• Batch break up after call other batch file

  i have the problem, that my batch process breaking up each time after call a other batch file. The batch files are used to run a make process out from IBM Rhapsody. There convert the call from Rhapsody to the Visual Studio tools. So nmake will be called from the batch after make different settings. The scripts aren’t written completely from me, I only adapt theme to run under both windows architecture versions, x86 and x64. The first script (vs2005_make.bat) will be called from Rhapsody and run to the “call” statement. The second script (Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat) runs to the end. But the first script isn’t resume working, at this point the process break up without a error message. I'm not very familiar with batch files, this is the first time I make more than simple console commands in a batch file. So I hope I have given all information’s which needed, otherwise ask me. • Intermittent 404 on select assets, LAMP stack

  We have a LAMP stack WordPress server that is serving most assets correctly. However, one plugin's CSS file and several images are returning soft 404s roughly 20% of the time. I can't find any reference to the 404 in the access logs, but the browser is definitely receiving a 404 response from somewhere (WordPress, I would assume). When I use an alias URL that does not match the site URL but does resolve to the asset path, the resource loads correctly 100% of the time. However, using the site url only resolves for the select, problematic assets 20% of the time. You can test one of the problematic assets here: http://www.mreco.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/zero-cost.jpg However the alias link always resolves correctly: http://mr-eco.wordpress.promocampaigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/zero-cost.jpg Stranger, if I attempt to access outdated content that definitely does not exist on the server, at the live URL it returns the content roughly 50% of the time. Using the alias link, it 404s 100% of the time - the correct behavior. Error log and PHP error log are clean. In the past, inconsistently 404ing assets have been because of out-of-sync instances behind a load balancer. In this case, it is a single instance behind the load balancer. Because of the inconsistency, it feels like a caching issue. We don't make use of Apache caching, and as far as I know WordPress should not be caching either. What I've done so far: Reset WordPress permalinks Disabled WordPress plugins Re-generated WordPress .htaccess file Swapped ServerName and ServerAlias directives Cleared browser cache Confirmed disk location of resources Checked PHP, access, and error logs Confirmed correct DNS setup (can post if necessary) I'm at a total loss. • jqGrid dynamic select option

  I'm creating a jqgrid with drop down columns and I'm using cell editing. I need the options of the drop down columns to change dynamically and I've tried implementing this by setting the column to be: { name: "AccountLookup", index: "AccountLookup", width: 90, editable: true, resizable: true, edittype: "select", formatter: "select" }, and then in the beforeCellEdit event I have: beforeEditCell: function(id, name, val, iRow, iCol) { if(name=='AccountLookup') { var listdata = GetLookupValues(id, name); if (listdata == null) listdata = "1:1"; jQuery("#grid").setColProp(name, { editoptions: { value: listdata.toString()} }) } }, GetLookupValues just returns a string in the format "1:One;2:Two" etc. That works fine however the options are populated one click behind - ie i click on AccountID in row 1, and the dropdown is empty, however when I then click on AccountID in row 3 the options I set in the row 1 click are shown in the row 3 click. And so on. So always one click behind. Is there another way of achieving what I need? Bacially the dropdown options displayed are always changing and I need to load them as user enters the cell for editing. Perhaps I can somehow get at the select control in the beforeEditCell event and manually enter its values instead of using the setColProp call? If so could I get an example of doing that please? Another thing - if the dropdown is empty and a user doesn't cancel the cell edit, the grid script throws an error. I'm using clientarray editing if that makes a difference. Below is the code i am using: Ext.Ajax.request({ url: incomingURL , method: 'POST', params: {param1:p1, param2:p2}, success: function(responseObject){ var obj = Ext.decode(responseObject.responseText); alert(obj); }, failure: function(responseObject){ var obj = Ext.decode(responseObject.responseText); alert(obj); } }); but it does not work, the request is sent using OPTIONS method instead of POST. I also tried to do the same thing using below code but result is the same: var conn = new Ext.data.Connection(); conn.request({ url: incomingURL, method: 'POST', params: {param1:p1, param2:p2}, success: function(responseObject) { Ext.Msg.alert('Status', 'success'); }, failure: function(responseObject) { Ext.Msg.alert('Status', 'Failure'); } }); But when i tried to do the same thing using basic ajax call ( using the browser objects directly i.e. XMLHttpRequest() or ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")) it works fine and i get the response as expected. Can anyone please help me, as i am not able to understand what i am doing wrong with extjs ajax call?

