  • NHibernate.MappingException (no persister for) weirdness

    The weird part being that I have other tests that validate the mapping and even the method being called (Nhib session.SaveOrUpdate) that run just fine. The entire exception is below. Here is some debug output from a test that does work: Item type: Domain.Model.Projects.Project item: 007-00-056 ATM Machine Replacement Is transient: True Id: 0 NHibernate: INSERT INTO Projects (Code, Description) VALUES (@p0, @p1); select insert_rowid();@p0 = '007-00-056', @p1 = 'ATM Machine Replacement' Here is the same debug output before the exception: Item type: Smack.ConstructionAdmin.Domain.Model.Projects.Project item: 006-00-023 Refinish Casino Chairs Is transient: True Id: 0 The two tests are different in that the one that works is just testing the repository, and saving in memory test data. The failing one is saving data that has been converted from a legacy db (which has it's own session). The repository is also a replacement design for a different IProjectRepsitory that worked fine doing this, so the new repository is also a likely suspect here. Does anyone see what I'm missing or have some questions to narrow it down?     I would like to get a user's group memberships in an ActiveDirectory, without being in the domain.   • Iframe src set dynamically through JavaScript is being executed twice on Internet Explorer

    Hello Everyone, I am encountering a very annoying problem with IE. Basically I need to set the source of an IFrame using JavaScript, however the source document is being executed twice not once during each call. The simplified HTML code is pasted below (I simplified it so that readers can understand it quickly. The source is being set through JavaScript since it will contain dynamic content): <html> <head> <title>Iframe test</title> </head> <body> <iframe id="testIframe" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="" width="800" height="600"></iframe> <script language="JavaScript"> document.getElementById("testIframe").src = "http://localhost/test.php"; </script> </body> </html> In this example, test.php inserts a record inside a local database once called. Whenever the page above is called using IE, two rows are being inserted on most occasions (sometimes only 1 row is inserted but this is not the norm). I tested the same script on Chrome and Opera and it works correctly on them so this must be an IE issue. If is set the src directly inside the iframe tag IE starts behaving correctly, however I need to be able to build the URL using javascript. Has anyone encountered this issue? and does anyone know of a solution/workaround? Thanks and Regards Pierre

    i'm trying to send the iOS device name along with the deviceToken to my server in didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken.. my device has an apostrophe in it and the request string shows as ....&name=John+Doe’s+iPhone ... I've tried replacing "'" with "" and "’" with "" .. but neither fix it.. i assume i need to convert the encoding?   • Coding a parser for a domain specific language in Java

    We want to design a simple domain specific language for writing test scripts to automatically test a XML-based interface of one of our applications. A sample test would be: Get an input XML file from network shared folder or subversion repository Import the XML file using the interface Check if the import result message was successfull Export the XML corresponding to the object that was just imported using the interface and check if it correct. If the domain specific language can be declarative and its statements look as close as my sentences in the sample above as possible, it will be awesome because people won't necessarily have to be programmers to understand/write/maintain the tests. Something like: newObject = GET FILE "http://svn/repos/template1.xml" reponseMessage = IMPORT newObject newObjectID = GET PROPERTY '/object/id/' FROM responseMessage (..) But then I'm not sure how to implement a simple parser for that languange in Java. Back in school, 10 years ago, I coded a language parser using Lex and Yacc for the C language. Maybe an approach would be to use some equivalent for Java? Or, I could give up the idea of having a declarative language and choose an XML-based language instead, which would possibly be easier to create a parser for? What approach would you recommend?

    This works: from x in table.AsEnumerable() where x.Field<string>("something") == "value" select x.Field<decimal>("decimalfield"); but, this does not: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield")); I also tried: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>new { name = y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield") }); Looking at the two overloads of the .Select() method, I thought the latter two should both return EnumerableRowCollection, but apparently I am wrong. What am I missing?

    Hello, I am trying to use JTidy (jtidy-r938.jar) to sanitize an input HTML string, but I seem to have problems getting the default settings right. Often strings such as "hello world" end up as "helloworld" after tidying. I wanted to show what I'm doing here, and any pointers would be really appreciated: Assume that rawHtml is the String containing the input (real world) HTML.   • Reading a plist utf-8 value as utf-16

    I'm working on an iphone app that needs to display superscripts and subscripts. I'm using a picker to read in data from a plist but the unicode values aren't being displayed corretly in the pickerview. Subscripts and superscripts are not being recognized. I'm assuming this is due to the encoding of the plist as utf-8, so the question is how do a convert a plist string encoding from utf-8 to utf-16 ? Just a little more elaboration: If I do this it displays properly at least in a textfield: NSString *equation = @"x\u00B2 + y\u00B2 = z\u00B2" However if I define the same string in a plist and try to read it in and assign it to a string and display it on a pickerview it just displays the the encoding and not the superscripts. @Matt: thanks for your suggestion the unicode is being escaped that is \u00B2 = \u00B2. Googling for "escaped values in plists" returned no useful results, and I haven't been able to use the keyboard cmd-ctrl-shift-+ to work. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

  • JMeter to grab full querystring into a variable for future use

    Someone provided me the regex to parse out a query string: (?<=\?)[^?]+$ I am trying to use that in JMeter with no luck (although I am successful in pulling out individual query string parameter values based on various example postings on the web). I created a regular expression extractor called "Grab QueryString". I selected the URL response field to check. For the reference name, I typed "myQueryString". For the regular expression, I entered your text. For template, I entered $1$ Match no = 1 Default Value = ERROR Unfortunately, "myQueryString" is getting populated with ERROR and not the URL query string as hoped when I try and use it as a parameter in a future GET. Thus, I see this in the "View Results Tree": https:/www.website.com/folder/page.aspx?ERROR Instead of: https:/www.website.com/folder/page.aspx?jfhjHSDjgdjhsjhsdhjSJHWed Did I do something wrong? Anyone have any suggestions?

  • ASP.NET Create zip file for download: the compressed zipped folder is invalid or corrupted

When I navigate to the directory c:\temp\ and double-click on the test.zip file; it opens right up. My problem seems only to be with the download. The code above executes without any issue. A file download dialog is presented. I can chose to either save or open. If I try to open the file from the dialog, or save it and then open it. I get the following dialog message: The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted. For Response.ContentType I've tried: application/x-compressed application/x-zip-compressed application/x-gzip-compresse application/octet-stream application/zip The zip file is being created with some prior code (that I'm sure is working fine due to my ability to open the created file directly) using: Ionic.zip http://www.codeplex.com/DotNetZip

  • Cannot use WCF service from windows mobile 5: no endpoint found.

    Hi All, I'm trying to figure out how to call a WCF service from a windows smart phone. I have a very simple smartphone console app, which does nothing but launch and make 1 call to the service. The service simply returns a string. I am able to instantiate the proxy class but when i call the method it throws an exception: There was no endpoint listening at http://mypcname/Service1.svc/basic that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. The inner exception: Could not establish connection to network. I've tried to follow this tutorial on setting up services with windows mobile. I've used the NetCFSvcUtil to create the proxy classes. I have the service running on IIS on my machine and had the Util consume the wsdl from that location. I've created a basic http binding as suggested in the article and i think i've pointed the proxy at the correct uri. Here some sections of relevant code in case it's helpful to see. If anyone has any suggestions, i'd really appreciate it. I'm not sure what else i can poke at to get this thing to work. Thanks! Should I use the second solution or I should try to optimize the prep stmt?
