  • Using multiple QStyledItemDelegate with stylesheets

    - by Shane Holloway
    I'm creating a styled QTreeView using double-dispatch to resolve specific delegate for data items, which is working great. I subclassed the delegates from QStyledItemDelegate to take advantage of stylesheets, enabling the designers to style the UI outside of the code. Unfortunately, I have been unable to address different styles from the CSS. How do I select and use the item sub-control style specified in the stylesheet? The CSS I'm testing with: QTreeView::item:selected { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #dddddd, stop: 1 #888888); } QTreeView::item:selected[role="title"] { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #fde7ef, stop: 1 #f1cbda); } QTreeView::item:selected[role="entry"] { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #e7effd, stop: 1 #cbdaf1); } My delegate rendering classes: class VisitingDelegate(QtGui.QAbstractItemDelegate): def __init__(self, parent=None): super(VisitingDelegate,self).__init__(parent) roles = {} self.renderRoles = roles d = TitleDelegate(parent) d.setProperty("role", "title") roles['title'] = d d = EntryDelegate(parent) d.setProperty("role", "entry") roles['entry'] = d def delegateForIndex(self, mi): role = mi.model().data(mi, "renderRole") return self.renderRoles[role] def paint(self, painter, option, mi): dg = self.delegateForIndex(mi) return dg.paint(painter, option, mi) def sizeHint(self, option, mi): dg = self.delegateForIndex(mi) return dg.sizeHint(option, mi) class TextDocumentDelegate(QtGui.QStyledItemDelegate): fmt = "<font color='%(color)s'>%(text)s</font)>" def paint(self, painter, option, mi): painter.save() opt = QtGui.QStyleOptionViewItemV4(option) self.initStyleOption(opt, mi) opt.text = '' style = opt.widget.style() style.drawControl(style.CE_ItemViewItem, opt, painter, opt.widget) textRect = style.subElementRect(style.SE_ItemViewItemText, opt, opt.widget); doc = self.asTextDoc(option, mi) painter.translate(textRect.topLeft()) doc.drawContents(painter) painter.restore() def sizeHint(self, option, mi): doc = self.asTextDoc(option, mi) sz = doc.size() sz = QtCore.QSize(sz.width(), sz.height()) return sz def asTextDoc(self, option, mi): info = {} info['text'] = mi.model().data(mi, Qt.DisplayRole) doc = QtGui.QTextDocument() doc.setDefaultFont(option.font) pal = option.palette if option.state & QtGui.QStyle.State_Selected: color = pal.color(pal.HighlightedText) else: color = pal.color(pal.Text) info['color'] = color.name() doc.setHtml(self.fmt % info) return doc class EntryDelegate(TextDocumentDelegate): pass class TitleDelegate(TextDocumentDelegate): fmt = "<h3><font color='%(color)s'>%(text)s</font)></h3>"

  • Execute a function when a <link> element has finished loading

    - by nornagon
    I'm using jQuery Masonry to lay out my page, but I'm using a custom @font-face font. The problem being that Masonry doesn't know the metrics of the font until it's loaded. The Masonry docs suggest that you use $(window).load() instead of $(document).ready() to call the layout functions, but I don't want to have to wait until all the images etc. load. I can specify the dimensions of the images exactly, so Masonry doesn't need to wait until they're loaded. It's just the text that's the problem. How can I get jQuery to call a callback when the <link> element that links in the font finishes loading?

  • NSString sizeWithFont: returning inconsistent results? known bug?

    - by Olof Hedman
    I'm trying to create a simple custom UIView wich contain a string drawn with a single font, but where the first character is slightly larger. I thought this would be easily implemented with two UILabel:s placed next to eachother. I use NSString sizeWithFont to measure my string to be able to lay it out correctly. But I noticed that the font baseline in the returned rectangle varies with +/- 1 pixel depending on the font size I set. Here is my code: NSString* ctxt = [text substringToIndex:1]; NSString* ttxt = [text substringFromIndex:1]; CGSize sz = [ctxt sizeWithFont: cfont ]; clbl = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, sz.width, sz.height)]; clbl.text = ctxt; clbl.font = cfont; clbl.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; [contentView addSubview:clbl]; CGSize sz2 = [ttxt sizeWithFont: tfont]; tlbl = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(sz.width, (sz.height - sz2.height), sz2.width, sz2.height)]; tlbl.text = ttxt; tlbl.font = tfont; tlbl.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; [contentView addSubview:tlbl]; If I use 12.0 and 14.0 as sizes, it works fine. But if I instead use 13.0 and 15.0, then the first character is 1 pixel too high. Is this a known problem? Any suggestions how to work around it? Creating a UIWebView with a CSS and HTML page seems way overkill for this. and more work to handle dynamic strings. Is that what I'm expected to do?

