• Bind a generic list to a listbox and also use a datatemplate

  Hello, I'm trying to implement something quite simple but I'm on my first steps in WPF and I'm having some problems. I have a class called Component which has a property called Vertices. Vertices is a generic List of type Point. What I want is to bind the vertices property to a listbox. This is easy by using this code in my XAML in the listbox declaration: ItemsSource="{Binding Path=Component.Vertices, Mode=OneWay, Converter={StaticResource verticesconverter},UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}" The tricky part is when I try to create a datatemplate for the listbox. I want each row of the listbox to display a textbox with the values of the Vertex (Point.X, Point.Y) and a button to allow me to delete the item. Could you help me on the datatemplate definition. The code below doesn't work to bind the X,Y values into two separate textboxes.   Hi all, I am using Core Data in my application.I have an attribute named PINCode which has property Int64. Now,in my app I take the PIN code from a text field,convert it into NSNumber and try to store as an attribute value for an entity.But I am unable to do so.The exception that it shows on the console is:- Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'Unacceptable type of value for attribute: property = "PINCode"; desired type = NSNumber; given type = NSCFString; value = 121.' The content of this request is not a parameter but the body itself.   Hey, I added a menu control to my page that is displayed vertically. This seems very wrong to me, but I could not figure out another way.   Hi People, What I cant figure out is how I would toggle a row in a table using the one below it. So say I have a table with 2 rows the first contains content and the one below contains a button, when the page loads the content row is hidden and when you click the button it toggles the content row on and off. • Saving "heavy" image to PDF in MATLAB - rendering problem

  I generate a figure in MATLAB with lot amount of points (100000+) and want to save it into a PDF file. With zbuffer or painters renderer I've got very large and slowly opened file (over 4 Mb) - all points are in vector format. Using OpenGL renderer rasterize the figure in PDF, ok for the plot, but not good for text labels. The file size is about 150 Kb. Try this simplified code, for example: x=linspace(1,10,100000); y=sin(x)+randn(size(x)); plot(x,y,'.') set(gcf,'Renderer','zbuffer') print -dpdf -r300 testpdf_zb set(gcf,'Renderer','painters') print -dpdf -r300 testpdf_pa set(gcf,'Renderer','opengl') print -dpdf -r300 testpdf_op The actual figure is much more complex with several axes and different types of plots. Is there a way to rasterize the figure, but keep text labels as vectors? Another problem with OpenGL is that is does not work in terminal mode (-nosplash -nodesktop) under Mac OSX. Looks like OpenGL is not supported. I have to use terminal mode for automation. The MATLAB version I run is 2007b. Mac OSX server 10.4.

  Hi, I have a DataGrid that has a MXDataGridItemRenderer applied as an itemEditor to one of the columns. The editor includes a spark.components.TextArea control. By default, any text item editor of a datagrid closes itself when [enter] key is pressed.. • WPF BackGroundWorker ProgressChanged not updating textblock

