  • Quartz Cron Trigger with Spring - triggering new cron before last ended

    Simple question, I think. I have org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.CronTriggerBean triggering one job once a day. Because this method can last a long time (over 24 hours), will the next day at the same time a new job be executed if the last one is not ended yet? If yes - is it possible to turn off executing new jobs until the last one is finished? My method is trans-coding videos and some days there a lot of videos and could last long.

I'd like to see the entire stack trace that Spring-WS is getting, but cannot figure out how to have it logged. Does anybody know how to have this stack trace logged somewhere?

    Hi, guys, I'm writing a JUnit test using JUnitPerf. Here, I want to generate some entries and use them to update a database. To test the capacity of the database, I want several test to run simultaneously or randomly, so I use, for example: Test loadTest = new LoadTest(testCase, n); But, still, I have to insure that in each test, a different update source will be used so that a different entry in the database will be updated. I followed all instructions and the editor is working but i really dont understand what to do to make the correct preview appear, actually I can open the windows preview but i cant get the html code. I had download the parser file (markitup.bbcode.parser.php) and settled the previewParserPath too and i readed about configure or create some preview.php but really I dont know how to do it.   • JMX - MBean automated registration on application deployment

    Hi All, I need some direction with JMX and J2EE. I am aware (after few weeks of research) that the JMX specification is missing as far as deployment is concerned. There are few vendor specific implementations for what I am looking for but none are cross vendor. I would like to automate the deployment of MBeans and registration with the Server. I need the server to load and register my MBeand when the application is deployed and remove when the application is un-deployed. I develop with: NetBean 6.7.1, GlassFish 2.1, J2EE5, EJB3 More specific, I need a way to manage timer service runs. My application need to run different archiving agents and batch reporting. I was hoping the JMX will give me remote access to create and manage the timer services and enable the user to create his own schedule. If the JMX is auto registered on application deployment the user can immediately connect and manage the schedule. On the other hand, how can an EJB connect/access an MBean? Many thanks in advance.   • Wifi and 3G same time

    For my App I need Data from both, a local Network and the Internet. The local Network (Wifi) has no connection to the internet so I have to use the mobile connection (3G for Example). But whenever I connect to the local Network, 3G stopps. After asking the Samsung Service, there is no way to change that in the UI. But they couldn't tell me, if there is a programmable Interface for that. There is a mobile access point inside, so there is a way to connect a Wifi device to the Internet (which means that both, a wifi and a 3G connection is possible the same time in that way). But for my App the phone/tab has to connect to the existing Network and use the 3G for Internet. So this is my question here. Is there a way to connect to an existing Network and using 3G for Internet the same time?

  • Using IvyDE with different workspaces on different branches

    I am having problems using IvyDE when I have different workspaces for different branches. I have "Resolve dependencies in workspace" switched on. But everytime I change to a different workspace I have to remember to manually clean the caches out. This is because IvyDE always uses the default cache for resolving dependencies within a workspace, so when switching between workspaces the cache can be polluted by different versions. It would seem that it is impossible to work with two different workspaces at the same time. I cannot find a way to configure the location that IvyDE uses to cache the project dependencies. It does not appear to use the caches defined in the ivysettings.xml

  • How to prevent popups when loading a keystore

    Hi as corollary to this question I wanted to ask if you know how to prevent the poping of dialogue either to ask for password or to ask to insert a certificate. We are currently building a system where we have to use the windows keystore to get certificates that are stored on USB token containing both reader and certificate. Unlike the original question we do not experience problems when loading the keystore but when we are accessing it. If there is only a single certificate in the keystore no problem, we get the appropriate password popup at the appropriate time and that's it. However if a second USB key gets inserted in the system and later removed the entry remains in the keystore and from then-on every time we try to access information in the keystore we get a popup to insert the key. This occurs for every certificates in the store for which the key is not currently connected to the computer. The system we are interfacing with that requires these certificates necessitates that we perform multiple cryptographic operations and to have these popups to come up every times is rather annoying to say the least.

    We're using hdsqldb in memory to run junit tests which operate against a database. The db is setup before running each test via a spring configuration. All works fine. Now when a tests fails it can be convinient to be able to inspect the values in the in memory database. Is this possible? If so how? Our url is: jdbc.url=jdbc:hsqldb:mem:testdb;sql.enforce_strict_size=true The database is destroyed after each tests. But when the debugger is running the database should also still be alive. I've tried connecting with the sqldb databaseManager. That works, but I don't see any tables or data. Any help is highly appreciated!

    So we are a few guys developing this product that is communicating with a really unstable server. It often returns very strange and corrupt data. During testing we want the resulting crashes to be loud, so we discover them. But every other day we need to demonstrate our product for a potential customer. To the customer the errors will go undiscovered if we just swallow them. The question is what if i extended a classloader , loaded there some new classes. to the my custom classloader.     I have a string of binary numbers that was originally a regular string and will return to a regular string after some bit manipulation. I'm trying to do a simple caesarian shift on the binary string, and it needs to be reversable. I've done this with this method.. public static String cShift(String ptxt, int addFactor) { String ascii = ""; for (int i = 0; i < ptxt.length(); i+=8) { int character = Integer.parseInt(ptxt.substring(i, i+8), 2); byte sum = (byte) (character + addFactor); ascii += (char)sum; } String returnToBinary = convertToBinary(ascii); return returnToBinary; } This works fine in some cases. However, I think when it rolls over being representable by one byte it's irreversable. On the test string "test!22*F ", with an addFactor of 12, the string becomes irreversible. Why is that and how can I stop it?

It seems to me that the break command does not work. What can be a possible reason for that. The interesting thing is that it happens not all the time. Sometimes my program works fine, sometimes the above described problem happens.

    I have the following problem. I have a charting program, and it's design is black, but the charts (that I get from the server as images) are light (it actually uses only 5 colors: red, green, white, black and gray). To fit with the design inversion does a good job, the only problem is that red and green are inverted also (green - pink, red - green). Is there a way to invert everything except those 2 colors, or a way to repaint those colors after inversion? And how costly are those operations (since I get the chart updates pretty often)? Thanks in advance :) UPDATE I tried replacing colors with setPixel method in a loop for(int x = 0 ;x < chart.getWidth();x++) { for(int y = 0;y < chart.getHeight();y++) { final int replacement = getColorReplacement(chart.getPixel(x, y)); if(replacement != 0) { chart.setPixel(x, y, replacement); } } } Unfortunetely, the method takes too long (~650ms), is there a faster way to do it, and will setPixels() method work faster?
