  • C++ assignment operators dynamic arrays

    - by user2905445
    First off i know the multiplying part is wrong but i have some questions about the code. 1. When i am overloading my operator+ i print out the matrix using cout << *this then right after i return *this and when i do a+b on matix a and matix b it doesnt give me the same thing this is very confusing. 2. When i make matrix c down in my main i cant use my default constructor for some reason because when i go to set it = using my assignment operator overloaded function it gives me an error saying "expression must be a modifiable value. although using my constructor that sets the row and column numbers is the same as my default constructor using (0,0). 3. My assignment operator= function uses a copy constructor to make a new matrix using the values on the right hand side of the equal sign and when i print out c it doesn't give me anything Any help would be great this is my hw for a algorithm class which i still need to do the algorithm for the multiplying matrices but i need to solve these issues first and im having a lot of trouble please help. //Programmer: Eric Oudin //Date: 10/21/2013 //Description: Working with matricies #include <iostream> using namespace std; class matrixType { public: friend ostream& operator<<(ostream&, const matrixType&); const matrixType& operator*(const matrixType&); matrixType& operator+(const matrixType&); matrixType& operator-(const matrixType&); const matrixType& operator=(const matrixType&); void fillMatrix(); matrixType(); matrixType(int, int); matrixType(const matrixType&); ~matrixType(); private: int **matrix; int rowSize; int columnSize; }; ostream& operator<< (ostream& osObject, const matrixType& matrix) { osObject << endl; for (int i=0;i<matrix.rowSize;i++) { for (int j=0;j<matrix.columnSize;j++) { osObject << matrix.matrix[i][j] <<", "; } osObject << endl; } return osObject; } const matrixType& matrixType::operator=(const matrixType& matrixRight) { matrixType temp(matrixRight); cout << temp; return temp; } const matrixType& matrixType::operator*(const matrixType& matrixRight) { matrixType temp(rowSize*matrixRight.columnSize, columnSize*matrixRight.rowSize); if(rowSize == matrixRight.columnSize) { for (int i=0;i<rowSize;i++) { for (int j=0;j<columnSize;j++) { temp.matrix[i][j] = matrix[i][j] * matrixRight.matrix[i][j]; } } } else { cout << "Cannot multiply matricies that have different size rows from the others columns." << endl; } return temp; } matrixType& matrixType::operator+(const matrixType& matrixRight) { if(rowSize == matrixRight.rowSize && columnSize == matrixRight.columnSize) { for (int i=0;i<rowSize;i++) { for (int j=0;j<columnSize;j++) { matrix[i][j] += matrixRight.matrix[i][j]; } } } else { cout << "Cannot add matricies that are different sizes." << endl; } cout << *this; return *this; } matrixType& matrixType::operator-(const matrixType& matrixRight) { matrixType temp(rowSize, columnSize); if(rowSize == matrixRight.rowSize && columnSize == matrixRight.columnSize) { for (int i=0;i<rowSize;i++) { for (int j=0;j<columnSize;j++) { matrix[i][j] -= matrixRight.matrix[i][j]; } } } else { cout << "Cannot subtract matricies that are different sizes." << endl; } return *this; } void matrixType::fillMatrix() { for (int i=0;i<rowSize;i++) { for (int j=0;j<columnSize;j++) { cout << "Enter the matix number at (" << i << "," << j << "):"; cin >> matrix[i][j]; } } } matrixType::matrixType() { rowSize=0; columnSize=0; matrix = new int*[rowSize]; for (int i=0; i < rowSize; i++) { matrix[i] = new int[columnSize]; } } matrixType::matrixType(int setRows, int setColumns) { rowSize=setRows; columnSize=setColumns; matrix = new int*[rowSize]; for (int i=0; i < rowSize; i++) { matrix[i] = new int[columnSize]; } } matrixType::matrixType(const matrixType& otherMatrix) { rowSize=otherMatrix.rowSize; columnSize=otherMatrix.columnSize; matrix = new int*[rowSize]; for (int i = 0; i < rowSize; i++) { for (int j = 0; j < columnSize; j++) { matrix[i]=new int[columnSize]; matrix[i][j]=otherMatrix.matrix[i][j]; } } } matrixType::~matrixType() { delete [] matrix; } int main() { matrixType a(2,2); matrixType b(2,2); matrixType c(0,0); cout << "fill matrix a:"<< endl;; a.fillMatrix(); cout << "fill matrix b:"<< endl;; b.fillMatrix(); cout << a; cout << b; c = a+b; cout <<"matrix a + matrix b =" << c; system("PAUSE"); return 0; }

  • Intellij Idea 13.x and ASM 5.x library incompatible?

