HTML/jQuery/CSS Drop Down Menu Issue / Safari

I have a drop down menu that is coded in HTML, CSS, and jQuery and it works fine in Firefox and IE but not in Safari, and also not in Firefox on Mac. The drop down displays inline as opposed to list-item for the drop down in Safari. Initializing Disqus comments in hidden element causes issue in FF 14.0.1

This issue appears only in Firefox 14.0.1 (well I couldn't reproduce it in any other browser). If you put the code for Disqus comments inside an element that is hidden and wait until everything is fully loaded and then display the element using JavaScript, the comment box nor comments will show up. However if you resize the window, it'll show up immediately. It's working fine in latest version of Google Chrome and Safari though. What's causing this and how to fix it? IE10 - Progress bar animation issue

I'm trying to incorporate some animated progress bars but I'm having trouble getting them to animate in IE10. I believe the problem is due to the keyframes being inside the media query but have not been able to get it working. Thanks for your help. IE7 Debug Issue - Word Breaks in <li>

Hello, I am having a very basic problem in IE7 that I cannot seem to fix. If you look at this page: http://vitaminjdesign.com/IAM/company/ you will notice that the vertical nav (ul id="leftcol") is displaying incorrectly in IE7. Each word appears on its own line. Background image css opera issue

Am having an issue in opera. I have a series on hyperlinnks in a ul li with backgorund images applied. The pointer cursor isnt displaying when I hover over the links. Issue in alternate Row color using each() method of JQuery

I have a table as under <table > <tr> <th scope="col">EmpId</th><th scope="col">EmpName</th> </tr> <tr> <td>1</td><td>ABC</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2</td><td>DEF</td> </tr> </table> I want to set the alternate row color of only the "td" elements of the table and not "th" by using only each() function. I have tried with <style type="text/css"> tr.even { background-color: green; } tr.odd { background-color: yellow; } </style> $(document).ready(function () { $('table > tbody').each(function () { $('tr:odd', this).addClass('odd').removeClass('even'); $('tr:even', this).addClass('even').removeClass('odd'); }); }); Though this works but it accepts also "th" element. How to avoid that? Please help Thanks

Redmine on Apache2 with Passenger issue

I installed Redmine and run it in Apache2 with the Passenger module. Apache2 boots, Passenger module gets loaded and the Redmine welcome page is shown, however when trying to login or navigate to other parts of the Redmine site, the browser keeps loading and loading and loading forever, although the Redmine production.log indicates redirects and HTTP 200 codes in the header, so everything seems to work correctly according to the log. I tested in various browsers. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? I will add apache configuration and some relevant log snippets from both apache and redmine hereafter. Windows 2008 DFS Replication Issue

We have two Server 2008 R2 servers running DFS-R (named dfs01 and dfs02) in a 2008 R2 Domain. Today I found the files in server dfs01 can not be replicated to dfs02. So I used the command dfsrdiag backlog /rgname:<group> /rfname:<folder> /sendingmember:dfs01/receivingmember:dfs02 to check the backlog. After executing the command, I get the following error: Failed to execute GetVersionVector Method. Err: -2147217406 <0x80041002 operation Failed. How can I resolve this?

Kodak Scanner Software Issue 0xc0000005

I am trying to be able to use a program called Kodak Smart Touch, but just today I have experienced an error preventing it from opening. The scanner is a business class scanner, an i2900. It comes with a small program called Kodak Smart Touch. This program allows you to select and customize a number of presets on the front panel and automatically create/save scanned files, etc. I was running a backup with Aomei Backupper at the time, and I wanted to scan a file. I tried to scan as normal, but right at the end the program quit with an error. Now, whenever I try to start Smart Touch, even not running the backup and with Aomei uninstalled, the following error pops up: Title of message: KSSCFG (version 1.7.15.121102) has stopped working. Body: See (path name) for more information. When I go to the path in the error message, there are two files, ERRORLOG.txt and KSSCFG.dmp. The error log says, "KSSCFG (version 1.7.15.322.121102) case an Access Violation(0xc0000005). Error occur at 2014/06/11 21:37:54 Operation System: Windows 7 64bits (6.1.7601) processor(s) type AMD x86 or x64" The dump file can be downloaded here: http://l.bitcasa.com/yzbtv1VV Opening it with a hex editor yields very little of use, but I do have an internal commandline utility that may help: http://l.bitcasa.com/cTXvAsst I've already uninstalled and reinstalled all the kodak software several times to no avail. Server 2012 DFS New Member Issue

