• Error when specifying tag attributes in NHaml

  I am just getting started with NHaml and ran into a snag. This is my application.haml file: %html %head %title = Get Some Data %link{ href="/media/css/styles.css", rel="Stylesheet", type="text/css" } %body %div.page %h1 = Get Some Data _ When I try to view in a browser it throw the following error: NHaml.Exceptions.SyntaxException: The attribute ',' is occurs twice. If I remove the line beginning with %link it works fine. What am I doing wrong?   EDIT Taking COST 100 out made the command go through, however, I'm still unable to run my query because it yields this error: ERROR: function group_concat(character) does not exist HINT: No function matches the given name and argument types.   Trying to tidy up scope and avoid possible multiple calls to RegisterWindowMessage. Currently have a class used once with the following member [DllImport("user32.dll", SetLastError = true, CharSet = CharSet.Auto)] static extern int RegisterWindowMessage(string lpString); private int m_message = RegisterWindowMessage("MY_MSG"); As we only have one instance this seems ok, but think it would be more tidy to use. With my basic C# understanding this should call RegisterWindowMessage and assign the result to int and not allow it to change. private const int message = RegisterWindowMessage("MY_MSG"); however attempting to do so leads to a error CS0133: The expression being assigned to 'someclass.messageEvent' must be constant so now I'm confused, does this mean the function was being assigned and called each time m_message was used previously, is there something else missing?

  I want to know if there is a good compatible api that supports erb and javascript highlighting. I've already tried Eclipse with Aptana RadRails. Perhaps I'm configuring something wrong, but it guesses that I'm using html.erb on both css.erb and js.erb files. I've tried too the Emacs with js2-mode, nXhtml and Rinari modes. Again, it works fine for html.erb, but it detects the css.erb and js.erb as html.erb files. Maybe it's possible to configure it to accept that files and be compatible.

• Can somebody explain this Objective C method declaration syntax

  I'm working through an iPhone development book* without really knowing Objective C. For the most part I'm able to follow what's going on, but there are a few method declarations like the one below that I'm having a bit of trouble parsing. For example: - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger) section { return [self.controllers count]; //controllers is an instance variable of type NSArray in this class } It looks this is a method called numberOfRowsInSection, and it returns an NSInteger, and takes an NSInteger as a parameter which is locally called 'section'. But I don't understand all the references to tableView, or why this takes a parameter when it is not used within the method. Can somebody clarify this? I keep coming across these two structures: NSString * somestring (NSString *) somestring I understand the first simply sets a pointer to an NSString object, but what does the second construct do, and when should I use it?   hello, i'm currently looking at a little 3rd-party javascript library and i see a lot of "sign-prefixed" variables in it: function_call(+value); i know, that you can swap the sign, if you prefix a variable with '-', but why to prefix something with a '+' -- it doesn't do anything to the value, no? thanks in advance!

  Hello I can't find any resources which can answer why I'm getting an error with this: oncomplete="#{MyBacking.oError ? #{rich:component('oErrorPanel')}.show() : return false;}" in a richfaces a4j:commandButton. oError is referring to a method in my bean called isOError. I'm getting the error SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet Faces Servlet threw exception org.apache.el.parser.ParseException: Encountered " "?" "? "" at line 1, column 30. Was expecting one of: "}" ... "." ... ... I want to say 'if a method returns true, show modal panel A otherwise false'. Any help much appreciated.

  After following a tutorial Ive found. Im now redoing it again, without the scaffolding part, to learn it better. However, editing my \app\views\home\index.html.erb to contain: <h1>Rails test project</h1> <%= link_to "my blog", posts_path> I get an error: undefined local variable or method `posts_path' for #<ActionView::Base:0x4e1d954> Before I did this, I ran rake db:create, defined a migration class and ran rake db:migrate, everything without a problem. So the database should contain a posts table. But that link_to command cant seem to find posts_path. That variable (or is it even a function?) is probably defined through the scaffold routine. My question now is; how do I do that manually myself, define posts_path?