    - by Jarrod Roberson
    I can't get Intellij Idea 13.0 to compile my code against ASM 5.0.3 I have a multi-module Maven project. It compiles and installs successfully. Apparently com.google.findbugs:findbugs has a dependency on asm:asm:3.3 and I want to use org.ow2.asm:asm:5.0.3 to manipulate some bytecode. So in the parent pom.xml I exclude the asm:asm:3.3 dependencies from the classpath. This works fine when I run mvn install from the command line. I can't get the Build - Make Project menu selection to work in Intellij Idea. Here is the relevant parts of my pom.xml files. parent.pom <dependency> <groupId>org.ow2.asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm</artifactId> <version>5.0.3</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.ow2.asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm-tree</artifactId> <version>5.0.3</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.ow2.asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm-util</artifactId> <version>5.0.3</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.ow2.asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm-commons</artifactId> <version>5.0.3</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>com.google.code.findbugs</groupId> <artifactId>findbugs</artifactId> <version>2.0.3</version> <exclusions> <exclusion> <groupId>asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm</artifactId> </exclusion> <exclusion> <groupId>asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm-commons</artifactId> </exclusion> <exclusion> <groupId>asm</groupId> <artifactId>asm-tree</artifactId> </exclusion> </exclusions> </dependency> Here is the code that is failing 18 public static void main(final String[] args) throws IOException 19 { 20 final InputStream is = NotEmptyTest.class.getResourceAsStream("/com/vertigrated/annotation/NotEmptyTest.class"); 21 final ClassReader cr = new ClassReader(is); 22 final ClassNode cn = new ClassNode(); 23 cr.accept(cn, 0); 24 for (final MethodNode mn : cn.methods) 25 { 26 - 38 snipped for brevity 39 } 40 } 41 } Here is the error message: Information:Using javac 1.7.0_25 to compile java sources Information:java: Errors occurred while compiling module 'tests' Information:Compilation completed with 1 error and 2 warnings in 2 sec Information:1 error Information:2 warnings /<path to my source code>/NotEmptyTest.java Error:Error:line (24)java: incompatible types required: org.objectweb.asm.tree.MethodNode found: java.lang.Object Warning:Warning:java: /<path to my project>//NotEmptyTest.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.   • Ajax, Multiple Attachments and Paperclip question.

    - by dustmoo
    Alright everyone this is a bit of a complicated setup so if I need to clarify the question just let me know. I have a model: class IconSet < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :icon_graphics end This Model has many icongraphics: class IconGraphic < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :icon_set has_attached_file :icon has_attached_file :flagged end As you can see, IconGraphic has two attached files, basically two different versions of the icon that I want to load. Now, this setup is working okay if I edit the icongraphic's individually, however, for ease of use, I have all the icon graphics editable under the IconSet. When you edit the icon set the form loads a partial for the icongraphics: <% form_for @icon_set, :html => {:class => 'nice', :multipart => true} do |f| %> <fieldset> <%= f.error_messages %> <p> <%= f.label :name %> <%= f.text_field :name, :class => "text_input" %> </p> <!-- Loaded Partial for icongraphics --> <div id="icon_graphics"> <%= render :partial => 'icon_graphic', :collection => @icon_set.icon_graphics %> </div> <div class="add_link"> <%= link_to_function "Add an Icon" do |page| page.insert_html :bottom, :icon_graphics, :partial => 'icon_graphic', :object => IconGraphic.new end %> </div> <p><%= f.submit "Submit" %></p> </fieldset> <% end %> This is based largely off of Ryan's Complex Forms Railscast. The partial loads the file_field forms: <div class="icon_graphic"> <% fields_for "icon_set[icon_graphic_attributes][]", icon_graphic do |icon_form|-%> <%- if icon_graphic.new_record? -%> <strong>Upload Icon: </strong><%= icon_form.file_field :icon, :index => nil %><br/> <strong>Upload Flagged Icon: </strong><%= icon_form.file_field :flagged, :index => nil %> <%= link_to_function image_tag('remove_16.png'), "this.up('.icon_graphic').remove()"%><br/> <% else -%> <%= image_tag icon_graphic.icon.url %><br/> <strong>Replace <%= icon_graphic.icon_file_name %>: </strong><%= icon_form.file_field :icon, :index => nil %><br /> <% if icon_graphic.flagged_file_name.blank? -%> <strong>Upload Flagged Icon: </strong><%= icon_form.file_field :flagged, :index => nil %> <% else -%> <strong>Replace <%= icon_graphic.flagged_file_name %>: </strong><%= icon_form.file_field :flagged, :index => nil %> <%= icon_form.hidden_field :flagged, :index => nil %> <% end -%> <%= link_to_function image_tag('remove_16.png'), "mark_for_destroy(this, '.icon_graphic')"%><br/> <%= icon_form.hidden_field :id, :index => nil %> <%= icon_form.hidden_field :icon, :index => nil %> <%= icon_form.hidden_field :should_destroy, :index => nil, :class => 'should_destroy' %> <br/><br/> <%- end -%> <% end -%> </div> Now, this is looking fine when I add new icons, and fill both fields. However, if I edit the IconSet after the fact, and perhaps try to replace the icon with a new one, or if I uploaded only one of the set and try to add the second attachment, paperclip doesn't put the attachments with the right IconGraphic Model. It seems that even though I have the IconGraphic ID in each partial, <%= icon_form.hidden_field :id, :index => nil %> it seems that paperclip either creates a new IconGraphic or attaches it to the wrong one. This all happens when you save the IconSet, which is setup to save the IconGraphic attributes. I know this is complicated.. I may just have to go to editing each icon individually, but if anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