  • Java library for CSS cleanup

    - by ndn
    For a rich text editor that has to handle pasted HTML code from MS Office applications, I'm looking for a Java library that cleans up the content of all "style" attributes in HTML elements, so that only some CSS attributes are left: background-color border color font-family font-weight font-style list-style-type text-align text-decoration vertical-align For creating a well-formed HTML document, I can use JTidy. For HTML element transformations (removing unwanted elements), I can use http://htmlparser.sourceforge.net/ Is there anything comparable for CSS attributes?

  • Making Firefox render canvas text the same as CSS text

    - by Dan Forys
    I've been experimenting with the canvas tag and Javascript. I've made a page that takes Tweets from the Twitter public timeline and animates them into view. It works by using a canvas element in the background for the animation. When the animation is complete, it creates a div element with the same text over the top. I do this so that the tweet text is selectable and links are clickable. Now, in Safari, Chrome and even Opera, the canvas text and div text look almost exactly the same. Yet in Firefox, the size of the text is different enough to make it 'jump' at the point it changes into the div. Does anyone know how to make Firefox render the text the same on the canvas element and the div using CSS? Or is this a rendering inconsistency with the engine. I have put the page on my website if you want to see what I mean. Now for the code: The CSS I'm using for rendering the div contains: line-height: 21px; font-weight: 100; font-family: Georgia, "New Century Schoolbook", "Nimbus Roman No9 L", serif; font-size: 20px; For rendering on the canvas I'm using: this.context.font = this.scale + 'px Georgia'; this.context.fillStyle = "white"; this.context.strokeStyle = 'white'; this.context.fillText(this.text, 0, 0); this.context.strokeText(this.text, 0, 0); where this.scale is an animated scale factor that finishes at 20px exactly. So, to recap, I'm using the same font and ending up at the same px size, yet Firefox renders the text differently between Canvas and CSS. (edit) Here's a screenshot example: First line is the text animating in using canvas, second line is the resulting div.

  • IE6 background-position(?) issue

    - by turezky
    I apply to stackoverflow as my last resort. I got this ie6 bug while using the image at the background of the link. It seems that ie6 scrolls the background. How can I avoid it? At some width it shows like this: And at some other it shows like that: IE7 & FF show this just like I expect: The links are placed inside the div which is floating to the right. <a href="/tr" class="menuLink" style="background-image:url(/img/tr.png);">TR</a> <a href="/eng" class="menuLink" style="background-image:url(/img/eng.png); margin-right:30px;">ENG</a> <a href="/logout" class="menuLink" style="background-image:url(/img/logout.png);"><?=$ui["exit"];?></a> .menuLink { font-family:"Tahoma"; font-size:11px; color:#003300; text-decoration:underline; font-weight: bold; background-position:0% 50%; background-repeat:no-repeat; } .menuLink:hover { font-size:11px; color:#047307; text-decoration:underline; font-weight: bold; } Any hints how can I avoid this?

  • reasons to not use typekit?

    - by Haroldo
    I'm launching a new site soon and would like to use one nice font (for headings etc). I've experimented with scripts like cufon and find them very disappointing. The way I see it I have to legal options: create my own font stacks using fonts that are licensed for @font-face (like fontsquirrel) subscribe to typekit use standard font stacks including some of MS Office's nicer fonts (not keen on!) I'm looking for comments from someone with experience here, not speculation please (i can do that myself!). Has anyone used typekit? Have you noticed any performance issues?