I am trying to add a new member to our DFS topology. We have 3 DCs (VMs - VMware) running Windows server 2012, two servers are located in or Primary site and the third at our DR site. Currently the two servers at our primary site are currently replicating DFS (full mesh) and are working fine. I have tried several times to add the third DC to our DFS topology, every time i configure the replication path e.g E:\MSI and click ok the MMC snap in crashes. Below is the crash info, any idea what is causing this? What i am doing is fairly straight forward and don't see why this would be happening. Weird vps server issue

I have an unmanaged linux vps Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot). I have LNMP installed. Also php-fpm php-apc, varnish, memcache. I have (or rather had) several live sites on it. under normal load the server uses ~700 mb memory. But since last night its using only 20mb~ memory and a lot of the services seems to be down (according to htop) I only see nginx working and mysql starts up and goes does every few minutes on a loop. Juniper EX3300 routing issue

The routing on my Juniper EX3300 does not seem to be working. My ISP's gateway is at xx.xx.xx.xx. And I have the following in the configuration: routing-options { static { route 0.0.0.0/0 { next-hop xx.xx.xx.xx; retain; } } } I can ping to my ISP's gateway from the switch. However, I can NOT ping to any other IP. When I do a traceroute (to Google.com's IP). This is what I get: traceroute to 74.125.224.69 (74.125.224.69), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets traceroute: sendto: No route to host 1 traceroute: wrote 74.125.224.69 40 chars, ret=-1 *traceroute: sendto: No route to host Do I need to enable any protocols? I guess this goes without saying, but I am kind of new to Junos. i don't know how to open a specific port (rtmp=1935) on my CentOS server using Plesk or itables. I created new rules for port 1935 i/o using Plesk/Modules/Firewall but this doesn't work. Nmap scanning tells me this : 1935/tcp filtered rtmp . Windows Server 2003 Trial Activation Issue

I have a Windows Server 2003 (R2 Enterprise with SP2) VM, originally installed with a trial license. We forgot about the server, and now more than 120 days has passed, and I can't do anything with the server. I seem to be at a dead end with the existing installation. When I log in, I get: The evaluation period for this copy of Windows has ended. Windows cannot start. To continue using Windows, please purchase and install a retail copy of the product. Fine. I'll do that with my MSDN media. I should add that safe mode works, but there isn't anything obvious that I found to help me there Next up, I tried repairing my installation: Boot from Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with SP2 media, tell it I want to install (as opposed to recovery console), then let it repair the existing install. Once that completes and reboots I log in: This copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can continue. You cannot log on until you activate Windows. Do you want to activate Windows now? To shut down the computer, click Cancel. Great! I click "Yes" and am left with a big blue screen. Not a blue screen of death, just a blue screen (i.e. the default windows desktop background color). No Ctrl+Alt+Del. All I can do is power cycle. I have some complex third-party software on there that I can't reinstall, which is why I haven't already built a fresh Windows VM and copied everything over. I have a backup of the VM from after trial period expired but before I installed anything. Ideas?

Cisco Anyconnect Issue on HTC HD2

Hello, We've just got a HTC HD2 handset through (UK - T-mobile); and we've installed the Cisco Anyconnect client. It connects ok but then after a few seconds disconnects, then reconnects. It then keeps cycling through in this way, and at no point can we even attempt to sync Exchange! Our ASA 5510 reports; Group User IP <149.254.217.2 SVC Message: 17/ERROR: Reconnecting to recover from error.. And from the phone log; 10:56:03Debug Function: CSocketTransport::getTransportMTU File: ..\IPC\SocketTransport.cpp Line: 1058 Invoked Function: CNetInterface::GetTcpIpMTU Return Code: -32571377 (0xFE0F000F) Description: NETINTERFACE_ERROR_INTERFACE_NOT_AVAILABLE Does anyone have any advice on why it's constantly disconnecting? The phone log does suggest a lack of service; but the phone can browse the net, make calls, etc and appears to have good signal throughout. We did try the Anyconnect software on a Windows 7 PC which worked fine, no drop outs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Myles