  • Asks for Account Type twice

    - by André Fecteau
    Been working on this program for a while now. (had some problems and asked a few times here.) Ran into another one though! The program asks for my account type twice. Can not figure out why or how to fix it. • I just don't know what it is, tried everything, IE 7 bug

    - by Emmy
    Has anyone seen this bug? I have a sidebar with a ul nav background image for the hover state, floated right, looks great in all browsers. Then...I added another div underneath it for ad space. inside, there's an anchored image. That image tucks underneath the background image of the nav, but only in IE7 (i abandoned trying to please ie6). So I took it out of the sidebar, played with float, display,height hacks, but nothing works I can declare a large top margin with some more top padding do get it to clear but it breaks the design. i even tried creating a div called clear and put a top margin there. so it displays with this huge gap in chrome, FF, safari but this tiny space between in IE. i even tried creating a div called clear and put a top margin there. I have spent hours trying to find someone with the same problem but to no avail. Any suggestions? Here's a code snippet: <div id="leftsidebar"> <div id="leftnav"> <ul class="slidenav" id="sidenav"> <li id="overview" class="inactive"> <a href="expat.html">expat lifestyle</a> </li> <li id="tips" class="inactive"> <a href="traveltips.html">travel tips</a> </li> <li id="bts" class="inactive"> <a href="bts-mrt.html">bts/mrt</a> </li> <li id="bus" class="inactive"> <a href="bus.html">bus system</a> </li> <li id="van" class="inactive"> <a href="taxi.html">vans/taxis</a> </li> <li id="boat" class="inactive"> <a href="klong.html">boats/klong</a> </li> <li id="boat" class="inactive"> <a href="klong.html">boats/klong</a> </li> <li id="tuk" class="inactive"> <a href="tuk.html">tuk-tuks</a> </li> <li id="train" class="inactive"> <a href="train.html">trains</a> </li> <li id="airport" class="inactive"> <a href="airport.html">int'l airport</a> </li> <li id="dangers" class="inactive"> <a href="dangers.html">dangers</a> </li> <li id="fun" class="inactive"> <a href="fun.html">fun places</a> </li> <li id="shopping" class="inactive"> <a href="shopping.html">shopping</a> </li> </ul> </div> </div> <div id="store"> <a href="astore.amazon.com/ten044-20"; title="Shop WIB store"> <img src="images/WIBstore.png" height="70" width="200" border="none"/> </a> </div> the corresponding CSS: #leftsidebar { float:right; width: 210px; margin: 40px 0 0 0; padding: 0; height:1%; } #store { margin: 20px 0px 0 0px; padding: 0 10px 0 0; float: right; height: 1%; display: inline; } And an image:

