  • WebClient error when using a thread in .NET

    - by Kiranu
    I'm having a very weird error using the WebClient class in .NET 4. The app simply downloads some files off the internet and provides output on a textbox (the GUI is WPF). The method that does this is the following: void DownloadFiles(object files) { fileL = (List<string>) files; foreach (string url in fileL) { byte[] data; using (System.Net.WebClient k = new WebClient()) { data = k.DownloadData(url); } //Bunch of irrelevant code goes here... } } (I added the using while trying to divine [yes I'm that desperate/ignorant] a solution, the problem happens even if the webclient is declared and initialized outside the foreach loop) Now the problem appears only when I'm executing this method on a thread separate from the WPF UI main thread. If it is executed on the UI thread then it works perfectly. When a new thread is created with: Thread t = new Thread(DownloadFiles); t.Start(files); The first time the code goes into the loop it will work, but when its the second pass inside the loop, I will always receive a TargetParameterCountException. I can't make any sense of this error. Any help is very much appreciated. EDIT Here are the Exception Details: Exception.Message = "Parameter count mismatch." Exception.InnerException = null Exception.Source = " mscorlib" The StackTrace follows: at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture, Boolean skipVisibilityChecks) at System.Delegate.DynamicInvokeImpl(Object[] args) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.InvokeImpl() at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.InvokeInSecurityContext(Object state) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.runTryCode(Object userData) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.RuntimeHelpers.ExecuteCodeWithGuaranteedCleanup(TryCode code, CleanupCode backoutCode, Object userData) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean ignoreSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperation.Invoke() at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.ProcessQueue() at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.WndProcHook(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam, Boolean& handled) at MS.Win32.HwndWrapper.WndProc(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam, Boolean& handled) at MS.Win32.HwndSubclass.DispatcherCallbackOperation(Object o) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.InvokeImpl(DispatcherPriority priority, TimeSpan timeout, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Win32.HwndSubclass.SubclassWndProc(IntPtr hwnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wParam, IntPtr lParam) at MS.Win32.UnsafeNativeMethods.DispatchMessage(MSG& msg) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrameImpl(DispatcherFrame frame) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrame(DispatcherFrame frame) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.Run() at System.Windows.Application.RunDispatcher(Object ignore) at System.Windows.Application.RunInternal(Window window) at System.Windows.Application.Run(Window window) at System.Windows.Application.Run() at FileDownloader.App.Main() in d:\mis documentos\visual studio 2010\Projects\OneMangaDownloader\FileDownloader\obj\x86\Debug\App.g.cs:line 0 at System.AppDomain._nExecuteAssembly(RuntimeAssembly assembly, String[] args) at System.AppDomain.ExecuteAssembly(String assemblyFile, Evidence assemblySecurity, String[] args) at Microsoft.VisualStudio.HostingProcess.HostProc.RunUsersAssembly() at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart_Context(Object state) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean ignoreSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()

  • Injecting jms resource in servlet & best practice for MDB

    - by kislo_metal
    using ejb 3.1, servlet 3.0 (glassfish server v3) Scenario: I have MDB that listen to jms messages and give processing to some other session bean (Stateless). Servelet injecting jms resource. Question 1: Why servlet can`t inject jms resources when they use static declaration ? @Resource(mappedName = "jms/Tarturus") private static ConnectionFactory connectionFactory; @Resource(mappedName = "jms/StyxMDB") private static Queue queue; private Connection connection; and @PostConstruct public void postConstruct() { try { connection = connectionFactory.createConnection(); } catch (JMSException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } @PreDestroy public void preDestroy() { try { connection.close(); } catch (JMSException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } The error that I get is : [#|2010-05-03T15:18:17.118+0300|WARNING|glassfish3.0|javax.enterprise.system.container.web.com.sun.enterprise.web|_ThreadID=35;_ThreadName=Thread-1;|StandardWrapperValve[WorkerServlet]: PWC1382: Allocate exception for servlet WorkerServlet com.sun.enterprise.container.common.spi.util.InjectionException: Error creating managed object for class ua.co.rufous.server.services.WorkerServiceImpl at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl.createManagedObject(InjectionManagerImpl.java:312) at com.sun.enterprise.web.WebContainer.createServletInstance(WebContainer.java:709) at com.sun.enterprise.web.WebModule.createServletInstance(WebModule.java:1937) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapper.loadServlet(StandardWrapper.java:1252) Caused by: com.sun.enterprise.container.common.spi.util.InjectionException: Exception attempting to inject Unresolved Message-Destination-Ref ua.co.rufous.server.services.WorkerServiceImpl/[email protected]@null into class ua.co.rufous.server.services.WorkerServiceImpl at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl._inject(InjectionManagerImpl.java:614) at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl.inject(InjectionManagerImpl.java:384) at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl.injectInstance(InjectionManagerImpl.java:141) at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl.injectInstance(InjectionManagerImpl.java:127) at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl.createManagedObject(InjectionManagerImpl.java:306) ... 27 more Caused by: com.sun.enterprise.container.common.spi.util.InjectionException: Illegal use of static field private static javax.jms.Queue ua.co.rufous.server.services.WorkerServiceImpl.queue on class that only supports instance-based injection at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.util.InjectionManagerImpl._inject(InjectionManagerImpl.java:532) ... 31 more |#] my MDB : /** * asadmin commands * asadmin create-jms-resource --restype javax.jms.ConnectionFactory jms/Tarturus * asadmin create-jms-resource --restype javax.jms.Queue jms/StyxMDB * asadmin list-jms-resources */ @MessageDriven(mappedName = "jms/StyxMDB", activationConfig = { @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "connectionFactoryJndiName", propertyValue = "jms/Tarturus"), @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "acknowledgeMode", propertyValue = "Auto-acknowledge"), @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationType", propertyValue = "javax.jms.Queue") }) public class StyxMDB implements MessageListener { @EJB private ActivationProcessingLocal aProcessing; public StyxMDB() { } public void onMessage(Message message) { try { TextMessage msg = (TextMessage) message; String hash = msg.getText(); GluttonyLogger.getInstance().writeInfoLog("geted jms message hash = " + hash); } catch (JMSException e) { } } } everything work good without static declaration: @Resource(mappedName = "jms/Tarturus") private ConnectionFactory connectionFactory; @Resource(mappedName = "jms/StyxMDB") private Queue queue; private Connection connection; Question 2: what is the best practice for working with MDB : processing full request in onMessage() or calling another bean(Stateless bean in my case) in onMessage() method that would process it. Processing including few calls to soap services, so the full processing time could be for a 3 seconds. Thank you.

  • C# Silverlight - Delay Child Window Load?!

