    I would like to know how to drag & drop the folder and get its name. I already know how to do it with a file, but I'm not really sure how to modify it to be able to drag folders as well. It could simply be solved with protected atrib in that class, but for some (stupid) reason i'cant do that. Has anybody an idea how to solve it without that? Thanks for all help.

    Sometimes the simplest questions make me love C/C++ and C# more and more. Today sitting on the bus musing aout delegates I remembered reading somwhere you don't need to use the new keyword when instaniating a new delegate. Does the compiler expand method 2 into method 1, hence writing TestDelgate t = SomeMethod; is just a shortcut for TestDelgate t = new TestDelgate(SomeMethod);, or is there another reason for the exsitence of method 2 Do you guys think method 1 or method 2 is better for readability (this is a subjective question, but I'd just like to get a unscientific feel of general opinion of stackoverflow :-))

I found the issue, and it's because the first for loop changes the array order more times than needed and basically it returns as it was at the beginning. I know that probably there's a way to achieve this by writing more code, but i always tend to nest as much as possible to "optimize" the code while i write it, so that's why i tried solving this exercise by using less variables and loops as possible.     I want to separate an array of my custom object into several arrays, based on the values of their two properties. The struct looks like this: struct MyStruct { public string Person { get; set; } public string Command { get; set; } } Now, if I have an array with a few objects: {Person1, cmd1} {Person1, cmd3} {Person2, cmd3} {Person3, cmd2} {Person2, cmd4} I want to be able to place them into one array for each person, that lists all of the commands for that person: {Person1: cmd1, cmd3} {Person2: cmd3, cmd4} {Person3: cmd2} I hope I've made it clear with my descriptions. I would assume that there is an elegant way to do this with LINQ, but I have no idea where to start.

  • Webservice parameter value encoding

    We have a webservice created in WCF and presenting itself as a basicHttpBinding. One of the parameters is a string which takes an xml string. Looking at the soap the client generates to send to the webservice, the xml is encoded, with all < and swapped into < and >. My question is, is this all that is encoded, or has the parameter been run through HtmlEncode so that other entities would be swapped also? The reason I ask is we are submitting with our client to a 3rd party webservice now and they would like to know the details on what is encoded.