  • Unable to center text in IE but works in firefox

    - by greenpool
    Can somebody point out where I'm going wrong with the following code. Text inside td elements need to be centered except for Summary and Experience. This only appears to work in Firefox/chrome. In IE8 all td text are displayed as left-justified. No matter what I try it doesn't center it. Any particular reason why this would happen? Thanks. css #viewAll { font-family:"Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; width:100%; border-collapse:collapse; margin-left:10px; table-layout: fixed; } #viewAll td, #viewAll th { font-size:1.1em; border:1px solid #98bf21; word-wrap:break-word; text-align:center; overflow:hidden; } #viewAll tbody td{ padding:2px; } #viewAll th { font-size:1.1em; padding-top:5px; padding-bottom:4px; background-color:#A7C942; color:#ffffff; } table <?php echo '<table id="viewAll" class="tablesorter">'; echo '<thead>'; echo '<tr align="center">'; echo '<th style="width:70px;">Product</th>'; echo '<th style="width:105px;">Prob</th>'; echo '<th style="width:105px;">I</th>'; echo '<th style="width:60px;">Status</th>'; echo '<th style="width:120px;">Experience</th>'; echo '<th style="width:200px;">Technical Summary</th>'; echo '<th style="width:80px;">Record Created</th>'; echo '<th style="width:80px;">Record Updated</th>'; echo '<th style="width:50px;">Open</th>'; echo '</tr>'; echo '</thead>'; echo '<tbody>'; while ($data=mysqli_fetch_array($result)){ #limiting the summary text displayed in the table $limited_summary = (strlen($data['summary']) > 300) ? substr(($data['summary']),0,300) .   • Log Blog

    - by PointsToShare
    © 2011 By: Dov Trietsch. All rights reserved Logging – A log blog In a another blog (Missing Fields and Defaults) I spoke about not doing a blog about log files, but then I looked at it again and realized that this is a nice opportunity to show a simple yet powerful tool and also deal with static variables and functions in C#. My log had to be able to answer a few simple logging rules:   To log or not to log? That is the question – Always log! That is the answer  Do we share a log? Even when a file is opened with a minimal lock, it does not share well and performance greatly suffers. So sharing a log is not a good idea. Also, when sharing, it is harder to find your particular entries and you have to establish rules about retention. My recommendation – Do Not Share!  How verbose? Your log can be very verbose – a good thing when testing, very terse – a good thing in day-to-day runs, or somewhere in between. You must be the judge. In my Blog, I elect to always report a run with start and end times, and always report errors. I normally use 5 levels of logging: 4 – write all, 3 – write more, 2 – write some, 1 – write errors and timing, 0 – write none. The code sample below is more general than that. It uses the config file to set the max log level and each call to the log assigns a level to the call itself. If the level is above the .config highest level, the line will not be written. Programmers decide which log belongs to which level and thus we can set the .config differently for production and testing.  Where do I keep the log? If your career is important to you, discuss this with the boss and with the system admin. We keep logs in the L: drive of our server and make sure that we have a directory for each app that needs a log. When adding a new app, add a new directory. The default location for the log is also found in the .config file Print One or Many? There are two options here:   1.     Print many, Open but once once – you start the stream and close it only when the program ends. This is what you can do when you perform in “batch” mode like in a console app or a stsadm extension.The advantage to this is that starting a closing a stream is expensive and time consuming and because we use a unique file, keeping it open for a long time does not cause contention problems. 2.     Print one entry at a time or Open many – every time you write a line, you start the stream, write to it and close it. This work for event receivers, feature receivers, and web parts. Here scalability requires us to create objects on the fly and get rid of them as soon as possible.  A default value of the onceOrMany resides in the .config.  All of the above applies to any windows or web application, not just SharePoint.  So as usual, here is a routine that does it all, and a few simple functions that call it for a variety of purposes.   So without further ado, here is app.config  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration>     <configSections>         <sectionGroup name="applicationSettings" type="System.Configuration.ApplicationSettingsGroup, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, ublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" >         <section name="statics.Properties.Settings" type="System.Configuration.ClientSettingsSection, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" requirePermission="false" />         </sectionGroup>     </configSections>     <applicationSettings>         <statics.Properties.Settings>             <setting name="oneOrMany" serializeAs="String">                 <value>False</value>             </setting>             <setting name="logURI" serializeAs="String">                 <value>C:\staticLog.txt</value>             </setting>             <setting name="highestLevel" serializeAs="String">                 <value>2</value>             </setting>         </statics.Properties.Settings>     </applicationSettings> </configuration>   And now the code:  In order to persist the variables between calls and also to be able to persist (or not to persist) the log file itself, I created an EventLog class with static variables and functions. Static functions do not need an instance of the class in order to work. If you ever wondered why our Main function is static, the answer is that something needs to run before instantiation so that other objects may be instantiated, and this is what the “static” Main does. The various logging functions and variables are created as static because they do not need instantiation and as a fringe benefit they remain un-destroyed between calls. The Main function here is just used for testing. Note that it does not instantiate anything, just uses the log functions. This is possible because the functions are static. Also note that the function calls are of the form: Class.Function.  using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Text; using System.IO; namespace statics {       class Program     {         static void Main(string[] args)         {             //write a single line             EventLog.LogEvents("ha ha", 3, "C:\\hahafile.txt", 4, true, false);             //this single line will not be written because the msgLevel is too high             EventLog.LogEvents("baba", 3, "C:\\babafile.txt", 2, true, false);             //The next 4 lines will be written in succession - no closing             EventLog.LogLine("blah blah", 1);             EventLog.LogLine("da da", 1);             EventLog.LogLine("ma ma", 1);             EventLog.LogLine("lah lah", 1);             EventLog.CloseLog(); // log will close             //now with specific functions             EventLog.LogSingleLine("one line", 1);             //this is just a test, the log is already closed             EventLog.CloseLog();         }     }     public class EventLog     {         public static string logURI = Properties.Settings.Default.logURI;         public static bool isOneLine = Properties.Settings.Default.oneOrMany;         public static bool isOpen = false;         public static int highestLevel = Properties.Settings.Default.highestLevel;         public static StreamWriter sw;         /// <summary>         /// the program will "print" the msg into the log         /// unless msgLevel is > msgLimit         /// onceOrMany is true when once - the program will open the log         /// print the msg and close the log. • How to specialize a c++ variadic template?