  • CSS text-decoration rule ignored

    - by Ferdy
    I have found similar questions to mine but none of the suggestions seems to apply to my situation, so here goes... I have a webpage with a buch of images on them. Each image has a title which in markup is between h2 tags. The title is a link, so the resulting markup is like this: <ul class="imagelist"> <li> <a href=""><h2>Title 1</h2></a> <a href=""><img src="" /></a> </li> <li> Image 2, etc... </li> </ul> All I want is for the title links to not be underlined. I tried to address this like this: .imagelist li a h2 { color:#333; text-decoration:none; } It completely ignores the text-decoration rule, yet respects the color rule. From other questions I learned that this could be because a child element cannot overrule the text-decoration of any of its parents. So, I went looking for the parent elements to see if any explicit text-decoration rules are applied. I found none. This is driving me crazy, any help? For the sake of completeness, here is the Firebug CSS output, which shows the full inheritance and such. Probably more than you want, but I cannot see anything conflicting here. .imagelist li a h2 { color:#333333; text-decoration:none; } main.css (line 417) h2 { font-size:14px; } main.css (line 40) h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { display:block; font-weight:bold; margin-bottom:10px; } main.css (line 38) h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { font-size:100%; font-weight:normal; } reset-min.css (line 7) body, div, dl, dt, dd, ul, ol, li, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, pre, code, form, fieldset, legend, input, textarea, p, blockquote, th, td { margin:0; padding:0; } reset-min.css (line 7) Inherited froma /apps/ju...mage/745 a { color:#0063E2; } main.css (line 55) Inherited fromli .imagelist li { list-style-type:none; } main.css (line 411) li { list-style:none outside none; } reset-min.css (line 7) Inherited fromul.imagelist .imagelist { border-collapse:collapse; font-size:9px; } main.css (line 410) Inherited frombody body, form { color:#333333; font:12px arial,helvetica,clean,sans-serif; } main.css (line 36) Inherited fromhtml html { color:#000000;

  • Using Java PDFBox library to write Russian PDF

    - by Brad
    Hello , I am using a Java library called PDFBox trying to write text to a PDF. It works perfect for English text, but when i tried to write Russian text inside the PDF the letters appeared so strange. It seems the problem is in the font used, but i am not so sure about that, so i hope if anyone could guide me through this. Here is the important code lines : PDTrueTypeFont font = PDTrueTypeFont.loadTTF( pdfFile, new File( "fonts/VREMACCI.TTF" ) ); // Windows Russian font imported to write the Russian text. font.setEncoding( new WinAnsiEncoding() ); // Define the Encoding used in writing. // Some code here to open the PDF & define a new page. contentStream.drawString( "??????? ????????????" ); // Write the Russian text. The WinAnsiEncoding source code is : Click here --------------------- Edit on 18 November 2009 After some investigation, i am now sure it is an Encoding problem, this could be solved by defining my own Encoding using the helpful PDFBox class called DictionaryEncoding. I am not sure how to use it, but here is what i have tried until now : COSDictionary cosDic = new COSDictionary(); cosDic.setString( COSName.getPDFName("Ercyrillic"), "0420 " ); // Russian letter. font.setEncoding( new DictionaryEncoding( cosDic ) ); This does not work, as it seems i am filling the dictionary in a wrong way, when i write a PDF page using this it appears blank. The DictionaryEncoding source code is : Click here Thanks . . .

  • jquery css menu not selecting the active link

    - by Ronedog
    What is wrong with this and how could I fix it. I have css menu (horizontal) that I want the background and font to be changed when one of the items is selected. I found another post that gave me some jquery code to help make it work, and I thought I had it coded right, but when I click on an item to change its class it adds the class, but the background and font stay the same? Any ideas here? Heres the HTML <ul id="menu_nav" class="buttons"> <li> <a href="#" onclick="' . $menu_path . '">Item 1</a> </li> <li> <a href="#" onclick="' . $menu_path . '">Item 2</a> </li> <li> <a href="#" onclick="' . $menu_path . '">Item 3</a> </li> </ul> Heres the CSS: ul#menu_nav { float:left; width:790px; padding:0; margin:0; list-style-type:none; background-color:#000099; } ul#menu_nav a { float:left; text-decoration:none; color:white; background-color:#000099; padding:0.2em 0.6em; border-right:1px solid #CCCCCC; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11px; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; position: relative; height: 21px; line-height:1.85em; } ul#menu_nav a:hover { background-color:#F1F4FE; color:#000099; border-top:1px solid #CCCCCC; } ul#menu_nav li {display:inline;} .selected { background-color:#F1F4FE; color:#000099; border-top:1px solid #CCCCCC; } Here's the Jquery: $(function(){ $(".buttons li>a").click(function(){ $(this).parent().addClass('selected'). // <li> siblings().removeClass('selected'); }); });

  • Winform/Program and how to write class 1, class 2, class 3, class 4 in array to linklabels?!!?

