    Hello, which free PDF viewers are available to directly show a PDF file inside a webpage? I don't want to use Adobe Reader integration because I don't like it. I tried with Google Docs Viewer and it works fine but doesn't resize as I resize the page.. I would like to know if something quite light that can also be easily resized according to the page exists.. any suggestions?

I worked on a project that used Office Automation in .NET 1.1 a few years ago, and it was really unspeakably poor. The concept is this: You have a table in a database and the table has a specified number of columns. However, it has been asked of me by previous clients that there also be a set of dynamic user defined columns that can be added on the fly.     somehow couldn't find this with a google search, but I feel like it has to be simple...I need to convert a string to a fixed-length byte array, e.g. write "asdf" to a byte[20] array. the data is being sent over the network to a c++ app that expects a fixed-length field, and it works fine if I use a BinaryWriter and write the characters one by one, and pad it by writing '\0' an appropriate number of times. is there a more appropriate way to do this?