    - by Serge
    I'm trying to understand c++ variadic templates. I'm not much aware of the correct language to use to explain what I'd like to achieve, so it might be simpler if I provide a bit of code which illustrate what I'd like to achieve. #include <iostream> #include <string> using namespace std; template<int ...A> class TestTemplate1 { public: string getString() { return "Normal"; } }; template<int T, int ...A> string TestTemplate1<2, A...>::getString() { return "Specialized"; } template<typename ...A> class TestTemplate2 { }; int main() { TestTemplate1<1, 2, 3, 4> t1_1; TestTemplate1<1, 2> t1_2; TestTemplate1<> t1_3; TestTemplate1<2> t1_4; TestTemplate2<> t2_1; TestTemplate2<int, double> t2_2; cout << t1_1.getString() << endl; cout << t1_2.getString() << endl; cout << t1_3.getString() << endl; cout << t1_4.getString() << endl; } This throws several errors. error C2333: 'TestTemplate1<::getString' : error in function declaration; skipping function body error C2333: 'TestTemplate1<1,2,3,4::getString' : error in function declaration; skipping function body error C2333: 'TestTemplate1<1,2::getString' : error in function declaration; skipping function body error C2333: 'TestTemplate1<2::getString' : error in function declaration; skipping function body error C2977: 'TestTemplate1' : too many template arguments error C2995: 'std::string TestTemplate1::getString(void)' : function template has already been defined error C3860: template argument list following class template name must list parameters in the order used in template parameter list How can I have a specialized behavior for every TestTemplate1<2, ...> instances like t1_4?

  • MVVM and Animations in Silverlight

    - by Aligned
    I wanted to spin an icon to show progress to my user while some content was downloading. I'm using MVVM (aren't you) and made a satisfactory Storyboard to spin the icon. However, it took longer than expected to trigger that animation from my ViewModel's property.I used a combination of the GoToState action and the DataTrigger from the Microsoft.Expression.Interactions dll as described here.Then I had problems getting it to start until I found this approach that saved the day. The DataTrigger didn't bind right away because "it doesn’t change visual state on load is because the StateTarget property of the GotoStateAction is null at the time the DataTrigger fires.". Here's my XAML, hopefully you can fill in the rest.<Image x:Name="StatusIcon" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="StatusIcon" Width="16" Height="16" Stretch="Fill" Source="inProgress.png" ToolTipService.ToolTip="{Binding StatusTooltip}"> <i:Interaction.Triggers> <utilitiesBehaviors:DataTriggerWhichFiresOnLoad Value="True" Binding="{Binding IsDownloading, Mode=OneWay, TargetNullValue=True}"> <ei:GoToStateAction StateName="Downloading" /> </utilitiesBehaviors:DataTriggerWhichFiresOnLoad> <utilitiesBehaviors:DataTriggerWhichFiresOnLoad Value="False" Binding="{Binding IsDownloading, Mode=OneWay, TargetNullValue=True}"> <ei:GoToStateAction StateName="Complete"/> </utilitiesBehaviors:DataTriggerWhichFiresOnLoad> </i:Interaction.Triggers> <Image.Projection> <PlaneProjection/> </Image.Projection> <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="VisualStateGroup"> <VisualStateGroup.Transitions> <VisualTransition GeneratedDuration="0" To="Downloading"> <VisualTransition.GeneratedEasingFunction> <QuadraticEase EasingMode="EaseInOut"/> </VisualTransition.GeneratedEasingFunction> <Storyboard RepeatBehavior="Forever"> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Projection).(PlaneProjection.RotationZ)" Storyboard.TargetName="StatusIcon"> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:1.5" Value="-360"/> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:2" Value="-360"/> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualTransition> <VisualTransition From="Downloading" GeneratedDuration="0"/> </VisualStateGroup.Transitions> <VisualState x:Name="Downloading"/> <VisualState x:Name="Complete"/> </VisualStateGroup> </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups></Image>MVVMAnimations.zip