    - by JB
    So my program works like this: using winforms, user enters ID number, using an array, based on the right id number, that student information and class schedule outputs in a message box! My question is how to take the 4 classes in the message box/array and write them to the linklabel text in form 2???? My Getschedule class contains the array and is listed below: namespace Eagle_Eye_Class_Finder { public class GetSchedule { IDnumber[] IDnumbers = new IDnumber[3]; public string GetDataFromNumber(string ID) { foreach (IDnumber IDCandidateMatch in IDnumbers) { if (IDCandidateMatch.ID == ID) { StringBuilder myData = new StringBuilder(); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.Name); myData.AppendLine(": "); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.ID); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.year); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class1); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class2); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class3); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class4); //return myData; return myData.ToString(); } } return ""; } public GetSchedule() { IDnumbers[0] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Joshua Banks", ID = "900456317", year = "Senior", class1 = "TEET 4090", class2 = "TEET 3020", class3 = "TEET 3090", class4 = "TEET 4290" }; IDnumbers[1] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Sean Ward", ID = "900456318", year = "Junior", class1 = "ENGNR 4090", class2 = "ENGNR 3020", class3 = "ENGNR 3090", class4 = "ENGNR 4290" }; IDnumbers[2] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Terrell Johnson", ID = "900456319", year = "Sophomore", class1 = "BUS 4090", class2 = "BUS 3020", class3 = "BUS 3090", class4 = "BUS 4290" }; } public class IDnumber { public string Name { get; set; } public string ID { get; set; } public string year { get; set; } public string class1 { get; set; } public string class2 { get; set; } public string class3 { get; set; } public string class4 { get; set; } public static void ProcessNumber(IDnumber myNum) { StringBuilder myData = new StringBuilder(); myData.AppendLine(myNum.Name); myData.AppendLine(": "); myData.AppendLine(myNum.ID); myData.AppendLine(myNum.year); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class1); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class2); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class3); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class4); MessageBox.Show(myData.ToString()); } } } } My form 2 which will contain the linklabels is listed below: public class YOURCLASSSCHEDULE : System.Windows.Forms.Form { public System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabel linkLabel1;     i have few textbox on the form and when the user submit i want to capture the data and insert into db here is what my code looks like beforeSubmit: function(data) { // called just before the form is submitted var item = $("[id$='item']"); var category = $("[id$='category']"); var record = $("[id$='record']"); var json = "{'ItemName':'" + escape(item.val()) + "','CategoryID':'" + category.val() + "','RecordID':'" + record.val() + "'}"; var ajaxPage = "DataProcessor.aspx?Save=1"; //this page is where data is to be retrieved and processed var options = { type: "POST", url: ajaxPage, data: json, contentType: "application/json;charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", async: false, success: function(response) { alert("success: " + response); }, error: function(msg) { alert("failed: " + msg); } }; //execute the ajax call and get a response var returnText = $.ajax(options).responseText; if (returnText == 1) { record.html(returnText); $("#divMsg").html("<font color=blue>Record saved successfully.</font>"); } else { record.html(returnText); $("#divMsg").html("<font color=red>Record not saved successfully.</font>"); } // $("#data").html("<font color=blue>Data sent to the server :</font> <br />" + $.param(data)); }, here is what is the Data sent to the server: if i uncomment this line: // $("#data").html("Data sent to the server : " + $.param(data)); _VIEWSTATE=%2FwEPDwULLTE4ODM1ODM4NDFkZOFEQfA7cHuTisEwOQmIaj1nYR23&_EVENTVALIDATION=%2FwEWDwLuksaHBgLniKOABAKV8o75BgLlosbxAgKUjpHvCALf9YLVCgLCtfnhAQKyqcC9BQL357nNAQLW9%2FeuDQKvpuq2CALyveCRDwKgoPWXDAKhwImNCwKiwImNC1%2Fq%2BmUXqcSuJ0z0F%2FQXKM3pH070&firstname=Nisar&surname=Khan&day_fi=12&month_fi=12&year_fi=1234&lastFour_fi=777&countryPrefix_fi=1&areaCode_fi=555-555&phoneNumber_fi=5555&email_fi=nisardotnet%40gmail.com&username=nisarkhan&password=123456&retypePassword=123456 DataProcessor.aspx.cs: public partial class DataProcessor : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (!IsPostBack) ProcessAjaxRequest(); } private void ProcessAjaxRequest() { if (Request.ContentType.Contains("json") && Request.QueryString["Save"] != null) SaveMyData(); } private void SaveMyData() { //data passed in as JSON format System.IO.StreamReader sr = new System.IO.StreamReader(Request.InputStream); string line = ""; line = sr.ReadToEnd(); //This is all you need to parse JSON string into an JObject. //Require namespace Newtonsoft.Json.Linq; JObject jo = JObject.Parse(line); Console.WriteLine((string)jo["RecordID"]); Console.WriteLine(Server.UrlDecode((string)jo["ItemName"])); //use Server.UrlDecode to reverse the text that was escaped before it was passed in to its original state Response.Write((string)jo["CategoryID"]); //this send to responseText of .ajax(options).responseText } } the above code is not working and i need a way to capture the values before i insert into db. any help?   • Winform/Program and how to write array information to linklabels?!!?