    - by Goober
    The Scenario Currently I have a C# Silverlight Application That uses the domainservice class and the ADO.Net Entity Framework to communicate with my database. I want to load a child window upon clicking a button with some data that I retrieve from a server-side query to the database. The Process The first part of this process involves two load operations to load separate data from 2 tables. The next part of the process involves combining those lists of data to display in a listbox. The Problem The problem with this is that the first two asynchronous load operations haven't returned the data by the time the section of code to combine these lists of data is reached, thus result in a null value exception..... Initial Load Operations To Get The Data: public void LoadAudits(Guid jobID) { var context = new InmZenDomainContext(); var imageLoadOperation = context.Load(context.GetImageByIDQuery(jobID)); imageLoadOperation.Completed += (sender3, e3) => { imageList = ((LoadOperation<InmZen.Web.Image>)sender3).Entities.ToList(); }; var auditLoadOperation = context.Load(context.GetAuditByJobIDQuery(jobID)); auditLoadOperation.Completed += (sender2, e2) => { auditList = ((LoadOperation<Audit>)sender2).Entities.ToList(); }; } I Then Want To Execute This Immediately: IEnumerable<JobImageAudit> jobImageAuditList = from a in auditList join ai in imageList on a.ImageID equals ai.ImageID select new JobImageAudit { JobID = a.JobID, ImageID = a.ImageID.Value, CreatedBy = a.CreatedBy, CreatedDate = a.CreatedDate, Comment = a.Comment, LowResUrl = ai.LowResUrl, }; auditTrailList.ItemsSource = jobImageAuditList; However I can't because the async calls haven't returned with the data yet... Thus I have to do this (Perform the Load Operations, Then Press A Button On The Child Window To Execute The List Concatenation and binding): private void LoadAuditsButton_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { IEnumerable<JobImageAudit> jobImageAuditList = from a in auditList join ai in imageList on a.ImageID equals ai.ImageID select new JobImageAudit { JobID = a.JobID, ImageID = a.ImageID.Value, CreatedBy = a.CreatedBy, CreatedDate = a.CreatedDate, Comment = a.Comment, LowResUrl = ai.LowResUrl, }; auditTrailList.ItemsSource = jobImageAuditList; } Potential Ideas for Solutions: Delay the child window displaying somehow? Potentially use DomainDataSource and the Activity Load control?! Any thoughts, help, solutions, samples comments etc. greatly appreciated.

  • Unwanted SDL_QUIT Event on mouseclick.

    - by Anthony Clever
    I'm having a slight problem with my SDL/Opengl code, specifically, when i try to do something on a mousebuttondown event, the program sends an sdl_quit event to the stack, closing my application. I know this because I can make the program work (sans the ability to quit out of it :| ) by checking for SDL_QUIT during my event loop, and making it do nothing, rather than quitting the application. If anyone could help make my program work, while retaining the ability to, well, close it, it'd be much appreciated. Code attached below: #include "SDL/SDL.h" #include "SDL/SDL_opengl.h" void draw_polygon(); void init(); int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { SDL_Event Event; int quit = 0; GLfloat color[] = { 0.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f }; init(); glColor3fv (color); glOrtho(0.0, 1.0, 0.0, 1.0, -1.0, 1.0); draw_polygon(); while(!quit) { while(SDL_PollEvent( &Event )) { switch(Event.type) { case SDL_MOUSEBUTTONDOWN: for (int i = 0; i <= sizeof(color); i++) { color[i] += 0.1f; } glColor3fv ( color ); draw_polygon(); case SDL_KEYDOWN: switch(Event.key.keysym.sym) { case SDLK_ESCAPE: quit = 1; default: break; } default: break; } } } SDL_Quit(); return 0; } void draw_polygon() { glBegin(GL_POLYGON); glVertex3f (0.25, 0.25, 0.0); glVertex3f (0.75, 0.25, 0.0); glVertex3f (0.75, 0.75, 0.0); glVertex3f (0.25, 0.75, 0.0); glEnd(); SDL_GL_SwapBuffers(); } void init() { SDL_Init(SDL_INIT_EVERYTHING); SDL_SetVideoMode( 640, 480, 32, SDL_OPENGL ); glClearColor (0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); glMatrixMode( GL_PROJECTION | GL_MODELVIEW ); glLoadIdentity(); glClear (GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT); SDL_WM_SetCaption( "OpenGL Test", NULL ); } If it matters in this case, I'm compiling via the included compiler with Visual C++ 2008 express.

  • System.Data.SQLite parameter issue

    - by CasperT
    I have the following code: try { //Create connection SQLiteConnection conn = DBConnection.OpenDB(); //Verify user input, normally you give dbType a size, but Text is an exception var uNavnParam = new SQLiteParameter("@uNavnParam", SqlDbType.Text) { Value = uNavn }; var bNavnParam = new SQLiteParameter("@bNavnParam", SqlDbType.Text) { Value = bNavn }; var passwdParam = new SQLiteParameter("@passwdParam", SqlDbType.Text) {Value = passwd}; var pc_idParam = new SQLiteParameter("@pc_idParam", SqlDbType.TinyInt) { Value = pc_id }; var noterParam = new SQLiteParameter("@noterParam", SqlDbType.Text) { Value = noter }; var licens_idParam = new SQLiteParameter("@licens_idParam", SqlDbType.TinyInt) { Value = licens_id }; var insertSQL = new SQLiteCommand("INSERT INTO Brugere (navn, brugernavn, password, pc_id, noter, licens_id)" + "VALUES ('@uNameParam', '@bNavnParam', '@passwdParam', '@pc_idParam', '@noterParam', '@licens_idParam')", conn); insertSQL.Parameters.Add(uNavnParam); //replace paramenter with verified userinput insertSQL.Parameters.Add(bNavnParam); insertSQL.Parameters.Add(passwdParam); insertSQL.Parameters.Add(pc_idParam); insertSQL.Parameters.Add(noterParam); insertSQL.Parameters.Add(licens_idParam); insertSQL.ExecuteNonQuery(); //Execute query //Close connection DBConnection.CloseDB(conn); //Let the user know that it was changed succesfully this.Text = "Succes! Changed!"; } catch(SQLiteException e) { //Catch error MessageBox.Show(e.ToString(), "ALARM"); } It executes perfectly, but when I view my "brugere" table, it has inserted the values: '@uNameParam', '@bNavnParam', '@passwdParam', '@pc_idParam', '@noterParam', '@licens_idParam' literally. Instead of replacing them. I have tried making a breakpoint and checked the parameters, they do have the correct assigned values. So that is not the issue either. I have been tinkering with this a lot now, with no luck, can anyone help? Oh and for reference, here is the OpenDB method from the DBConnection class: public static SQLiteConnection OpenDB() { try { //Gets connectionstring from app.config const string myConnectString = "data source=data;"; var conn = new SQLiteConnection(myConnectString); conn.Open(); return conn; } catch (SQLiteException e) { MessageBox.Show(e.ToString(), "ALARM"); return null; } }