  • Calling a WCF service from another WCF service

    - by ultraman69
    Hi ! I have a WCF service hosted on a windows service on my Server1. It also has IIS on this machine. I call the service from a web app and it works fine. But within this service, I have to call another WCF sevice (also hosted on a windows service) located on Server2. The security credentials are set to "Message" and "Username". I have an error like "SOAP protcol negociation failed". It's a problem with my server certificate public key that doesn't seem to be recognise. However, if I call the service on the Server2 from Server1 in a console app, it works fine. I followed this tutorial to set up my certificates : http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WCF/wcf_certificates.aspx Here's the config file from my service on Server1 that tries to call the second one : <endpoint address="" binding="wsHttpBinding" contract="Microsoft.ServiceModel.Samples.ITraitement" /> <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> </service> </services> <client> <endpoint address="http://Server2:8000/servicemodelsamples/service" behaviorConfiguration="myClientBehavior" binding="wsHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="MybindingCon" contract="Microsoft.ServiceModel.Samples.ICalculator" name=""> <identity> <dns value="ODWCertificatServeur" /> </identity> </endpoint> </client> <bindings> <wsHttpBinding> <binding name="MybindingCon"> <security mode="Message"> <message clientCredentialType="UserName" /> </security> </binding> </wsHttpBinding> </bindings> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="ServiceTraitementBehavior"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="True"/> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="True" /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> <endpointBehaviors> <behavior name="myClientBehavior"> <clientCredentials> <clientCertificate findValue="MachineServiceTraitement" x509FindType="FindBySubjectName" storeLocation="LocalMachine" storeName="My" /> <serviceCertificate> <authentication certificateValidationMode="ChainTrust" revocationMode="NoCheck"/> </serviceCertificate> </clientCredentials> </behavior> </endpointBehaviors> </behaviors> And here's the config file from the web app that calls the service on Server1 : <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <wsHttpBinding> <binding name="WSHttpBinding_ITraitement" closeTimeout="00:01:00" openTimeout="00:01:00" receiveTimeout="00:10:00" sendTimeout="00:01:00" bypassProxyOnLocal="false" transactionFlow="false" hostNameComparisonMode="StrongWildcard" maxBufferPoolSize="524288" maxReceivedMessageSize="65536" messageEncoding="Text" textEncoding="utf-8" useDefaultWebProxy="true" allowCookies="false"> <readerQuotas maxDepth="32" maxStringContentLength="8192" maxArrayLength="16384" maxBytesPerRead="4096" maxNameTableCharCount="16384" /> <reliableSession ordered="true" inactivityTimeout="00:10:00" enabled="false" /> <security mode="Message"> <transport clientCredentialType="Windows" proxyCredentialType="None" realm="" /> <message clientCredentialType="Windows" negotiateServiceCredential="true" algorithmSuite="Default" establishSecurityContext="true" /> </security> </binding> </wsHttpBinding> </bindings> <client> <endpoint address="http://localhost:8020/ServiceTraitementPC" binding="wsHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="WSHttpBinding_ITraitement" contract="ITraitement" name="WSHttpBinding_ITraitement"> </endpoint> </client> Any idea why it works if if I call it in a console app and not from my service ? Maybe it has something to do with the certificateValidationMode="ChainTrust" ?