  Hello, How can I, using jQuery, set the "next" item of an already selected item as "selected." For example, if I have: <select> <option value="1" >Number 1</option> <option value="2" selected="selected">Number 2</option> <option value="3" >Number 3</option> <option value="4" >Number 4</option> </select> We can see that "Number 2" is selected, and using jQuery, I'd like to set "Number 3" as selected, and remove the selected "attribute" from "Number 2". • Call webservice from Android using KSoap simply returning "error" string

  I'm trying to use ksoap to call a simple webservice. I followed this video to try to get started. When I call "getResponse()" on the envelope I just get the string "Error". There's no exceptions thrown or any other detail. I've successfully connected to a simple webservice I just setup on my local machine. Could this potentially be related to being behind a proxy server here at work?   I have few Question for which I am not able to get a proper answer . 1) Why should we call SuppressFinalize in the Dispose function when we dont have a destructor . 2) Dispose and finalize are used for freeing resources before the object is garbage collected. Whether it is managed or unmanaged resource we need to free it , then why we need a condition inside the dispose funtion , saying pass 'true' when we call this overriden function from IDisposable:Dispose and pass false when called from a finalize.   Hello guys, I'm having troubles with the logic and would apprecite any help/tips. I have <Deposits> elements and <Receipts> elements. However there isn't any identification what receipt was paid toward what deposit. I am trying to update the <Deposits> elements with the following attributes: @DueAmont - the amount that is still due to pay @Status - whether it's paid, outstanding (partly paid) or due @ReceiptDate - the latest receipt's date that was paid towards this deposit Every deposit could be paid with one or more receipts. It also could happen, that 1 receipt could cover one or more deposits. For example. If there are 3 deposits: 500 100 450 That are paid with the following receipts: 200 100 250 I want to get the following info: Deposit 1 is fully paid (status=paid, dueAmount=0, receiptNum=3. Deposit 2 is partly paid (status=outstanding, dueAmount=50, receiptNum=3. Deposit 3 is not paid (status=due, dueAmount=450, receiptNum=NAN. I've added comments in the code explaining what I'm trying to do. I am staring at this code for the 3rd day now non stop - can't see what I'm doing wrong. I've found that on Windows there is a problem calling multiple stored procedures. If you try it you get the following error message: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2014 Cannot execute queries while other unbuffered queries are active. Consider using PDOStatement::fetchAll(). Alternatively, if your code is only ever going to run against mysql, you may enable query buffering by setting the PDO::MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY attribute. I found that to work around this issue I could just close the connection to the database after each call to a stored procedure: if (strtoupper(substr(PHP_OS, 0, 3)) === 'WIN') { //If on windows close the connection $db->closeConnection(); } This has worked well for me, however, now I want to call multiple stored procedures wrapped in a transaction. Of course, closing the connection isn't an option in this situation, since it causes a rollback of the open transaction. Any ideas, how to fix this problem and/or work around the issue.   I am having some trouble understanding the behavior of the following Scheme program: (define c (dynamic-wind (lambda () (display 'IN)(newline)) (lambda () (call/cc (lambda (k) (display 'X)(newline) k))) (lambda () (display 'OUT)(newline)))) As I understand, c will be bound to the continution created right before "(display 'X)". But using c seems to modify itself! The define above prints (as I expected) IN, X and OUT: IN X OUT And it is a procedure: #;2> c #<procedure (a9869 . results1678)> Now, I would expect that when it is called again, X would be printed, and it is not! #;3> (c) IN OUT And now c is not a procedure anymore, and a second invokation of c won't work! #;4> c ;; the REPL doesn't answer this, so there are no values returned #;5> (c) Error: call of non-procedure: #<unspecified> Call history: <syntax> (c) <eval> (c) <-- I was expecting that each invokation to (c) would do the same thing -- print IN, X, and OUT. • jquery - radio button not checked on page load, but checked on same function call later

  Hi, I'm having a strange problem with jquery. When my page loads, I dynamically create some simple radio buttons in a special i've created. However, the default radio button is not checked. It is checked however when the change() event is triggered later, but is never checked the first time. Can someone help? I am certain that the change() event is triggered on the page load, because the rest of the HTML is added dynamically and I can see it. • GridView not DataBinding Automatically after ObjectDataSource Select Method

  I've created a objectadasource that returns a datatable, the gridview is binded to this datasource. the ODS have parameters assigned on the Page_Load event, and the ODS returns the data ok and the gridview shows it fine. the problem is i have a textbox with a filter. first I created a filterexpression in gridview, using the contents of the textbox, worked fine for me. but now I've enabled the paging in gridview. then the filterexpression is not useful now, since the ODS returns only the rows of the pagesize of gridview. I did a new ODS method that select data from parameters page and pagesize according to GridView, and it's OK. now my filter textbox passes his text property to a parameter of the ods select method, then the ods gets the data based on my filter and shows it in the grid. on the Page_Load: ObjectDataSource_Lista.SelectParameters["search"].DefaultValue = filter; ObjectDataSource_Lista.SelectParameters["id"].DefaultValue = ID.ToString(); but when I change the value of the filter, the grid doesn't refresh. on debugging. I see that the ODS Select Method is refreshed ok, but the GridView don't. So I need to call mannually the Databind() method of the grid, to refresh data. the problem is, I have a commandbutton on the grid, and if I manually databind(), the command button stops functioning, generating Page ValidateRequest errors. My question is: how to databind() the grid automatically after the datasource refreshed? ps: on the ODS Selected event, causes a infinite loop and the debug webserver crashes. Temporary solution: Created a Variable private bool wasdatabound; on the event GridView_Databound, set wasdatabound = true; on the Page_PreRenderComplete, if ((GridView1.Visible) && (!databounded)) GridView1.DataBind();

  Hello, Is there any scalable Win32 API (like IOCP not like select) that gives you reactor style operations on sockets? AFAIK IOCP allows you to receive notification on completed operations like data read or written (proactor) but I'm looking for reactor style of operations: I need to get notification when the socket is readable or writable (reactor). Something similar to epoll, kqueue, /dev/poll ? Is there such API in Win32? If so where can I find a manual on it? Clearification: I need select like api for sockets that is as scalable as IOCP, or I'm looking for a way to use IOCP in reactor like operations.

