extending DataGrid/Changing DataGrids header

    Is there any way how to override DataGrids header line ? Or at least its behaviour ? I'm trying to implement Outlook-like grouping of the table. That is allow user to drag column header out of the table to the dedicated area to sort by that column (for example XamDataGrid has that feature, you can see how it works here). I cannot use any commercial solutions. I will be thankfull for any experiences, ideas, code, notes or tutorials.

  • Dreamweaver CS4 - How do you preview in Browser?

    I'm new to Dreamweaver CS4 and making my first website. I've watched a lot of tutorials and they all just click the Preview in Browser button and they can see what their page looks like in Firefox/IE/etc. But when I click Preview in Browser a new Firefox window opens up and it goes to my homepage and that's it. What do I need to setup in order be able to preview in firefox? THANKS!

    I'm just diving into ruby development for a class assignment and the machines at my Uni have only got ruby 1.8.7 on them so I need to develop for that. I have found tutorials on the web for ruby = 1.9 and rspec that are really good but I haven't found anything for ruby 1.8.7 (I'm guessing it's pretty dated?). Does anyone have anything using rspec testing and has an indepth discussion on ruby 1.8.7 for me? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

What is the right way to first retrieve the content length and then start reading the content from an InputStream? EDIT To avoid common answers that show how to load images from a URL: i already know how to do that, i have also posted the code above, so why do you keep referencing tutorials on that? I explicitly was very clear about the problem: Why is HttpClient.execute(...)already fetching the whole content and storing it in memory instead of providing a proper ÌnputStreamto me? Please don't post any beginner tutorials on how to load aBitmap`from a URL...

    I am working on Silverlight 3.0 and currently using code-behind in my Views. I would like to implement the MV(VM) pattern into my project as the project is growing. I have seen some WPF projects where the code-behind has NO CODE except for the InitializeComponent method, which I believe is the right way to go and just looks clean. Is this possible in Silverlight 3.0, that is, no code-behind? Can anyone point me to some good Silverlight (3.0) MV(VM) tutorials / articles?

I've been searching everywhere for something on how to fully make a navigation-based iphone app, but all I've found is how to set up table views or navigation controllers. I haven't found anything on how to create a data model (something simple from arrays and dictionaries, SQLite and CoreData are a bit out of my scope) or navigate it. Is it in the root (ie "src") or within a package...     I uploaded my wordpress site from my Local host to a folder off my main domain (http://example.com/folder) using this tutorial http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/exporting-and-importing-wordpress/ (im working on a mac) Everything went ok - admin panel is fine homepage is fine etc - only any page apart from the homepage redirects to this (http://example.com/folder/pagename) except instead of showing the content from that page it shows the unstyled information from the index page of my main root (http://example.com/) What can I do to get this working?     So, I've been doing android application tutorials and everytime I create a package, for example the helloAndroid tutorial is com.example.android. When it saves this to src it creates a folder for com, another for example and one last one for android.