  • How to intercept raw soap request/response (data) from WCF client

    - by JohnIdol
    This question seems to be pretty close to what I am looking for - I was able to setup tracing and I am looking at the log entries for my calls to the service. However I need to see the raw soap request with the data I am sending to the service and I see no way of doing that from the SvcTraceViewer (only log entries are shown but no data sent to the service) - am I just missing configuration? Here's what I got in my web.config: <system.diagnostics> <sources> <source name="System.ServiceModel" switchValue="Verbose" propagateActivity="true"> <listeners> <add name="sdt" type="System.Diagnostics.XmlWriterTraceListener" initializeData="App_Data/Logs/WCFTrace.svclog" /> </listeners> </source> </sources> </system.diagnostics> Any help appreciated! • Why will my AdRotator not display images? (Image paths are correct)

    - by KSwift87
    Hi. I'm writing a simple web application in C# and I've gotten to the part where I must add an AdRotator object and link four images to it. I have done this, but no matter what I do the images will not show up; only the alternate text. It makes no sense because the paths are correct. Supposedly AdRotator controls are really simple to use... But anyway below is my code. • Adding sections to a plist for Xcode for use in Cocoa touch Table View

    - by Steve
    I am a beginning iPhone SDK programmer. I built a simple practice application I am trying to use to learn more about table views. It's an app that loads football teams from a plist and displays them in a table view with their stadium name and logo. Tapping the team goes to a detail view for that team. I am trying to understand how to add sections to this, so that I might have a couple of teams in one section and others in another section, etc. I would assume I need to both re-structure my plist and change the code to read arrays from the different levels of the plist? To begin, I had a plist with the root array consisting of 3 dictionaries, one for each team. Each dictionary had 3 keys, "name" "stadium" and "logo". This works fine. I am loading it via: NSString *path = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"teams" ofType:@"plist"]; teams = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:path]; and then // Configure the cell. NSDictionary *team = [teams objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; cell.textLabel.text = [team objectForKey:@"name"]; NSString *imgPath = [team valueForKey:@"logo"]; cell.imageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:imgPath]; cell.detailTextLabel.text =[team objectForKey:@"stadium"]; return cell; No problem. But now I wanted the sections, so I changed my plist to: <array> <dict> <key>teams 1</key> <array> <dict> <key>name</key> <string>Packers</string> <key>stadium</key> <string>Lambeau Field</string> <key>logo</key> <string>packers.jpg</string> </dict> <dict> <key>name</key> <string>Jets</string> <key>stadium</key> <string>Giants Stadium</string> <key>logo</key> <string>jets_logo.jpg</string> </dict> </array> </dict> <dict> <key>teams 2</key> <array> <dict> <key>name</key> <string>Cincinnati Bengals</string> <key>stadium</key> <string>Paul Brown Stadium</string> <key>logo</key> <string>bengals.jpg</string> </dict> </array> </dict> And I am unsure how to modify the viewDidLoad to assign the sections to one NSArray and the teams "level" to another array.

  • MovieClip, counter almost working AS3

    How do I get my counter to work? This was over my director's head. Please include explanation, and feel free to comment. I can press the menu button on the phone and see the menu items I created, but when I click on the "Settings" (r.id.settings) it FC. Do I have to do anything to the manifest/other thing to get this to work??

  • translating play in HTML to python

    - by aharon
    So, I'd like to represent one of Shakespeare's plays, Hamlet, into the following objects (maybe this isn't the best representation, if so please tell me): class Play(): acts = [] ... def add_act(self, act): acts.append(act) class Act(): scenes = [] ... def add_scene(self, scene): scenes.append(scene) class Scene(): elems = [] def __init__(self, title, setting=""): ... def add_elem(self, elem): elems.append(elem) ... class StageDirection(): # elem def __init__(self, text): ... class Line(): # elem def __init__(self, id, text, character = None): ... # A None character represents a continuation from the previous line # id could be, for example, 1.1.1 There are other methods, of course, for printing and such in each of the classes. The question is, how do I get a structure based on these classes (or something like them) from HTML 4 code that looks like this: <H3>ACT I</h3> <h3>SCENE I. Elsinore. A platform before the castle.</h3> <p><blockquote> <i>FRANCISCO at his post. Enter to him BERNARDO</i> </blockquote> <A NAME=speech1><b>BERNARDO</b></a> <blockquote> <A NAME=1.1.1>Who's there?</A><br> </blockquote> <A NAME=speech2><b>FRANCISCO</b></a> <blockquote> <A NAME=1.1.2>Nay, answer me: stand, and unfold yourself.</A><br> </blockquote> <A NAME=speech3><b>BERNARDO</b></a> <blockquote> <A NAME=1.1.3>Long live the king!</A><br> </blockquote> <A NAME=speech4><b>FRANCISCO</b></a> <blockquote> <A NAME=1.1.4>Bernardo?</A><br> </blockquote> <A NAME=speech5><b>BERNARDO</b></a> <blockquote> <A NAME=1.1.5>He.</A><br> </blockquote> <!-- for more, see the source of shakespeare.mit.edu/hamlet/full.html --> translating that into something like this: play = Play() actI = Act() sceneI = Scene("Scene I", "Elsinore. A platform before the castle.") sceneI.add_elem(StageDirection("Francisco at his post. Enter to him Bernardo.")) sceneI.add_elem(Line("Bernardo", "Who's there?")) ... Of course, I don't expect all the code—but what libraries and, when there aren't libraries, logic should I use? Thanks. (This is for a future opensource project and me learning Python for fun—not homework.)