  • Reading a POP3 server with only TcpClient and StreamWriter/StreamReader[SOLVED]

    - by WebDevHobo
    I'm trying to read mails from my live.com account, via the POP3 protocol. I've found the the server is pop3.live.com and the port if 995. I'm not planning on using a pre-made library, I'm using NetworkStream and StreamReader/StreamWriter for the job. I need to figure this out. So, any of the answers given here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/44383/reading-email-using-pop3-in-c are not usefull. It's part of a larger program, but I made a small test to see if it works. Eitherway, i'm not getting anything. Here's the code I'm using, which I think should be correct. EDIT: this code is old, please refer to the second block problem solved. public Program() { string temp = ""; using(TcpClient tc = new TcpClient(new IPEndPoint(IPAddress.Parse("127.0.0.1"),8000))) { tc.Connect("pop3.live.com",995); using(NetworkStream nws = tc.GetStream()) { using(StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(nws)) { using(StreamWriter sw = new StreamWriter(nws)) { sw.WriteLine("USER " + user); sw.Flush(); sw.WriteLine("PASS " + pass); sw.Flush(); sw.WriteLine("LIST"); sw.Flush(); while(temp != ".") { temp += sr.ReadLine(); } } } } } Console.WriteLine(temp); } Visual Studio debugger constantly falls over tc.Connect("pop3.live.com",995); Which throws an "A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network 65.55.172.253:995" error. So, I'm sending from port 8000 on my machine to port 995, the hotmail pop3 port. And I'm getting nothing, and I'm out of ideas. Second block: Problem was apparently that I didn't write the quit command. The Code: public Program() { string str = string.Empty; string strTemp = string.Empty; using(TcpClient tc = new TcpClient()) { tc.Connect("pop3.live.com",995); using(SslStream sl = new SslStream(tc.GetStream())) { sl.AuthenticateAsClient("pop3.live.com"); using(StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(sl)) { using(StreamWriter sw = new StreamWriter(sl)) { sw.WriteLine("USER " + user); sw.Flush(); sw.WriteLine("PASS " + pass); sw.Flush(); sw.WriteLine("LIST"); sw.Flush(); sw.WriteLine("QUIT "); sw.Flush(); while((strTemp = sr.ReadLine()) != null) { if(strTemp == "." || strTemp.IndexOf("-ERR") != -1) { break; } str += strTemp; } } } } } Console.WriteLine(str); }

  • Remove namespace declarations from web service response

    - by Fernando
    I have a web service that returns a simple object: [System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute("System.Xml", "2.0.50727.4927")] [System.SerializableAttribute()] [System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThroughAttribute()] [System.ComponentModel.DesignerCategoryAttribute("code")] [System.Xml.Serialization.SoapTypeAttribute(Namespace="urn:CHAMADO")] public partial class STRUCCHAMADOOUT : object, System.ComponentModel.INotifyPropertyChanged { private string cODField; private string mSGField; /// <remarks/> public string COD { get { return this.cODField; } set { this.cODField = value; this.RaisePropertyChanged("COD"); } } /// <remarks/> public string MSG { get { return this.mSGField; } set { this.mSGField = value; this.RaisePropertyChanged("MSG"); } } public event System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventHandler PropertyChanged; protected void RaisePropertyChanged(string propertyName) { System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventHandler propertyChanged = this.PropertyChanged; if ((propertyChanged != null)) { propertyChanged(this, new System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventArgs(propertyName)); } } } this class was generated by wsdl.exe, based on a wsdl file provided by the client. This is the web method: [WebMethod(MessageName="CHAMADORequest")] [SoapRpcMethod( Action = "urn:CHAMADO#CHAMADO", RequestNamespace = "urn:CHAMADO", RequestElementName = "CHAMADO", ResponseNamespace = "", ResponseElementName = "return", Use = SoapBindingUse.Literal )] [return: XmlElement("return")] public STRUCCHAMADOOUT CHAMADO(STRUCCHAMADOIN ENTRADA) { STRUCCHAMADOOUT result = new STRUCCHAMADOOUT(); try { string str = Util.GetRequestXML(); persist(getResult<Entidades.Chamado>(str, "ENTRADA", string.Empty)); result.COD = "1"; result.MSG = "Operação realizada com sucesso"; } catch (Exception ex) { result.COD = "0"; result.MSG = ex.Message + Environment.NewLine + ex.StackTrace; } return result; } The client is saying that his system is raising an error because the service response has namespaces declaration, just like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> <CHAMADOResponse xmlns="urn:CHAMADO" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <return xmlns=""> <COD xmlns="urn:CHAMADO">1</COD> <MSG xmlns="urn:CHAMADO">Operação realizada com sucesso</MSG> </return> </CHAMADOResponse> Now, I managed to remove the namespaces from COD and MSG by applying the attriute WebServiceBinding(ConformsTo = WsiProfiles.None) to the service's class and setting ResponseNamespace to an empty string. But CHAMADOResponse still have the namespaces declaration. I'm pretty sure that it should not be done like that. In fact, I don't believe that the namespaces are the problem at all. This project has been hard since the begining, as we had to create services that matched legacy wsdl. My question is: is there a way that I could remove all that namespaces declaration from the web service response?

  • When constructing a Bitmap with Bitmap.FromHbitmap(), how soon can the original bitmap handle be del

    - by GBegen
    From the documentation of Image.FromHbitmap() at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/k061we7x%28VS.80%29.aspx : The FromHbitmap method makes a copy of the GDI bitmap; so you can release the incoming GDI bitmap using the GDIDeleteObject method immediately after creating the new Image. This pretty explicitly states that the bitmap handle can be immediately deleted with DeleteObject as soon as the Bitmap instance is created. Looking at the implementation of Image.FromHbitmap() with Reflector, however, shows that it is a pretty thin wrapper around the GDI+ function, GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP(). There is pretty scant documentation on the GDI+ flat functions, but http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms533971%28VS.85%29.aspx says that GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP() corresponds to the Bitmap::Bitmap() constructor that takes an HBITMAP and an HPALETTE as parameters. The documentation for this version of the Bitmap::Bitmap() constructor at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms536314%28VS.85%29.aspx has this to say: You are responsible for deleting the GDI bitmap and the GDI palette. However, you should not delete the GDI bitmap or the GDI palette until after the GDI+ Bitmap::Bitmap object is deleted or goes out of scope. Do not pass to the GDI+ Bitmap::Bitmap constructor a GDI bitmap or a GDI palette that is currently (or was previously) selected into a device context. Furthermore, one can see the source code for the C++ portion of GDI+ in GdiPlusBitmap.h that the Bitmap::Bitmap() constructor in question is itself a wrapper for the GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP() function from the flat API: inline Bitmap::Bitmap( IN HBITMAP hbm, IN HPALETTE hpal ) { GpBitmap *bitmap = NULL; lastResult = DllExports::GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP(hbm, hpal, &bitmap); SetNativeImage(bitmap); } What I can't easily see is the implementation of GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP() that is the core of this functionality, but the two remarks in the documentation seem to be contradictory. The .Net documentation says I can delete the bitmap handle immediately, and the GDI+ documentation says the bitmap handle must be kept until the wrapping object is deleted, but both are based on the same GDI+ function. Furthermore, the GDI+ documentation warns against using a source HBITMAP that is currently or previously selected into a device context. While I can understand why the bitmap should not be selected into a device context currently, I do not understand why there is a warning against using a bitmap that was previously selected into a device context. That would seem to prevent use of GDI+ bitmaps that had been created in memory using standard GDI. So, in summary: Does the original bitmap handle need to be kept around until the .Net Bitmap object is disposed? Does the GDI+ function, GdipCreateBitmapFromHBITMAP(), make a copy of the source bitmap or merely hold onto the handle to the original? Why should I not use an HBITMAP that was previously selected into a device context?