Weird FTP issue between Unity Express and Windows Server 2008 FTP

My VOIP specialist complained about not being able to run backups of the Unity Express onto our FTP server (Microsoft FTP on Server 2008). I did a packet trace and observed some weird behavior that I think is even kind of funny in a way. The Unity FTP client is able to initiate both control and data connections with no problem, even being able to LIST directories and CWD into them. But as soon as the client sends a SYST command (not sure why it cares), the server replies with "Windows_NT" and lo and behold...the client immediately sends a QUIT command! I've seen this happen consistently on my packet captures. I tried pointing the Unity FTP client to a FileZilla FTP server, and viola...it worked fine! Has anyone else observed this? I thought it was kinda funny, being that Cisco seems to not like Microsoft that much...

LDAP authentication issue with Kerio Connect

We have Kerio Connect (mail server) running on a Windows Server 2003 server on a domain. In the webmail client, users are able to change their domain password. This functionality used to work fine until a user tried to change their password a few days ago, when every password they'd try would result in the webmail client claiming their password was "invalid". I spoke to Kerio about this and they claim that this error is returned by the domain controller, which supports my initial investigations. The error that the DC is logging when an attempt is made to change the password is this: "80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, vece" The "data 52e" part indicates that this is an "invalid credentials" error. I don't see how this can be as I've tried (in the Kerio Connect configuration) various accounts that have privileges to modify accounts, including my own as I am a domain admin. I have ran 'dcdiag' (all tests) on the DC and it came back passing every single one of them. I've searched high and low for an answer to this and came up empty. Does anyone have any idea why this may have suddenly started happening? Thanks! Edit: I should mention that the passwords we are changing to do comply with the complexity policy.

Permissions issue Mac OS X Client -> Mac OS X Server

I can't get access to a folder on our server and can't understand why. Perhaps someone will see what I'm overlooking... Trouble accessing /Library/Subdirectory/NextDirectory/ User joe can ssh to the server just fine and cd to /Library/Subdirectory/ however trying to cd into the next folder, NextDirectory, gives this error: -bash: cd: NextDirectory/: Permission denied both username joe & bill are members of the group admin and both can get INTO Subdirectory without any trouble... hostname:Library joe$ ls -l | grep Subdirectory drwxrwxr-x 3 bill admin 102 Jun 1 14:51 Subdirectory and from w/in the Subversion folder hostname:Subdirectory joe$ ls -l drwxrwx--- 5 root admin 170 Jun 1 22:19 NextDirectory bill can cd into NextDirectory but joe cannot!?! What am I overlooking? What tools do we have to troubleshoot this? thanks!

VirtualBox Issue: virtualbox changed my Computer Name's ip address in Windows

I had installed virtualbox 4.2.2 in Windows 7. Install VPN client issue

I'm trying to install the Shrew VPN client. In the process of installation an error occurs: Error 0x800f0203: Couldn't install the network component. It occurs when the installer tries to execute C:\Program Files\ShrewSoft\VPN Client\netcfg.exe -add service vflt C:\Program Files\ShrewSoft\VPN Client\drivers\vfilter.inf Antivirus, firewall, etc are disabled and I'm running as an administrator. I've installed vfilter.inf manually, but it leads nowhere. I have a similar situation with the Cisco VPN client. I need a VPN client supports group authorization, and imports the settings from pcf format. Windows Vista 32-bit, Shrew client 2.1.5, also try 2.0.0 for 32-bit.

Under logs folder, in my machine it is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log, there are three kinds of files, •ERRORLOG, ERRORLOG.1, ERRORLOG.2 ... ERRORLOG.6; •FDLAUNCHERRORLOG, FDLAUNCHERRORLOG.1, FDLAUNCHERRORLOG.2, ...FDLAUNCHERRORLOG.6; •log_207.trc, log_208.trc, ... My question is what are the differnet function of such log files? And why there are files ends with .1, .2, etc? thanks in advance, George