    - by JB
    So my program works like this: using winforms, user enters ID number, using an array, based on the right id number, that student information and class schedule outputs in a message box! My question is how to take the 4 classes in the message box/array and write them to the linklabel text in form 2???? My Getschedule class contains the array and is listed below: namespace Eagle_Eye_Class_Finder { public class GetSchedule { IDnumber[] IDnumbers = new IDnumber[3]; public string GetDataFromNumber(string ID) { foreach (IDnumber IDCandidateMatch in IDnumbers) { if (IDCandidateMatch.ID == ID) { StringBuilder myData = new StringBuilder(); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.Name); myData.AppendLine(": "); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.ID); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.year); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class1); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class2); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class3); myData.AppendLine(IDCandidateMatch.class4); //return myData; return myData.ToString(); } } return ""; } public GetSchedule() { IDnumbers[0] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Joshua Banks", ID = "900456317", year = "Senior", class1 = "TEET 4090", class2 = "TEET 3020", class3 = "TEET 3090", class4 = "TEET 4290" }; IDnumbers[1] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Sean Ward", ID = "900456318", year = "Junior", class1 = "ENGNR 4090", class2 = "ENGNR 3020", class3 = "ENGNR 3090", class4 = "ENGNR 4290" }; IDnumbers[2] = new IDnumber() { Name = "Terrell Johnson", ID = "900456319", year = "Sophomore", class1 = "BUS 4090", class2 = "BUS 3020", class3 = "BUS 3090", class4 = "BUS 4290" }; } public class IDnumber { public string Name { get; set; } public string ID { get; set; } public string year { get; set; } public string class1 { get; set; } public string class2 { get; set; } public string class3 { get; set; } public string class4 { get; set; } public static void ProcessNumber(IDnumber myNum) { StringBuilder myData = new StringBuilder(); myData.AppendLine(myNum.Name); myData.AppendLine(": "); myData.AppendLine(myNum.ID); myData.AppendLine(myNum.year); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class1); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class2); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class3); myData.AppendLine(myNum.class4); MessageBox.Show(myData.ToString()); } } } } My form 2 which will contain the linklabels is listed below: public class YOURCLASSSCHEDULE : System.Windows.Forms.Form { public System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabel linkLabel1;   • ImagickDraw::setFont has no effect on my system; suggestions?

    - by Dejay Clayton
    Running on Ubuntu LTS 8.04, PHP 5.2.8, ImageMagick 6.6.1-5 installed from source, and Imagick 2.3.0 installed from pecl. ImageMagick's 'convert' command sets fonts properly, and ImagickDraw::setFont properly complains if an invalid path to a font has been specified. However, specifying a valid font has no effect in changing the appearance of the drawn font whatsoever. Also, specifying a valid filename that contains invalid font data fails to trigger an error. It's almost as if Imagick isn't doing anything other than verifying that the specified file exists. Any suggestions?

  • Oversized Qt Fonts on OSX

    - by Mike Arthur
    Why does Qt on OSX appear to default to overly large fonts? Even when you select the same font size manually the fonts appear slightly bigger. Does Qt on OSX use a different font rendering to OSX? Does this improve if you use Qt for Cocoa? In addition, is there a qtconfig tool or equivalent to globally set the font settings for all Qt applications? Thanks!