My code is NSString *soapMessage = [NSString stringWithFormat: @"<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>\n" "<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:xsi= \"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:SOAP-ENC=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/\" xmlns:SOAP-ENV=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\" xmlns:xsd=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema\" SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/\">\n" "<SOAP-ENV:Header>\n" "<RequesterCredentials xmlns=\"urn:ebay:api:PayPalAPI\">\n" "<Credentials xmlns=\"urn:ebay:apis:eBLBaseComponents\">\n" "<Username>api_username</Username>\n" "<Password>api_password</Password>\n" "<Signature/>\n" "<Subject/>\n" "</Credentials>\n" "</RequesterCredentials>\n" "</SOAP-ENV:Header>\n" "<SOAP-ENV:Body>\n" "<specific_api_name_Req xmlns=\"urn:ebay:api:PayPalAPI\">\n" "<specific_api_name_Request>\n" "<Version xmlns=urn:ebay:apis:eBLBaseComponents”>service_version</Version>\n" "<required_or_optional_fields xsi:type=”some_type_here”>\n" "</required_or_optional_fields>\n" "</specific_api_name_Request>\n" "</specific_api_name_Req>\n" "</SOAP-ENV:Body>\n" "</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>\n"]; NSLog(@"Soap message===%@",soapMessage); NSString *parameterString = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"USER=%@&PWD=%@&SIGNATURE=%@&VERSION=57.0&METHOD=SetMobileCheckout&AMT=%.2f&CURRENCYCODE=USD&DESC=%@&RETURNURL=%@", userName, password, signature, donationAmount, @"Some Charge", returnCallURL]; NSLog(parameterString); NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:paypalUrlNVP]; NSMutableURLRequest *theRequest = [NSMutableURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; NSString *msgLength = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d", [parameterString length]]; [theRequest addValue: msgLength forHTTPHeaderField:@"Content-Length"]; [theRequest setHTTPMethod:@"POST"]; [theRequest setHTTPBody: [parameterString dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSURLConnection *theConnection = [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:theRequest delegate:self]; if( theConnection ){ webData = [[NSMutableData data] retain]; // [self displayConnectingView]; }else{ NSLog(@"theConnection is NULL"); } But here I am not getting the value of paypalUrlNVP. How can i get it?? And if possible then please give some example of paypalAPI integration in iphone. I also want to use checkout functionality.I am new in this field so I have no idea about it. So, kindly give me whole sample code. Thanks in advance.

  • subsonic.migrations and Oracle XE

    - by andrecarlucci
    Hello, Probably I'm doing something wrong but here it goes: I'm trying to create a database using subsonic.migrations in an OracleXE version 10.2.0.1.0. I have ODP v 10.2.0.2.20 installed. This is my app.config: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <configSections> <section name="SubSonicService" type="SubSonic.SubSonicSection, SubSonic" requirePermission="false"/> </configSections> <connectionStrings> <add name="test" connectionString="Data Source=XE; User Id=test; Password=test;"/> </connectionStrings> <SubSonicService defaultProvider="test"> <providers> <clear/> <add name="test" type="SubSonic.OracleDataProvider, SubSonic" connectionStringName="test" generatedNamespace="testdb"/> </providers> </SubSonicService> </configuration> And that's my first migration: public class Migration001_Init : Migration { public override void Up() { //Create the records table TableSchema.Table records = CreateTable("asdf"); records.AddColumn("RecordName"); } public override void Down() { DropTable("asdf"); } } When I run the sonic.exe, I get this exception: Setting ConfigPath: 'App.config' Building configuration from D:\Users\carlucci\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\Wum\Wum.Migration\App.config Adding connection to test ERROR: Trying to execute migrate Error Message: System.Data.OracleClient.OracleException: ORA-02253: especifica‡Æo de restri‡Æo nÆo permitida aqui at System.Data.OracleClient.OracleConnection.CheckError(OciErrorHandle errorHandle, Int32 rc) at System.Data.OracleClient.OracleCommand.Execute(OciStatementHandle statementHandle, CommandBehavior behavior, Boolean needRowid, OciRowidDescriptor& rowidDescriptor, ArrayList& resultParameterOrdinals) at System.Data.OracleClient.OracleCommand.ExecuteNonQueryInternal(Boolean needRowid, OciRowidDescriptor& rowidDescriptor) at System.Data.OracleClient.OracleCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at SubSonic.OracleDataProvider.ExecuteQuery(QueryCommand qry) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubSonic\DataProviders\OracleDataProvider.cs:line 350 at SubSonic.DataService.ExecuteQuery(QueryCommand cmd) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubSonic\DataProviders\DataService.cs:line 544 at SubSonic.Migrations.Migrator.CreateSchemaInfo(String providerName) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubSonic.Migrations\Migrator.cs:line 249 at SubSonic.Migrations.Migrator.GetCurrentVersion(String providerName) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubSonic.Migrations\Migrator.cs:line 232 at SubSonic.Migrations.Migrator.Migrate(String providerName, String migrationDirectory, Nullable`1 toVersion) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubSonic.Migrations\Migrator.cs:line 50 at SubSonic.SubCommander.Program.Migrate() in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubCommander\Program.cs:line 264 at SubSonic.SubCommander.Program.Main(String[] args) in D:\@SubSonic\SubSonic\SubCommander\Program.cs:line 90 Execution Time: 379ms What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot for any help :) Andre Carlucci UPDATE: As pointed by Anton, the problem is the subsonic OracleSqlGenerator. It is trying to create the schema table using this sql: CREATE TABLE SubSonicSchemaInfo ( version int NOT NULL CONSTRAINT DF_SubSonicSchemaInfo_version DEFAULT (0) ) Which doesn't work on oracle. The correct sql would be: CREATE TABLE SubSonicSchemaInfo ( version int DEFAULT (0), constraint DF_SubSonicSchemaInfo_version primary key (version) ) The funny thing is that since this is the very first sql executed by subsonic migrations, NOBODY EVER TESTED it on oracle.