• NHibernate Session per Call in WCF - How to Rollback

  I've implemented some components to use WCF with both an IoC Container (StructureMap) and the Session per Call pattern. The NHibernate stuff is most taken from here: http://realfiction.net/Content/Entry/133. It seems to be OK, but I want to open a transaction with each call and commit at the end, rather than just Flush() which how its being done in the article. Here's where I am running into some problems and could use some advice. I haven't figured out a good way to rollback. I realize I can check the CommunicationState and if there's an exception, rollback, like so: public void Detach(InstanceContext owner) { if (Session != null) { try { if(owner.State == CommunicationState.Faulted) RollbackTransaction(); else CommitTransaction(); } finally { Session.Dispose(); } } } void CommitTransaction() { if(Session.Transaction != null && Session.Transaction.IsActive) Session.Transaction.Commit(); } void RollbackTransaction() { if (Session.Transaction != null && Session.Transaction.IsActive) Session.Transaction.Rollback(); } However, I almost never return a faulted state from a service call. I would typically handle the exception and return an appropriate indicator on my response object and rollback the transaction myself. The only way I can think of handling this would be to inject not only repositories into my WCF services, but also an ISession so I can rollback and handle the way I want. That doesn't sit well with me and seems kind of leaky. Anyone else handling the same problem?

• Check For Duplicate Records VS try/catch Unique Key Constraint

  I have a database table that has a Unique Key constraint defined to avoid duplicate records from occurring. I'm curious if it is bad practice to NOT manually check for duplicate records prior to running an INSERT statement on the table. In other words, should I run a SELECT statement using a WHERE clause that checks for duplicate values of the record that I am about to INSERT. If a record is found, then do not run the INSERT statement, otherwise go ahead and run the INSERT.... OR Just run the INSERT statement and try/catch the exception that may be thrown due to a Unique Key violation. I'm weighing the two perspectives and can't decide which is best- 1. Don't waste a SELECT call to check for duplicates when I can just trap for an exception VS 2. Don't be lazy by implementing ugly try/catch logic VS 3. ???Your thoughts here??? :)

In order to add some custom validation I have inserted a validation call into the setter of a property, yet despite it being private, it seems that the unmarshaller does not call the setter but directly modifies the private field. • Another IKImageView Question: copying a region

  I'm trying to use the select and copy feature of the IKImageView. If all you want to do is have an app with an image, select a portion and copy it to the clipboard, it's easy. You set the copy menu pick to the first responder's copy:(id) method and magically everything works. However, if you want something more complicated, like you want to copy as part of some other operation, I can't seem to find the method to do this. IKImageView doesn't seem to have a copy method, it doesn't seem to have a method that will even tell you the selected rectangle! I have gone through Hillegass' book, so I understand how the clipboard works, just not how to get the portion of the image out of the view... Now, I'm starting to think that I made a mistake in basing my project on IKImageView, but it's what Preview is built on (or so I've read), so I figured it had to be stable... and anyway, now it's too late, I'm too deep in this to start over... So, other than not using IKImageView, any suggestions on how to copy the select region to the clipboard manually? EDIT actually, I have found the copy(id) method, but when I call it, I get <Error>: CGBitmapContextCreate: unsupported parameter combination: 8 integer bits/component; 16 bits/pixel; 1-component color space; kCGImageAlphaPremultipliedLast; 2624 bytes/row. Which obviously doesn't happen when I do a normal copy through the first-responder... I understand the error message, but I'm not sure where it's getting those parameters from... Is there any way to trace through this and see how this is happening? A debugger won't help for obvious reasons, as well as the fact that I'm doing this in Mozilla, so a debugger isn't an option anyway... EDIT 2 It occurs to me that the copy:(id) method I found may be copying the VIEW rather than copying a chunk of the image to the clipboard, which is what I need. The reason I thought it was the clipboard copy is that in another project, where I'm copying from an IKImageView to the clipboard straight from the edit menu, it just sends a copy:(id) to the firstResponder, but I'm not actually sure what the firstresponder does with it...

• MySQL - Calculating a value from two columns in each row, using the result in a WHERE or HAVING clause

  I have a MySQL db schema like so: id flags views done ------------------------------- 1 2 20 0 2 66 100 0 3 25 40 0 4 30 60 0 ... thousands of rows ... I want to update all of the rows whose flags / views are = 0.2. First as a test I want to try to SELECT to see how many rows would actually get updated. I tried: SELECT flags/views AS poncho FROM mytable HAVING poncho 0.2 But this only returns like 2 rows and I know there should be a lot more than that. It seems like it's calculating the poncho value on all rows or something odd. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