  • Workaround for the Mono PrivateFontCollection.AddFontFile bug

    - by CommuSoft
    When I call the PrivateFontCollection.AddFontFile method in Mono.net It always returns a standard font-family. This bug has already been reported on several websites, but as far as I know without a way to solve it. The bug itself isn't fixed in the Mono-libraries yet. Is there any workaround for it? EDIT: As a reaction on henchman's answer I will post the code: PrivateFontCollection pfc = new PrivateFontCollection(); pfc.AddFontFile("myFontFamily.ttf"); myFontFamily = pfc.Families[0x00]; Font myFont = new Font(myFontFamily,14.0f); I know this code will work fine on the Microsoft.Net framework, but when executing on Mono, it just gives a standard font-family (I think it is Arial) with the name of myFontFamily.ttf

    Hi, I am using the following code to embed Arial into my application: [Embed(source='../assets/fonts/Arial.ttf',fontFamily='CustomFont',fontWeight='regular', unicodeRange='U+0020-U+0040,U+0041-U+005A,U+005B-U+0060,U+0061-U+007A,U+007B-U+007E,U+0080-U+00FF,U+0100-U+017F,U+0400-U+04FF,U+0370-U+03FF,U+1E00-U+1EFF,U+2022,U+2219,U+20AC-U+21AC', mimeType='application/x-font-truetype' )] public static var MY_FONT:Class; [Embed(source='../assets/fonts/Arial Bold.ttf',fontFamily='CustomFont',fontWeight='bold', unicodeRange='U+0020-U+0040,U+0041-U+005A,U+005B-U+0060,U+0061-U+007A,U+007B-U+007E,U+0080-U+00FF,U+0100-U+017F,U+0400-U+04FF,U+0370-U+03FF,U+1E00-U+1EFF,U+2022,U+2219,U+20AC-U+21AC', mimeType='application/x-font-truetype' )] public static var MY_FONT_BOLD:Class; [Embed(source='../assets/fonts/Arial Italic.ttf',fontFamily='CustomFont',fontWeight='regular',fontStyle="italic", unicodeRange='U+0020-U+0040,U+0041-U+005A,U+005B-U+0060,U+0061-U+007A,U+007B-U+007E,U+0080-U+00FF,U+0100-U+017F,U+0400-U+04FF,U+0370-U+03FF,U+1E00-U+1EFF,U+2022,U+2219,U+20AC-U+21AC', mimeType='application/x-font-truetype' )] public static var MY_FONT_ITALIC:Class; [Embed(source='../assets/fonts/Arial Bold Italic.ttf',fontFamily='CustomFont',fontWeight='bold',fontStyle="italic", unicodeRange='U+0020-U+0040,U+0041-U+005A,U+005B-U+0060,U+0061-U+007A,U+007B-U+007E,U+0080-U+00FF,U+0100-U+017F,U+0400-U+04FF,U+0370-U+03FF,U+1E00-U+1EFF,U+2022,U+2219,U+20AC-U+21AC', mimeType='application/x-font-truetype' )] public static var MY_FONT_ITALIC_BOLD:Class; [Embed(source='../assets/fonts/Arial Unicode.ttf',fontFamily='CustomFont',fontWeight='regular', unicodeRange='U+0020-U+0040,U+0041-U+005A,U+005B-U+0060,U+0061-U+007A,U+007B-U+007E,U+0080-U+00FF,U+0100-U+017F,U+0400-U+04FF,U+0370-U+03FF,U+1E00-U+1EFF,U+2022,U+2219,U+20AC-U+21AC', mimeType='application/x-font-truetype' )] public static var MY_FONT_UNICODE:Class; It's working fine for foreign characters, but no special characters (copyright, trademark, euro sign etc) are working. Can anyone help? I've checked my unicode ranges, they should work fine!