  • CSS menu items flickering in IE6

    - by Quick Joe Smith
    Edit #1: I have just discovered this flicker bug affects IE8 (and therefore most likely IE7) as well. I am putting together a pure-CSS dropdown menu (mostly a learning exercise) and have hit a point in IE where the submenu items are flickering as the mouse moves around within the <li> but outside the inner <a>. Source code is as follows: The included csshover3.htc is downloadable from Peter Nederlof's page for Whatever:hover <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>CSS Menu</title> <style type="text/css"> body { behavior: url("csshover3.htc"); } div#navbar { background-color:#333; font-size:1.4em; overflow:auto; } div#navbar ul { display:inline-block; /* ie6 float container bug */ list-style:none; margin:0px; padding:0px; } div#navbar ul.menu li { float:left; display:inline; /* ie6 double-margin bug */ } div#navbar ul.menu a { display:block; text-decoration:none; color:#fff; padding:5px 10px; } div#navbar ul li a:link, div#navbar ul li a:visited { text-decoration:none; } div#navbar ul li a:hover { color:#333; background-color:#f6c323; } div#navbar ul.menu ul { display:none; } div#navbar ul.menu li:hover ul { display:block; position:absolute; background-color:#333; } div#navbar ul.menu li:hover ul li { float:none; } div#navbar ul.menu li:hover ul ul { display:none; } div#navbar ul.menu li:hover li:hover { position:relative; } div#navbar ul.menu li:hover li:hover ul { display:block; position:absolute; left:100%; top:0; } </style> </head> <body> <h1>CSS Menu</h1> <div id="navbar"> <ul class="menu"> <li><a href="#">A</a></li> <li> <a>B</a> <ul> <li><a href="#">123</a></li> <li><a href="#">2</a></li> <li> <a>Tweee</a> <ul> <li><a href="#">Phwoar</a></li> <li><a href="#">Gr</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li><a href="#">C</a></li> </ul> </div> </body> </html> Live demo: http://jsfiddle.net/4q6Vw/ Any help is appreciated.

  • Unable to execute native sql query

  • jQuery make child div visible on hover (on effective li element only, not parent!)

    - by Dennis
    I've already tried all of the existing posts related to this, but they doesn't work as I want it... The HTML: <ol class="sortable"> <li> <div> <a href="#">Start Page</a> <div class="li_options"> <a href="#"><img src="img/icons/small_add.png" /></a> <a href="#" onClick="[..]"><img src="img/icons/small_remove.png" /></a> </div> <div class="clear"></div> </div> <ol> <li> <div> <a href="#">Sub Seite</a> <div class="li_options"> <a href="#"><img src="img/icons/small_add.png" /></a> <a href="#" onClick="[..]"><img src="img/icons/small_remove.png" /></a> </div> <div class="clear"></div> </div> <ol> <li> <div> <a href="#">Sub Sub Seite</a> <div class="li_options"> <a href="#"><img src="img/icons/small_add.png" /></a> <a href="#" onClick="[..]"><img src="img/icons/small_remove.png" /></a> </div> <div class="clear"></div> </div> </li> </ol> </li> </ol> </li> <div class="clear"></div> This should look like this: Start Page Sub Page Sub Page I want the div.li_options which is set for every li element to be shown only on hovering element. I know, that the parent's li is also being "hovered" on hovering child elements, but I don't those "li_options" to be displayed. The best solution so far: $(document).ready(function() { $('.sortable li').mouseover(function() { $(this).children().children('.li_options').show(); }).mouseout(function() { $(this).children().children('.li_options').hide(); }); }); But with this, parents aren't being excluded... I don't know how to point on them, because there can be endless levels. Do you know how to get this working?