  • Android - Key Dispatching Timed Out

    In my Android application I am getting a very strange crash, when I press a button (Image) on my UI the entire application freezes and after a couple of seconds I getthe dreaded force close dialog appearing. It seems unlikely as several other buttons do the same without issue. How about the native layer? Could some code I've built with the NDK be causing the issue? Any other ideas as to what the cause of the issue might be?

  • OpenGL ES 2.0 FBO creation goes wrong with unknown error

    - by Nick
    Hey guys, I've been struggling with this for a while now, and this code crashes with, to me, unknown reasons. I'm creating an FBO, binding a texture, and then the very first glDrawArrays() crashes with a "EXC_BAD_ACCESS" on my iPhone Simulator. Here's the code I use to create the FBO (and bind texture and...) glGenFramebuffers(1, &lastFrameBuffer); glGenRenderbuffers(1, &lastFrameDepthBuffer); glGenTextures(1, &lastFrameTexture); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE1, lastFrameTexture); glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL_RGB, 768, 1029, 0, GL_RGBA, GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT_5_6_5, NULL); glTexParameterf(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S, GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE); glTexParameterf(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_T, GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE); glTexParameterf(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); glTexParameterf(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_LINEAR); //Bind/alloc depthbuf glBindRenderbuffer(GL_RENDERBUFFER, lastFrameDepthBuffer); glRenderbufferStorage(GL_RENDERBUFFER, GL_DEPTH_COMPONENT16, 768, 1029); glBindFramebuffer(GL_FRAMEBUFFER, lastFrameBuffer); //binding the texture to the FBO :D glFramebufferTexture2D(GL_FRAMEBUFFER, GL_COLOR_ATTACHMENT0, GL_TEXTURE_2D, lastFrameTexture, 0); // attach the renderbuffer to depth attachment point glFramebufferRenderbuffer(GL_FRAMEBUFFER, GL_DEPTH_ATTACHMENT, GL_RENDERBUFFER, lastFrameDepthBuffer); [self checkFramebufferStatus]; As you can see this takes part in an object, checkFrameBufferStatus looks like this: GLenum status = glCheckFramebufferStatus(GL_FRAMEBUFFER); switch(status) { case GL_FRAMEBUFFER_COMPLETE: JNLogString(@"Framebuffer complete."); return TRUE; case GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_ATTACHMENT: JNLogString(@"[ERROR] Framebuffer incomplete: Attachment is NOT complete."); return false; case GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_MISSING_ATTACHMENT: JNLogString(@"[ERROR] Framebuffer incomplete: No image is attached to FBO."); return false; case GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_DIMENSIONS: JNLogString(@"[ERROR] Framebuffer incomplete: Attached images have different dimensions."); return false; case GL_FRAMEBUFFER_UNSUPPORTED: JNLogString(@"[ERROR] Unsupported by FBO implementation."); return false; default: JNLogString(@"[ERROR] Unknown error."); return false; JNLogString is just an NSLog, and in this case it gives me: 2010-04-03 02:46:54.854 Bubbleeh[6634:207] ES2Renderer.m:372 [ERROR] Unknown error. When I call it right there. So, it crashes, and diagnostic tells me there's an unknown error and I'm kinda stuck. I basically copied the code from the OpenGL ES 2.0 Programming Guide... What am I doing wrong? Thanks in Advance,

  • How do I backup and restore the system clipboard in C#?

    - by gtaborga
    Hey everyone, I will do my best to explain in detail what I'm trying to achieve. I'm using C# with IntPtr window handles to perform a CTRL-C copy operation on an external application from my own C# application. I had to do this because there was no way of accessing the text directly using GET_TEXT. I'm then using the text content of that copy within my application. The problem here is that I have now overwritten the clipboard. What I would like to be able to do is: Backup the original contents of the clipboard which could have been set by any application other than my own. Then perform the copy and store the value into my application. Then restore the original contents of the clipboard so that the user still has access to his/her original clipboard data. This is the code I have tried so far: private void GetClipboardText() { text = ""; IDataObject backupClipboad = Clipboard.GetDataObject(); KeyboardInput input = new KeyboardInput(this); input.Copy(dialogHandle); // Performs a CTRL-C (copy) operation IDataObject clipboard = Clipboard.GetDataObject(); if (clipboard.GetDataPresent(DataFormats.Text)) { // Retrieves the text from the clipboard text = clipboard.GetData(DataFormats.Text) as string; } if (backupClipboad != null) { Clipboard.SetDataObject(backupClipboad, true); // throws exception } } I am using the System.Windows.Clipboard and not the System.Windows.Forms.Clipboard. The reason for this was that when I performed the CTRL-C, the Clipboard class from System.Windows.Forms did not return any data, but the system clipboard did. I looked into some of the low level user32 calls like OpenClipboard, EmptyClipboard, and CloseClipboard hoping that they would help my do this but so far I keep getting COM exceptions when trying to restore. I thought perhaps this had to do with the OpenClipboard parameter which is expecting an IntPtr window handle of the application which wants to take control of the clipboard. Since I mentioned that my application does not have a GUI this is a challenge. I wasn't sure what to pass here. Maybe someone can shed some light on that? Am I using the Clipboard class incorrectly? Is there a clear way to obtain the IntPtr window handle of an application with no GUI? Does anyone know of a better way to backup and restore the system clipboard?

  • SSLException: Keystore does not support enabled cipher suites

    - by wurfkeks
    I want to implement a small android application, that works as SSL Server. After lot of problems with the right format of the keystore, I solved this and run into the next one. My keystore file is properly loaded by the KeyStore class. But when I try to open the server socket (socket.accept()) the following error is raised: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Could not find any key store entries to support the enabled cipher suites. I generated my keystore with this command: keytool -genkey -keystore test.keystore -keyalg RSA -keypass ssltest -storepass ssltest -storetype BKS -provider org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider -providerpath bcprov.jar with the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy for Java SE6 applied to my jre6. I got a list of supported ciphers suites by calling socket.getSupportedCipherSuites() that prints a long list with very different combinations. But I don't know how to get a supported key. I also tried the android debug keystore after converting it to BKS format using portecle but get still the same error. Can anyone help and tell how I can generate a key that is compatible with one of the cipher suites? Version Information: targetSDK: 15 tested on emulator running 4.0.3 and real device running 2.3.3 BounceCastle 1.46 portecle 1.7 Code of my test application: public class SSLTestActivity extends Activity implements Runnable { SSLServerSocket mServerSocket; ToggleButton tglBtn; /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); this.tglBtn = (ToggleButton)findViewById(R.id.toggleButton1); tglBtn.setOnCheckedChangeListener(new CompoundButton.OnCheckedChangeListener() { @Override public void onCheckedChanged(CompoundButton buttonView, boolean isChecked) { if (isChecked) { new Thread(SSLTestActivity.this).run(); } else { try { if (mServerSocket != null) mServerSocket.close(); } catch (IOException e) { Log.e("SSLTestActivity", e.toString()); } } } }); } @Override public void run() { try { KeyStore keyStore = KeyStore.getInstance(KeyStore.getDefaultType()); keyStore.load(getAssets().open("test.keystore"), "ssltest".toCharArray()); ServerSocketFactory socketFactory = SSLServerSocketFactory.getDefault(); mServerSocket = (SSLServerSocket) socketFactory.createServerSocket(8080); while (!mServerSocket.isClosed()) { Socket client = mServerSocket.accept(); PrintWriter output = new PrintWriter(client.getOutputStream(), true); output.println("So long, and thanks for all the fish!"); client.close(); } } catch (Exception e) { Log.e("SSLTestActivity", e.toString()); } } }

