    I have a Perl script to open this page http://svejo.net/popular/all/new/ and filter the names of the posts but except headers everything seems encrypted. Nothing can be read. When I open the same page in a browser everything looks fine including the source code. How is it possible to encrypt a page for a script and not for a browser? My Perl script sends the same headers as my browser (Google Chrome).

I really like mixed declarations and code since it makes the code more readable and prevents hard to see bugs by restricting the scope of the variables to the narrowest possible.     I sent a request to ops today to update some php.ini directives, and found out that he merely appended them to the end of the file. My google search didn't really come up with any info on whether this is a problem or not to have duplicates in there and how they would be parsed. Obviously, it can cause confusion, but, I would have a stronger argument if I knew if this was acceptable or not. Any input? Thanks in advance...

For example, in Google Maps, when the user scrolls past the bounds of the currently rendered area, a grey checkerboard pattern is displayed within the not-yet-rendered portions while the application loads and renders those areas. I'm looking specifically for the approach, or the mathematics, related to filling a graphics area in chunks based on what has just come into view. If possible, I'm looking for anything relevant to the GDI+ process of doing so.

    i'm looking for a js engine to that I can (easily) expose C/C++ functions, classes etc. The API should allow changing exposed values from within C++ (by storing some kind of pointer or reference to an object inside js or so...). I've considered using google's v8 but I'm new to it and don't know whether it will satisfy my requirements. Can someone tell me whether I should stick to v8 or try something else?

    I'm trying to redo an existing panel that I made before GWT 2.0 was released. The panel has a few text fields and a scrollable panel below in a VerticalPanel.