  • 3 column sticky footer

    - by blackessej
    html, body, #box { padding:0px; margin:0px; height:100%; min-height:100%; } body { background-image:url(images/footerbg.png); background-repeat:repeat-x repeat-y scroll; font-size:12px; font-family:Georgia; color:#564b47; } p, h1 { margin:0px 10px 10px 10px; } h1 { font-size:14px; padding-top:10px; text-transform:uppercase; color:#564b47; background-color:transparent; } a { color:#ff66cc; font-size:11px; background-color:transparent; text-decoration:none; } pre { color:#564b47; font-size:11px; background-color:transparent; } #box { position:relative; width:750px; margin:0 auto; text-align:left; height:auto!important; } #shadow { background:url("images/shadow.png") repeat-y scroll 0 0 transparent; width:760px; margin:auto; padding:0px; text-align:left; height:100%; z-index:0; margin-bottom:-40px; } #left { width:175px; float:left; background-color:#ff99cc; height:auto!important; height:100%; min-height:100%; text-align:left; } #content { width:400px; float:left; overflow:auto; background-color:#fff; height:auto!important; } #right { width:175px; float:right; background-color:#ff99cc; height:auto!important; height:100%; min-height:100%; text-align:right; } #head { background-image:url(images/banner.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-color:#000; height:125px; text-align:center; margin:auto; } #menu { width:100%; } p a { color:#000; text-decoration:underline; } a { color:#fb0303; text-decoration:none; outline:none; } a:visited { color:#fb0303; } p a:hover { text-decoration:underline!important; } ul#nav { margin:auto; width:100%; } ul#nav li a { display:block; font-size:12px; font-weight:bold; padding:4px; background:#000; } ul#nav li a:hover { background:#000; color:#fff; } li { list-style:none; top:100px; float:left; position:relative; width:110px; text-align:center; } li ul { display:none; position:relative; width:auto; margin-left:6px; border-top:4px dotted #fb0303; } li>ul { top:-102px; left:-40px; } li:hover ul, li.over ul { display:block; } ul#nav li.current a { background:#000; } ul#nav li.current a:hover { background:#000; } #player { width:360px; height:240px; position:absolute; z-index:2; } #head h1 { font-size:11px; text-transform:uppercase; text-align:right; color:#564b47; background-color:#90897a; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; } #head p { padding:10px; margin:0px; } .footer { position:relative; height:40px; background-color:#444; } I want the three columns to be 100% height so that they go all the way to the footer. Right now, they're only as long as their content. The columns are #left, #right and #content. Pretty new to this stuff. Please feel free to point out sloppy code, redundancy, etc. And thank you.

  • php gdlib angle problem

    - by creativz
    I'm using php gd lib 5.2.13 and tried to make a picture with imagettftext ($image, $color and $font are defined of course). imagettftext($image, 12, 90, 10, 20, $black, $font, "This.is_a test 123"); //image, font size, angle, x value, y value, color, font, text As you can see I want the angle to be 90°. The problem is that the text is not beeing rotated properly, e.g. the dots are at the top (and not at the bottom) of the text. I read that this is a common issue and has been fixed in php gdlib 5.3, But since I have 5.2.13 running on a webhost (...) is there a solution to rotate it properly with using gdlib 5.2.13? Thanks!

  • Adjusting ComboBox DropDown Width in C#

    - by Jim Fell
    Hello. I have this code that adjusts the width of a comboBox drop-down: private void comboBox_DropDown(object sender, EventArgs e) { ComboBox senderComboBox = (ComboBox)sender; int width = senderComboBox.DropDownWidth; Graphics g = senderComboBox.CreateGraphics(); Font font = senderComboBox.Font; int vertScrollBarWidth = (senderComboBox.Items.Count > senderComboBox.MaxDropDownItems) ? SystemInformation.VerticalScrollBarWidth : 0; int newWidth; foreach (string s in ((ComboBox)sender).Items) { newWidth = (int)g.MeasureString(s, font).Width + vertScrollBarWidth; if (width < newWidth) { width = newWidth; } } senderComboBox.DropDownWidth = width; } It works great, except it expands the width of the drop-down to the right, whereas I would prefer it to expand to the left because the comboBox is located on the right side of my form. Any thoughts or suggestions you may have would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Changing CSS Rules using JavaScript or jQuery

    - by Praveen Kumar
    Initial Research I am aware of using .css() to get and set the CSS rules of a particular element. I have seen a website with this CSS: body, table td, select { font-family: Arial Unicode MS, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; } I never liked Arial Unicode as a font. Well, that was my personal feel. So, I would use Chrome's Style Inspector to edit the Arial Unicode MS to Segoe UI or something which I like. Is there anyway, other than using the following to achieve the same? Case I $("body, table td, select").css("font-family", "Segoe UI"); Recursive, performance intensive. Doesn't work when things are loaded on the fly. Case II $('<style>body, table td, select {font-famnily: "Segoe UI";}</style>') .appendTo("head"); Any other better method than this? Creates a lot of <style> tags!