  • OSGI & Apache Commons-DBCP Classloading Issue

    - by Saul
    I inherited some code that is using the Apache commons-dbcp Connection pools in an OSGi bundle. This code works fine with Eclipse/Equinox OSGi version 3.4.3 (R34x_v20081215), commons-dbcp 1.2.2 and the postgres jdbc3 8.3.603 bundles from springsource.org. I wanted to modernize, maybe this was my first mistake! When I use the new version of Felix or Equinox OSGI Cores with the new postgresql JDBC3 or JDBC4 bundles along with the latest version of commons-dbcp (1.4.1), I am getting a classloading issue. I have done numerous searches and found that the commons-dbcp code should have a fix DBCP-214, but it still seems to fail. I have tried to put the org.postgresql on the commons-dbcp MANIFEST.MF import-package line, but that did not work either. I wrote a simple test in an activator that first does a basic class.forName() and DriverManager.getConnection(), this works fine, but when I add in BasicDataSource() and setup the connection with BasicDataSource.getConnection(), I get the ClassNotFoundException. See the code example below. Thanks in Advance for any help, suggestions, ... Sau! // This one fails with an exception public void dsTest() { BasicDataSource bds = new BasicDataSource(); ClassLoader cl; try { logger.debug("ContextClassLoader: {}", Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().toString()); cl = this.getClass().getClassLoader(); logger.debug("ClassLoader: {}", cl); if (bds.getDriverClassLoader() != null) { logger.debug(bds.getDriverClassLoader().toString()); } // The failure is the same with and with the setDriverClassLoader() line bds.setDriverClassLoader(cl); bds.setDriverClassName("org.postgresql.Driver"); bds.setUrl("jdbc:postgresql://127.0.0.1/dbname"); bds.setUsername("user"); bds.setPassword("pword"); Class.forName("org.postgresql.Driver").newInstance(); conn = bds.getConnection(); Statement st = conn.createStatement(); ResultSet rs = st.executeQuery("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table"); conn.close(); logger.debug("Closed DataSource Test"); } catch (Exception ex) { ex.printStackTrace(); logger.debug("Exception: {} ", ex.getMessage()); } } // This one works public void managerTest() { ClassLoader cl; try { cl = this.getClass().getClassLoader(); logger.debug("ClassLoader: {}", cl); Class.forName("org.postgresql.Driver").newInstance(); String url = "jdbc:postgresql://127.0.0.1/dbname"; conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url, "user", "pword"); Statement st = conn.createStatement(); ResultSet rs = st.executeQuery("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table"); conn.close(); logger.debug("Closed Manger Test"); } catch (Exception ex) { ex.printStackTrace(); logger.debug("Exception: {} ", ex.getMessage()); } }

  • Android: manifest targetSdkVersion change resulted in: icon not visible, widget no longer works, and

    - by Casey
    I recently upgraded my Android app to support multiple resolutions. Previously, my Android.manifest file had a line: To support multiple density and resolution devices, I changed this to: <supports-screens android:smallScreens="false" android:normalScreens="true" android:largeScreens="true" android:anyDensity="true" /> <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="3" android:targetSdkVersion="4" /> I then added a couple of new directories, like drawable-hdpi-v4 and drawable-long-hdpi-v4 that includes the high-res versions of the graphics. That's about it. Ever since releasing this update, there have been a decent number of users complaining about various problems: - the app icon doesn't appear (I did not create a high res version of the icon) - the home screen widget no longer works, even if they delete and re-add it (this code did not change with the update). I've had a user send me their error log, which shows: 03-19 20:59:41.617 W/ActivityManager( 1854): Unable to launch app com.alt12.babybump/10078 for broadcast Intent { action=android.appwidget.action.APPWIDGET_UPDATE flags=0x4 comp={com.alt12.babybump/com.alt12.babybump.WidgetGirl} (has extras) }: process is bad There is one questionable section in my existing widget code that may be relevant: @Override public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) { // v1.5 fix that doesn't call onDelete Action final String action = intent.getAction(); if (AppWidgetManager.ACTION_APPWIDGET_DELETED.equals(action)) { final int appWidgetId = intent.getExtras().getInt( AppWidgetManager.EXTRA_APPWIDGET_ID, AppWidgetManager.INVALID_APPWIDGET_ID); if (appWidgetId != AppWidgetManager.INVALID_APPWIDGET_ID) { this.onDeleted(context, new int[] { appWidgetId }); } } else { super.onReceive(context, intent); } } And perhaps most troublesome: the sqlite database is no longer accessible/writeable for some users so their data is no longer available. I did add the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission to the manifest. This is only happening to certain users and it tends to be HTC Eris users. In that error log I see things such as: 03-19 16:00:56.173 E/FlurryAgent( 4791): java.io.FileNotFoundException: /data/data/com.alt12.babybump/files/.flurryagent.-2333f5cb 03-19 16:00:56.173 E/FlurryAgent( 4791): at org.apache.harmony.luni.platform.OSFileSystem.open(OSFileSystem.java:231) 03-19 16:01:09.393 E/Database( 4791): sqlite3_open_v2("/data/data/com.alt12.babybump/databases/uitematmamad.db", &handle, 6, NULL) failed 03-19 16:01:09.393 W/System.err( 4791): android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file It's as if the update has caused a new process and it can't access the old process's data, or something. This may be old news but back in March 2009, Shawn Wildermuth, his article, “Model-View-ViewModel In Silverlight 2 Apps,” has a code sample that includes DataServiceEntityBase: // COPIED FROM SILVERLIGHTCONTRIB Project for simplicity /// <summary> /// Base class for DataService Data Contract classes to implement /// base functionality that is needed like INotifyPropertyChanged. /// Add the base class in the partial class to add the implementation. /// </summary> public abstract class DataServiceEntityBase : INotifyPropertyChanged { /// <summary> /// The handler for the registrants of the interface's event /// </summary> PropertyChangedEventHandler _propertyChangedHandler; /// <summary> /// Allow inheritors to fire the event more simply. /// </summary> /// <param name="propertyName"></param> protected void FirePropertyChanged(string propertyName) { if (_propertyChangedHandler != null) { _propertyChangedHandler(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs(propertyName)); } } #region INotifyPropertyChanged Members /// <summary> /// The interface used to notify changes on the entity. /// </summary> event PropertyChangedEventHandler INotifyPropertyChanged.PropertyChanged { add { _propertyChangedHandler += value; } remove { _propertyChangedHandler -= value; } } #endregion What this class implies is that the developer intends to bind visuals directly to data (yes, a ViewModel is used but it defines an ObservableCollection of data objects). Is this design diverging too far from the guidance of MVVM? Now I can see some of the reasons why Shawn would go this way: what Shawn can do with DataServiceEntityBase is this sort of thing (which is intimate with the Entity Framework): // Partial Method to support the INotifyPropertyChanged interface public partial class Game : DataServiceEntityBase { #region Partial Method INotifyPropertyChanged Implementation // Override the Changed partial methods to implement the // INotifyPropertyChanged interface // This helps with the Model implementation to be a mostly // DataBound implementation partial void OnDeveloperChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("Developer"); } partial void OnGenreChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("Genre"); } partial void OnListPriceChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ListPrice"); } partial void OnListPriceCurrencyChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ListPriceCurrency"); } partial void OnPlayerInfoChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("PlayerInfo"); } partial void OnProductDescriptionChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ProductDescription"); } partial void OnProductIDChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ProductID"); } partial void OnProductImageUrlChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ProductImageUrl"); } partial void OnProductNameChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ProductName"); } partial void OnProductTypeIDChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ProductTypeID"); } partial void OnPublisherChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("Publisher"); } partial void OnRatingChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("Rating"); } partial void OnRatingUrlChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("RatingUrl"); } partial void OnReleaseDateChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("ReleaseDate"); } partial void OnSystemNameChanged() { base.FirePropertyChanged("SystemName"); } #endregion } Of course MSDN code can seen as “toy code” for educational purposes but is anyone doing anything like this in the real world of Silverlight development?

