''); Is there an easy way to do this ? I find a way: take all the unseen mails for the curent day(ex:9 may 2010), loop it and for then checking if it was send in the last X minutes echo it( using the imap_headerinfo-udate )BUT when i looked at gmail.com one email was recevied at 17:08 and on my server appears that the email was received at 14:08 Dan

My app has 3 view controllers: Main View Controller, Second View Controller and Third View Controller. What I want is to start the music in the Main View Controller and stop it when the Third View Controller is presented. • Need to compare blobs in firebird

  Hey guys, I need to check on the contents of blobs in my databases (yes, plural, but one problem at a time). In one database, I have about 900 images of potentially varying sizes. I need to check to see if the versioning system that's built into our application is actually correctly replicating the image data from the previous version to the new version of a record. How do I compare values en masse so I don't have to pick through each record one at a time and open up the blob using FlameRobin or Firebird Maestro and visually compare these images?   Hey everyone, What I am trying to do is pass the raw content of an outgoing email to spamassassin in order to calculate a spam score. I am stuck in how I might get the raw content of the email. My C# code currently just constructs the MailMessage and passes it the SmtpClient's Send() method. Before sending, is there a way to get a raw version of the mail message (as the protocol might see it) so that I can pass this to the spamassassin tool for spam assessment?   hey all, im trying to implement a custom error page, what i want to be able to do is have a single generic error page which can display the error which occurred or other information (custom error message). when a error occurs on the website, the user should be directed to this page which shows the error message. so for example if i had a page which was trying to update something to a database, but something went wrong, i should be redirected to the error page which will have some custom text like something like " there has been an error with bla bla bla ... please contact administrator". hope this makes sense thanks

• Flash / actionscript 3 sound delay.

  Hey. Im working on a flash project where I am loading multiple sounds from external files. The problem is that when I play them within my project there is a small delay from when they should be played until they are actually playing. My sounds are very short and are loaded before the project is actually using them. I have looked up the problem online and it looks like the problem is not something that is only happening for me. But, non of the resources I found had any clear ways of fixing this. Some resources say that you can fix this my constantly having a sound playing in the background. I have that but it does not help. I have also looked at the actual sound file in a sound tool and there is a small delay before the sound starts, but it is very very small and should not result in the delay im seeing in my flash project. Does anyone know of a good way to fix it?

  Hey, I got a working webpage with CodeIgniter. I did now just upload it to my webserver and it gives me a 404 error. The browser address is "web-page.com/folder/en/about" The baseurl in the config is "web-page/folder/" Also this is in the config.php, I did try AUTO but it does not work either. $config['index_page'] = ""; $config['uri_protocol'] = "QUERY_STRING"; The index.php is in "web-page.com/folder/" My htaccess is in "web-page.com/folder/.htaccess" The content of the .htaccess is AddCharset utf-8 .css .html .xhtml Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase /folder/ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|media|layout|css|libs|robots\.txt) RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /folder/index.php?/$1 [L] Do you have any tip, any idea, what can I try to do? • PHP DateTime Regex

  Hey, long story short I have inherited some terrible code. As a result a string comparison is buggy when comparing dates due to the format of the date. I am trying to convert the date to a valid DateFormat syntax so I can run a proper comparison. These are some samples of the current format: 12/01/10 at 8:00PM 12/31/10 at 12:00PM 12/10/09 at 5:00AM and so forth. I'd like to convert this to a YYYYMMDDHHMM format i.e 201012012000 for comparison purposes. If anyone can give me a quick regex snippet to do this that'd be appreciated as right now i'm hitting a brick wall for a regex. I can do it by exploding the string over several times etc but I'd rather do it in a more efficient manner. Thanks!

• What's the Best Practice for Firing Manual OnClick Events?

  Hey guys, I've got an XNA project that will be drawing several objects on the screen. I would like the user to be able to interact with those items. So I'm trying to build a method that checks to see which object the mouse is over, out of those which is the top most, and then fire an OnClick event for that object. Checking for the things above is not the problem, but where to actually put that logic is most of the issue. My initial feeling is that the checking should be handled by a master object - since it doesn't make sense for an object, who ideally knows only about itself, to determine information about the other objects. However, calling OnClick events remotely from the master object seems to be counter-intuitive as well. What's the best practice in this situation? Thanks, Tyler

  Hey guys, I am trying to use the Jets3t library within an Android application, and I keep getting errors with the Rest service when I use the library. 04-27 16:47:39.491: ERROR/S3Service(225): Couldn't initialize a sax driver for the XMLReader I have tried to include the Xerces library and the Crimson library, and it dont play well. I get this error: Attempt to include a core class (java.* or javax.*) in something other than a core library. It is likely that you have attempted to include in an application the core library (or a part thereof) from a desktop virtual machine. This will most assuredly not work. At a minimum, it jeopardizes the compatibility of your app with future versions of the platform. It is also often of questionable legality. If you really intend to build a core library -- which is only appropriate as part of creating a full virtual machine distribution, as opposed to compiling an application -- then use the "--core-library" option to suppress this error message. Is there something I can do to get it working ?

