Are Cross Domain Flash Local Shared Objects (LSO aka Flash Cookie) possible

Hi, I found several solutions for creating Flash LSOs from JavaScript (for example: http://www.nuff-respec.com/technology/cross-browser-cookies-with-flash ) If Page (www.hostA.com/index.html) and the .swf file are from the same site, everything works fine. No I'm trying to load the page form www.hostA.com/index.html, which includes www.hostB.com/flashcookie.swf (different sites). But then I cannot read or store the LSO. I have tried several configurations (crossdomain.xml, Security.allowDomain("...") ), but nothing works. Is this kind of cross domain access to a LSO possible? Thanks -stephan

How to use 3rd party libraries in glassfish?

I need to connect to a MongoDB instance from my EJB3 application, running on glassfish 3.0.1. The Mongo project provides a set of drivers, and I'm able to use them in a standalone Java application. How would I use them in a JEE application? Or maybe better phrasing: how would I make a 3rd party library available to my application when it runs in an EJB container? Should the rfc1034identifier be removed from the CFBundleIdentifier in plist file?

In my Xcode project's plist file, I can see the value for the key CFBundleIdentifier is: com.mycompany.${PRODUCT_NAME:rfc1034identifier} Obviously I will have to change com.mycompany to the domain name of my company, but I have no idea whether the rfc1034identifier should be removed so that it becomes: com.mycompany.${PRODUCT_NAME} Google did not help answering my question. Does this rfc1034identifier affect the AppID that I should provide in the iPhone Developer program - Provisioning Portal?

Unwanted Log4J output in a Tomcat app

I have the following log4j config setup for my Web app which is being deployed to Tomcat: # Set root logger level to DEBUG and its only appender to A1. log4j.rootLogger=INFO, A1 # A1 is set to be a ConsoleAppender. log4j.appender.A1=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender # A1 uses PatternLayout. log4j.appender.A1.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.A1.layout.ConversionPattern=%m%n log4j.logger.org.hibernate=WARN log4j.logger.org.apache=WARN And it is being picked up by the Log4J as modifying the ConversionPattern affects the logs printed to the console. How to configure Spring JavaMailSenderImpl for Gmail

I am trying to find the correct properties to use to connect to the Gmail SMTP sever using the JavaMailSenderImpl class. Let me first say that I have tried the approach found here. This worked fine. But when I tried the configuration below that post with the exact same authentication information I received a javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException. Jabber integration into site and multiple domains

Hi all, I'm creating a centralised web product, i.e. a customer gets assigned a personal domain, for example company1.example.com or company2.example.com and can then use our service. I'm planning to integrate a jabber service into the website. I have already found a decent jabber client library which I can use for the site. I know that jabberd2 uses mysql, which is perfect because I want to use the web interface to add users, delete users, view message logs etc. However, my problem is when I have two companies or more. I would like a jabber server which can host multiple domains, i.e. jabber.company1.example.com, jabber.company2.example.com Do you have any experience of this? And do you know of a good jabber server which will do this? Any help would be hugely appreciated!

I am loading my pages inside a div. Hello, I'm trying to set up a maven web project that runs Jetty. In this project, I need 2 JNDIs... my plan is to configure 2 connection pools using c3p0 in Jetty. Using maven-release-plugin to tag and commit to non-origin

When I do a release of my project, I want to share the source with a wider group of people than I normally do during development. The code is shared via a Git repository. To do this, I have used the following: remote public repository - released code is pushed here, every week or so (http://example.com/public) remote private repository - non-release code is pushed here, more than daily (http://example.com/private) In my local git repository, I have the following remotes defined: origin http://example.com/private public http://example.com/public I am currently trying to configure the maven-release-plugin to manage versioning of the builds, and to manage tagging and pushing of code to the public repository. In my pom.xml, I have listed the <scm/ as follows: <scm><connection>scm:git:http://example.com/public</connection></scm> (Removing this line will cause mvn release:prepare to fail) However, when calling mvn release:clean release:prepare release:perform Maven calls git push origin tagname rather than pushing to the URL specified in the POM. So the questions are: Best practice: Should I just be tagging and committing in my private repo (origin), and pushing to public manually? Can I make Maven push to the repository that I choose, rather than defaulting to origin? I felt this was implied by the requirement of the <connection/ element in <scm/.

Help with a simple switch statement

I need to find the value of a variable and use it to add a class to a div, based on a switch statement. For example, my variable is $link and if $link has google.com IN IT at all, I need $class to equal 'google', if $link as yahoo.com IN IT at all, $class then needs to equal 'yahoo' So, I need something like this, but I'm not sure how/or if to use preg_match or something to check and see if the $link variable has the value we are looking for in it - see 'case' text below: switch ($link) { case 'IF link has Google.com in it': $class = 'google'; break; case 'IF link has Yahoo.com in it': $class = 'yahoo'; break; default: # code... break; } OR if there is a better way to do this, please let me know :D Thanks

App starts in 1.5 emulator but doesn't in 1.6

My app works on 1.5 emulator and 1.5 device. When i try to start it on 1.6 emulator, it produces strange exceptions (doesn't even start). I don't have any 1.6 device to try this app if it works on a real device. I get some warnings in Eclipse ( warning: Ignoring InnerClasses attribute for an anonymous inner class that doesn't come with an associated EnclosingMethod attribute. This class was probably produced by a broken compiler.) and get cant rid of them (i think they come from some apache jars that i need to make http multipart posts). Is it possible that this jars are cause for my exceptions in 1.6 or is it something else? After that I recive something like: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1 Content-Type: text/xml;charset=utf-8 Transfer-Encoding: chunked Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2010 06:13:52 GMT So everything seem to be fine here. I read all contents from network stream and successfuly recieve response. But my socket which I'm doing polling on switches it's modes like that: write ( i write headers and request here ) read ( after headers sent i begin to recieve response ) write ( STRANGE BEHAVIOUR HERE. WHY? here i send nothing really ) read ( here it switches to read back again ) last two steps can repeat several times. So I want to ask what leads for socket's mode change?