  • Chaining IQueryables together

    - by Matt Greer
    I have a RIA Services based app that is using Entity Framework on the server side (possibly not relevant). In my real app, I can do something like this. EntityQuery<Status> query = statusContext.GetStatusesQuery().Where(s => s.Description.Contains("Foo")); Where statusContext is the client side subclass of DomainContext that RIA Services was kind enough to generate for me. The end result is an EntityQuery<Status> object who's Query property is an object that implements IQueryable and represents my where clause. The WebDomainClient is able to take this EntityQuery and not just give me back all of my Statuses but also filtered with my where clause. I am trying to implement this in a mock DomainClient. This MockDomainClient accepts an IQueryably<Entity> which it returns when asked for. But what if the user makes the query and includes the ad hoc additional query? How can I merge the two together? My MockDomainClient is (this is modeled after this blog post) ... public class MockDomainClient : LocalDomainClient { private IQueryable<Entity> _entities; public MockDomainClient(IQueryable<Entity> entities) { _entities = entities; } public override IQueryable<Entity> DoQuery(EntityQuery query) { if (query.Query == null) { return _entities; } // otherwise want the union of _entities and query.Query, query.Query is IQueryable // the below does not work and was a total shot in the dark: //return _entities.Union(query.Query.Cast<Entity>()); } } public abstract class LocalDomainClient : System.ServiceModel.DomainServices.Client.DomainClient { private SynchronizationContext _syncContext; protected LocalDomainClient() { _syncContext = SynchronizationContext.Current; } ... public abstract IQueryable<Entity> DoQuery(EntityQuery query); protected override IAsyncResult BeginQueryCore(EntityQuery query, AsyncCallback callback, object userState) { IQueryable<Entity> localQuery = DoQuery(query); LocalAsyncResult asyncResult = new LocalAsyncResult(callback, userState, localQuery); _syncContext.Post(o => (o as LocalAsyncResult).Complete(), asyncResult); return asyncResult; } ... }

  • Xuggle codec identification fail

    - by Thiago
    Hi there, I'm trying to run the following Xuggle code: public static boolean convert(String stream) throws IOException, InterruptedException { IMediaReader reader = ToolFactory.makeReader(stream + ".flv"); IMediaWriter writer = ToolFactory.makeWriter(stream + ".mp3", reader); reader.addListener(writer); while (reader.readPacket() != null) ; return true; } Where stream is the file path. But I'm getting the following exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: could not find input codec id at com.xuggle.xuggler.IContainerFormat.establishOutputCodecId(IContainerFormat.java:393) at com.xuggle.xuggler.IContainerFormat.establishOutputCodecId(IContainerFormat.java:327) at com.xuggle.xuggler.IContainerFormat.establishOutputCodecId(IContainerFormat.java:300) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaWriter.addStreamFromContainer(MediaWriter.java:1141) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaWriter.getStream(MediaWriter.java:1046) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaWriter.encodeAudio(MediaWriter.java:837) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaWriter.onAudioSamples(MediaWriter.java:1448) at com.xuggle.mediatool.AMediaToolMixin.onAudioSamples(AMediaToolMixin.java:89) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaReader.dispatchAudioSamples(MediaReader.java:628) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaReader.decodeAudio(MediaReader.java:555) at com.xuggle.mediatool.MediaReader.readPacket(MediaReader.java:469) at <package_name>MediaFile.convert(MediaFile.java:66) at <package_name>.MediaFileTest.shouldConvertExistingFLV(MediaFileTest.java:32) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at org.junit.runners.model.FrameworkMethod$1.runReflectiveCall(FrameworkMethod.java:44) at org.junit.internal.runners.model.ReflectiveCallable.run(ReflectiveCallable.java:15) at org.junit.runners.model.FrameworkMethod.invokeExplosively(FrameworkMethod.java:41) at org.junit.internal.runners.statements.InvokeMethod.evaluate(InvokeMethod.java:20) at org.junit.internal.runners.statements.RunBefores.evaluate(RunBefores.java:28) at org.junit.internal.runners.statements.RunAfters.evaluate(RunAfters.java:31) at org.junit.runners.BlockJUnit4ClassRunner.runChild(BlockJUnit4ClassRunner.java:73) at org.junit.runners.BlockJUnit4ClassRunner.runChild(BlockJUnit4ClassRunner.java:46) at org.junit.runners.ParentRunner.runChildren(ParentRunner.java:180) at org.junit.runners.ParentRunner.access$000(ParentRunner.java:41) at org.junit.runners.ParentRunner$1.evaluate(ParentRunner.java:173) at org.junit.internal.runners.statements.RunBefores.evaluate(RunBefores.java:28) at org.junit.internal.runners.statements.RunAfters.evaluate(RunAfters.java:31) at org.junit.runners.ParentRunner.run(ParentRunner.java:220) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit4.runner.JUnit4TestReference.run(JUnit4TestReference.java:46) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.TestExecution.run(TestExecution.java:38) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.runTests(RemoteTestRunner.java:467) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.runTests(RemoteTestRunner.java:683) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.run(RemoteTestRunner.java:390) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.main(RemoteTestRunner.java:197) The unit test is the following: @Test public void shouldConvertExistingFLV() throws IOException, InterruptedException { String str = "C:\Program Files\Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Media Server 2\content\Extremists"; //"c:/temp/corneta.flv" boolean result = MediaFile.convert(str); assertTrue(result); } So, why can't he find the codec, since I'm testing for a simple flv to mp3 conversion?