  I have the method below that seems to behaving strangely. The ProgressChanged and RunWorkerCompleted seem to be updating themselves at the same time. If I comment out the RunWorkerCompleted code which updates the Textblock I see the ProgressChanged taking effect after the data is transferred. What am i doing wrong here?   I have a DataGrid and everytime I change value of it's embeded dropdwonlist I get: "System.Web.HttpException: The IListSource does not contain any data sources." I have a data grid which loads fine: Name column is editable. I have a dropdownlist these : DataDataGrid gets its value from a table. (Select Name, Address From Persons) Dropdown list also gets list of names from the same table. So DataGrid and dropdownlist are bound to 2 different datasets.   We're evaluating Babel 0.9.5 [1] under Windows for use with Python 2.6 and have the following questions that we we've been unable to answer through reading the documentation or googling. 1) I would like to use an _ like abbreviation for ungettext. Is there a concencus on whether one should use n_ or N_ for this? n_ does not appear to work. Babel does not extract text. N_ appears to partially work. Babel extracts text like it does for gettext, but does not format for ngettext (missing plural argument and msgstr[ n ].) 2) Is there a way to set the initial msgstr fields like the following when creating a POT file? I suspect there may be a way to do this via Babel cfg files, but I've been unable to find documentation on the Babel cfg file format. "Project-Id-Version: PROJECT VERSION\n" "Language-Team: en_US \n" 3) Is there a way to preserve 'obsolete' msgid/msgstr's in our PO files?   I've used DocBook in the past and I love the idea behind the separation of content from presentation. I am very comfortable editing XML directly. In my extensive search to find the best documenting solution for my needs I am always coming back to this one solution: DocBook - Build system (ant, make, etc.) - Output I have seen lots of information concerning the best WYSIWYG, XML, Text editors for writing DocBook including alternative markup languages like asciidoc. All these solutions focus on the creation of DocBook or the nightmare of the DocBook tool chain. No one ever addresses the Output side other then to say "Just use XSL" or "Custom scripts" When tasked to make a document or manual I don't want to worry about spending countless hours attempting to reprogram, customize, and modify the XSL, CSS, and shell scripts (i.e. O'Riely books). That is a very arduous task. My query: is there a tool that makes the customizing easier? And is there anything that could be similar to say Pages or Word in that the user creates a template and the tool chain does the rest? Attempting to do a visual task like pretty logos and fixing all the broken layouts that the default XSL comes up with (pagination is a mess) is very difficult from a text editor. Content is easy. Editing DocBook XSL was truly a nightmare when I did it in the past. I've searched and I find lots of info on XML editors but nothing on XSL editors. Or am I lacking a key understanding of the process. Thanks.

• How do I fork correctly in a perl module for znc?

  I'm currently writing an IRC bot. The scripts are loaded as perl modules in ZNC but the bot gets disconnected with an Input/Output error if I create a forked process. • Facebook Like Meta Tags not showing Images

  I have implemented the Facebook Like button on all our pages and it works properly by posting to Facebook with the correct meta tags. However, the images do not show in Facebook. The image meta tags show up properly when I use the Facebook Linter, but they don't show on someone's facebook page where the Like is posted on their wall. Also, is there any way to have the info recache more often? The tags take forever to update. Our site is built with CakePHP.   I am building a home page for my minecraft server. Probably in the following 4-6 months I will opend my second and this is why I am in trouble. My first site is 1000 pixel wide, and the second will be 1200. First big difference. My menus are dinamically generated by my php code. It checks on my databases if there is another button or it is over. These buttons can be added or removed directly online. Another big issue is the browser compatibility. In a survey I did on our previous server I had a lot of users using: chrome, internet explorer, safari and firefox. That means that I must find a solution that is compatible with most browsers. What do I have to do? I came up with this CSS, which is touch compatible, it allows menus to be swapped to the left and it is enough to set 1 parameter to fix it for every page width. • Sending and receiving IM messages via controller in Rails

  Hi, I need a way to handle XMPP communication in my Rails app. My requirements are: Keep an instance of XMPP client running and logged in as one specific user (my bot user) Trigger an event from a controller to send a message and wait for a reply. The message is sent to another machine equipped with a bot so that the reply is supposed to be returned quickly. I installed xmpp4r and backgrounDrb similar to what's described here, but backgrounDrb seems to have evolved and I couldn't get it to wait for a reply. If it has to happen asynchronously, I am willing to use a server-push technology to notify the browser when the reply arrives.   The title is a bit rusty, sorry about that. Now let me explain what i'm trying to do. I have a few listed items, like this: <li> <a id="toggle" class="0"><h4>ämne<small>2010-04-17 kl 12:54</small></h4></a> <p id="meddel" class="0">text</p> </li> <li class='odd'> <a id="toggle" class="1"><h4>test<small>2010-04-17 kl 15:01</small></h4></a> <p id="meddel" class="1">test meddelande :) [a]http://youtube.com[/a]</p> </li> The function i'm trying to achieve, is that when a user clicks a "toggle" link (the h4 text), i want the paragraph element below it to fade in. I thought of the idea of giving both the toggle link and the paragraph the same class, and then somehow make it get the paragraph with the same class as the toggle link clicked, and show it? But i'm not entirely sure how to do that either, and tbh, it doesn't sound like the greatest idea, but maybe that's the only way? I don't know... Is there some way to just simply get the nearest paragraph (below the link) with the id "meddel" and fade it in? That sounds a bit easier... I hope you can at least give me a few hints.
