• Relative slowness of SVN compared to perforce when showing revision logs

  I have used Perforce previously and in current project we are using SVN. I noticed that it is very slow seeing revision logs and to see its comparisons in SVN relative to Perforce. Is it because Perforce is a commercial solution or is it something with my SVN client(Smart SVN)?

  Im using linq-sql .I have 3 tables. e.g Project, People and a ProjectsPeople(fk's ProjectID and PeopleID) (junction) Table. given a set of peopleIDArray (an array of ints as people ID's) how can i get only Projects that have atleast one of the peopleId's associated with them? i.e there will be atleast one (may be more) record in the ProjectsPeople table that will have a ProjectId and an id from the peopleIDArray ) thanks

  The "Build and analyze" option doesn't seem to work for .cpp and .mm files. I tried "clang --analyze" on individual files without any standard #includes and it works well. However I'm not able to run it on my Xcode project. I couldn't figure out a way to make clang find the standard #includes like even UIKit.h. Any clues?

  Hi! Got the following warning output when using GCC 4.5.0 & MinGW. Warning: .drectve `-aligncomm:___CTOR_LIST__,2 ' unrecognized Warning: .drectve `-aligncomm:___DTOR_LIST__,2' unrecognized What does it mean? I guess it's version-specific, because GCC 4.3.4 under cygwin didn't give that warning on the same project. • Adding images to a JAR file in Eclipse?

  I'm trying to make a game in java, but I'm a bit of a newb. The game has images, and when I run the application from eclipse, they all show up fine. But when I export the project as an application, the images don't show up. When I put the application in the same folder as the images, they show up when I run the application, so someone suggested that I just need to put the image files inside my JAR. Can someone tell me how? Thank you

• drag drop no longer working once application gets installed.

  I have an application that has drag and drop functionality to import images and video's. While developing, and testing through Visual Studio this has never given any problems. After installing through a set up project, everything in the application works fine, except the drag and drop, which seems to be doing nothing. Are there any security settings that need to be set through an installer, or something of that nature that could be preventing drag and drop after installation ?

  My project currently contains two largish property lists. One is currently 20KB; another is 8KB. So far, I have been maintaining them with xCode's property list editor. This is manageable but also a bit clunky. I am wondering if other people have better ways of doing this? So far, my lists consist of nested arrays of strings. The depth is not uniform.