  • WCF: WSDL-first approach: Problems with generating fault types

    - by Juri
    Hi, I'm currently in the process of creating a WCF webservice which should be compatible with WS-I Basic Profile 1.1. I'm using a wsdl-first approach (actually for the first time), defining first the xsd for the complex types, the WSDL and then using svcutil.exe for generating the according server as well as client-side interfaces/proxies. So far everything works fine. Then I decided to add a fault to my WSDL. Regenerating with svcutil succeeded, but then I noticed that my generated fault doesn't have the properties I defined in my xsd file (which is imported by my WSDL). Fault XSD definition <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace="http://product.mycompany.com/groupsfault_v1.xsd" xmlns:tns="http://product.mycompany.com/groupsfault_v1.xsd"> <complexType name="groupsFault"> <sequence> <element name="code" type="int"/> <element name="message" type="string"/> </sequence> </complexType> </schema> Generated .Net fault object [System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThroughAttribute()] [System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute("System.Runtime.Serialization", "3.0.0.0")] [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSchemaProviderAttribute("ExportSchema")] [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlRootAttribute(IsNullable=false)] public partial class groupFault : object, System.Xml.Serialization.IXmlSerializable { private System.Xml.XmlNode[] nodesField; private static System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName typeName = new System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName("groupFault", "http://sicp.services.siag.it/groups_v1.wsdl"); public System.Xml.XmlNode[] Nodes { get { return this.nodesField; } set { this.nodesField = value; } } public void ReadXml(System.Xml.XmlReader reader) { this.nodesField = System.Runtime.Serialization.XmlSerializableServices.ReadNodes(reader); } public void WriteXml(System.Xml.XmlWriter writer) { System.Runtime.Serialization.XmlSerializableServices.WriteNodes(writer, this.Nodes); } public System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchema GetSchema() { return null; } public static System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName ExportSchema(System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaSet schemas) { System.Runtime.Serialization.XmlSerializableServices.AddDefaultSchema(schemas, typeName); return typeName; } } Is this ok?? I'd expect to have an object created that contains properties for "code" and "message" s.t. you can then throw it by using something like ... throw new FaultException<groupFault>(new groupFault { code=100, message="error" }); ... (sorry for the lower-case type definitions, but this is generated code from the WSDL) Why doesn't the svcutil.exe generate those properties?? Some sources on the web suggested to add the /useSerializerForFaults option. I tried it, it doesn't work giving me an exception that the fault type is missing on the wsdl:portType declaration. Validation with several other tools succeeded however. Any help is VERY appreciated :) thx

  • Messing with Encoding and XslCompiledTransform

    - by Josemalive
    Hello, im messing with the encodings. For one hand i have a url that is responding me in UTF-8 (im pretty sure thanks to firebug plugin). Im opening the url reading the content in UTF-8 using the following code: StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream(),System.Text.Encoding.UTF8); For other hand i have a transformation xslt sheet with the following code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl"> <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/> <xsl:template match="@* | node()"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@* | node()"/> <br/> hello </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> This xslt sheet is saved in UTF-8 format too. I use the following code to mix the xml with the xslt: StringWriter writer = new StringWriter(); XslCompiledTransform transformer = new XslCompiledTransform(); transformer.Load(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("xslt\\xsltsheet.xslt"); XmlWriterSettings xmlsettings = new XmlWriterSettings(); xmlsettings.Encoding = System.Text.Encoding.UTF8; transformer.Transform(xmlreader, null, writer); return writer; Then after all im render in the webbrowser the content of this writer and im getting the following error: The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported. Error processing resource 'http://localhost:2541/Results.... <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> Im wondering where is finding the UTF-16 encoding take in count that: All my files are saved as UTF-8 The response from the server is in UTF-8 The way of read the xslt sheet is configured as UTF-8. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Best Regards. Jose.

  • Have Button re-appear immediately after clicking button in ListView row

    - by Soeren
    I have 4 buttons on a page. Each button opens a modal window and let’s the user input data in a form. When the user hits the save button in the modal, a ListView appears on the page with the submitted data. The button the user clicked to open the modal window is set to visible=false, so it’s gone when the row is added to the ListView. Now there are 3 buttons and the same goes for those; when the user hits a button, a modal appears, and when the modal form is submitted, the button disappears and a row is added to the ListView. In the ListView row, there is a delete button. When this button is clicked, the row is deleted and the button that was initially clicked to add this row (and open the modal), SHOULD reappear, but it doesn’t. The row disappears, but I have to refresh the page before the button comes back. There is a ScriptManager on the masterpage, so I guess this is an AJAX partial refresh issue. I tried adding different events, but I can’t find the one that fires at the right time. I use an ObjectDataSource to fill the ListView, and the data comes from a database, wrapped in a business object. This code loads a business object in a List< and checks if the user inserted an item of a specific type. If he did, the button he used to open the modal is hidden. This works fine (maybe not the most elegant) _goals = GoalManager.GetGoalsByUser(UserID); if (_goals != null) { foreach (Goal _goalinlist in _goals) { if (_goalinlist.GoalType == 1) { Button1.Visible = false; goalid1 = true; } if (_goalinlist.GoalType == 2) { Button2.Visible = false; goalid2 = true; } if (_goalinlist.GoalType == 3) { Button3.Visible = false; goalid3 = true; } if (_goalinlist.GoalType == 4) { Button4.Visible = false; goalid4 = true; } } } As you can see, I tried setting a boolean, and then check it when the page is re-loaded. But the problem (I guess) is that the whole page isn't refreshed when the delete button is clicked in the ListView. This is the delete button in the ListView: <asp:ImageButton ID="ImageButton2" runat="server" CommandName="Delete" CausesValidation="false" ToolTip="Delete" CommandArgument='<%#Eval("GoalID")%>' ImageUrl="delete.gif" OnClientClick="return confirm('Delete this post?');" CssClass="button"/> I guess the question is, how do I make the button re-appear right after the ListView button is clicked?