• Remove Duplicates from LEFT OUTER JOIN

  Hey folk my question is quite similar to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/757957/restricting-a-left-join I have a variation in that request though and the comment didn't allow too many characters hence posting as a new question. I hope this doesn't go against the posting rules/etiquette. Assuming i have a table SHOP and another table LOCATION. Location is a sort of child table of table SHOP, that has two columns of interest, one is a Division Key (calling it just KEY) and a "SHOP" number. This matches to the Number "NO" in table SHOP. I tried this left outer join: SELECT S.NO, L.KEY FROM SHOP S LEFT OUTER JOIN LOCATN L ON S.NO = L.SHOP But i'm getting a lot of duplicates since there are many locations that belong to a single shop. I want to eliminate them and just get a list of "shop, key" entries without duplicates. any ideas how? (edit: ORACLE 10g Database)

• Problem with animating the deletion of table rows in jQuery

  Hey guys, I have written some jQuery code to use the "slideUp" animation when deleting rows from a table. In order for the animation to appear smooth, I wrapped the contents of each TD in the row with DIV tags, and called the slideUp function on the DIVs, removing the actual TDs upon completion of the animation. The code for that is as follows: $("tr[id$=" + rowID + "]").children("td").each(function() { $(this).children("div").slideUp(function() { $(this).parent().remove(); }); }); So far, so good. However, I noticed that this code does not remove the actual TR, only its contents, so I added the following line to remove the TR: $("tr[id$=" + rowID + "]").remove(); The problem is that after I added the line above, the animation quit working. In other words, the row simply disappears without the nice sliding effect. Does anybody know why this is so and how to get around it? Thanks in advance for your insights! Victor

• Using CSS Classes for individual effects - opinions?

  Hey, Just trying to canvas some opinions here. I was wondering how people go about adding individual effects to html elements. Take this example: you have three types of h1 titles all the same size but some are black some are gold and some are white. Some have a text-shadow etc. Would you create separate CSS classes and add them do the h1 tag or would you create a new single class for each different h1 title type (with grouped CSS elements)? With singular class for each effect you can build up combos of classes in html class="gold shadow" but also how would you name them. For example its bad practice to give classes and id names associated to colours, because it doesn't define what it does well. However is this ok with textual CSS classes? Just wondering what others do, I know there are no hard and fast rules. Cheers.

For that, I need a way to get the total document size, including the scrollable area.   Hey, what is the best way to concatenate 2 bitsets? For example i've got boost::dynamic_bitset<> test1( std::string("1111") ); boost::dynamic_bitset<> test2( std::string("00") ); they should be concatenated into a thrid Bitset test3 which then holds 111100 Solutions should use boost::dynamic_bitset. If the solution works with std::bitset, it would be nice too. There should be a focus on performance when concatenating the bits.

• "Collection was modified..." Issue

  Hey guys, I've got a function that checks a list of objects to see if they've been clicked and fires the OnClick events accordingly. I believe the function is working correctly, however I'm having an issue: When I hook onto one of the OnClick events and remove and insert the element into a different position in the list (typical functionality for this program), I get the "Collection was modified..." error. I believe I understand what is going on: The function cycles through each object firing OnClick events where necessary An event is fired and the object changes places in the list per the hooked function An exception is thrown for modifying the collection while iterating through it My question is, how to do I allow the function to iterate through all the objects, fire the necessary events at the proper time and still give the user the option of manipulating the object's position in the list? I've looked through the documentation for sqlalchemy and saw that the sqlite_autoincrement can be issued. An example where this attribute is given can be found here. sqlite_autoincrement seems though to be issued when creating the table itself, and I just wondered how it can be supplied when using a declarative style of the model such as mine.

  Hey guys I'm working on the Microsoft Surface Table and I'm attempting to drag an item from 1 SurfaceListBox to another and recognize which SurfaceListBoxItem the other SurfaceListBoxItem was dropped on top of. The SDK help as a great tutorial for dragging items from 1 SurfaceListBox to the next and just adding the content and removing it from the other. If I set AllowDrop=True on the SurfaceListBoxItem the SurfaceListBox still captures the drop. If I set it to false on the SurfaceListBox it doesn't recognize the drop at all. Somehow I need to bury deeper on that drop or something.

• Which license should I use for my open source project

  Hey everybody - I have an open source project that I'm working on and I'm trying to figure out what liscense would be the best match. Essentially my project is a framework that developers will use to create projects of their own. The vision I had for the licensing of the project (in plain English): The user must not sell the source code or any derivatives. The user must not sell the framework or any derivatives. The user is allowed to sell a program which uses the framework. Basically, I just don't want anyone to abuse the open source aspect of the project, take what I've done and turn around and sell it. • WPF: Changing config file user settings at runtime?

  Hey I'm trying to change some config file user settings values in my WPF application, but its only working partly. The value is changed correctly and the program runs fine with the value. I can even restart the program and the value is still the one i changed it to. The problem is that when i open the .exe.config file the value is still the old value. Im using this code to change the value: Properties.Settings.Default.ProjectNumber = varTestExample; Properties.Settings.Default.Save(); Where does this save code save the changes and how/where does the program read the value after i have run this code? If i run a clean version of the program the ProjectNumber value is correctly taken from the .exe.config file and if i change the value in the config file it is also change when i run the program. But as soon as i run the above code the program is not reading the value from the config file. Why?
