When I fill textbox with my card number i recieve remaining amount. Now, i want to speed that process with ie8 web slice. So is it possible to get data from another webserver page and than display it in my web slice on my web server. I tried to use XMLHTTP request but it can be only used on same domains.   I've got some json from last.fm's api which I've serialised into a dictionary using simplejson. A quick example of the basic structure is below. { "artist": "similar": { "artist": { "name": "Blah", "image": {"#text":"URLHERE","size": "small"} "image": {"#text":"URLHERE","size": "medium"} "image": {"#text":"URLHERE","size": "large"} } } } Any ideas how I can access the image urls of various different sizes. My attempts at accessing the #text variable don't seem to work because python doesn't appear to like #'s in the names. And any ideas how I can easily get the url for the depending on the size? • Update Store Logo Programmatically Magento

  I've noticed that magento keeps the URL to the logo it uses for each store you setup in the "core_config_data" table. If I run this SQL: SELECT * FROM `core_config_data` WHERE path = 'design/header/logo_src' I get a list of stores and their associated logo. I also get a config_id and a scope_id. I'd like to be able to update these logo's programmatically behind the scenes but I can't figure out how to relate this table's data back to a store name. config_id and store_id got to somehow link back to another table that sets up the relationship. Magento's EAV model, ugh :) Any ideas?

  I have used c:forEach loop for display the list of images using h:graphicImage. But I can't display the images. I have the h:commandLink also in my page. The image have to be displayed at the time of form inititalization. But its not working. But after click the h:commandlink, the images are displayed properly. Before that it shows the image not found text (alt message). I have used h:graphicImage tag like below <c:forEach items="#{Sample.imageList}" var="images" varstatus="imageStatus"> <h:graphicimage id="image" url="#{images}" alt="Image Not Found"/> </c:forEach> What I do wrong in that and how can I achieve that?

  Hi all, I have a webform with background images on the textboxes to give them a nice rounded corner. In Chrome the textboxes work as expected, however, if I view the form in Firefox the cursor appears to size to the height of the image, but the text is a normal size. Is there a way to override this oversized cursor? • Debugging ASP.NET with IIS

  I've set up debugging in Visual Studio 2008 to IIS instead of the built in server so I can run url rewriting while developing (using IIRF). It took a while to get to work (changing permissions, reinstalling the .NET framework) but it was working. I turned off my machine, and now that it's back on the debugger won't start. I'm using Parallels with WinXP on an iMac. "Unable to start debugging on the web server. Could not start ASP.NET debugging. More information may be available by starting the project without debugging" I read a whole bunch of posts on SO as well as googled the subject but none seem to provide a working answer. Has anyone encountered this and knows how to get it to work? Thanks.

  Hello, Im looking a way to use different IP addresses for each GET request with standard Net::HTTP library. Server has 5 ip addresses and assuming that some API`s are blocking access when request limit per IP is reached. So, only way to do it - use another server. I cant find anything about it in ruby docs. For example, curl allows you to attach it to specific ip address (in PHP): $req = curl_init($url) curl_setopt($req, CURLOPT_INTERFACE, 'ip.address.goes.here'; $result = curl_exec($req); Is there any way to do it with Net::HTTP library? As alternative - CURB (ruby curl binding). But it will be the latest thing i`ll try. Suggestions / Ideas?

  So I have this shopping list coded in php and js: http://www.whatcouldicook.com/recipes/planner So people can add, delete or sort the list and thats fine, I dont want multiple lists and instead just have a list item containing a heading tag to represent a new list. All this works and then using serialize I can save the ordering/modifying of the list. I don't know how to get the list contents however as these will be dynamic from the user.   I'm using Eclipse Juno to create jax-ws webservice on WebSphere® Application Server V8.5 Tools. The WebService sometimes are created but most often he fails to create wsdl. For exemplify, i try to create a simple webservice named Web: import javax.jws.WebMethod; import javax.jws.WebService; @WebService public class Web { @WebMethod public String getName() { return "myName"; } } After deploy this webservice and viewing WebSphere administration page not exists any service named WebService. I tried too access the generated WebSphere wsdl from the url localhost:9080/MyProject/WebService/WebService.wsdl but this not exists. My project have a configured MANIFEST file that contains: Manifest-Version: 1.0 UseWSFEP61ScanPolicy: true I'm actually using servlet 3.0 but tried with 2.3. Anyone can help me to do WebSphere approprieate scan annotations of ws-jax and create wsdl on server?

• Axis xsd:dateTime issue

  Here is the whole thing. I 'm using a webservice, with wsdl2java I generate classes and communicate with another application. Problem is , when I use a method from my generated WS client that is resulting in data that contains some object with data in format xsd:dateTime(Axis 1.4), and that data is represensted by java.util.Calendar object in java has time shifted to GMT(about two hours before my time zone). That results in bad data that I have to substract two hours to display correct value. My question is, considering I didn't work on building that webservice(all I have is wsdl url) where is the problem and can I fix it or the problem is at the side of the webservice creator. If I'm it is not clear what I am asking I will gladly explain as much as I can.

• Padding to the left and right of a floated image, in IE only.

  Generally I seem to be able to fix IE problems nowadays.. but this one realy has me stuck! Take a look at the screenshot below to see the problem or visit the url to see the problem. http://homedynamics.com/sawgrass/floorplan.php I have made sure the ul li and img's are all cleared (padding:0; margin:0; border:0;) and still there is padding added to the left and right of the images. I also did "display: block" on images with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!!

  I made an AJAX call and it works on FF & Chrome but not on IE 7-8-9. I checked if there is an extra comma and the content is also trimmed. See my JSON file If I put dataType: 'text', I receive the OK alert but a debug popup too. Could you help me? Regards.

  Hello. I use mod_rewrite/.htaccess for pretty URLs. I'm using this condition/rule to eliminate trailing slashes (or rather: rewrite to the non-trailing-slash-URL, by a 301 redirect; I'm doing this to avoid duplicate content and because I like URLs with no trailing slashes better): RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^\.localhost$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.+)/$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L] Working well so far. Only drawback: it also forwards "multiple-trailing-slash"-URLs to non-trailing-slash-URLs. Example: http://example.tld/foo/bar////// forwards to http://example.tld/foo/bar while I only want http://example.tld/foo/bar/ to forward to http://example.tld/foo/bar. So, is it possible to only eliminate trailing slashes if it's actually just one trailing slash? Sorry if this is a somewhat annoying or weird question! Thanks.
