    Hi, I have to download some images from links. This links return me a file where is embedded a multipart mime and a tiff image. I have writed this code but it downloads the file with mime. How I can remove the mime from this file and have the image returned? Can I do this with wget or curl?     Ok so I have a php page with data dynamically outputs depending on a $_GET variable ['file']. I have another page (index.php) which has a jQuery script that uses the load() function to load the php page. I have a list of links and when you click on one, it needs to change the $_GET variable to load, then refresh the load() jQuery variable. Heres a snippet: $("#remote-files").load("data.php?file=wat.txt"); $(".link1").mousedown(function() { $("#remote-files").load("data.php?file=link1.txt"); }); As you can see it loads the data into a div with the ID of remote-files. Is there a better way to do this, like update the page with the new get variable instead of redefining a new load function?

  • 2010 cgi script failure

    Hi. I hope you can help, I'm just a beginner! I have listed a few extra details which may not be relevant. I upload cgi scripts onto local/personal directory on a Apache/2.2.10 server, using FTP95Pro in ASCII. The scripts execute correctly using perl on my web-server in a terminal session. Thus my code has no fatal syntax errors. Webpages 'action' each cgi script at /cgi-bin/. There are symbolic links which link system directory files to my local directory files. FollowSymLinks is enabled (unsure how). Permissions are correct (755). This set-up hasnt changed, apparently. The scripts have excuted perfectly for years, up to 2010. But now, in 2010, I have replaced working scripts with new script/files, now with exactly the same text, filename and permissions. Only the date (last modified) has changed. But now I receive a 500 Internal Server Error, and cannot determine why. My server administator assumes I have code errors. But code is unchanged since last year, and it runs fine (albeit no arguments) on web-server console using perl myscript.cgi Is there anything you can think of which may have changed ? I'm suspicious of the new decade. I think the server swapped from Linux to Windows OS last year, but my server administrator got it all working OK. Is there something unusual he may have missed, related to 2010 ? Thank you in advance

Tried to Google for the answer, but couldn't find any answer regarding this - everyone just said "Google collection should work off the box with GWT".

  • Examining mmaped addresses using GDB

    I'm using the driver I posted at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/647783/direct-memory-access-in-linux/ to mmap some physical ram into a userspace address. However, I can't use GDB to look at any of the address; i.e., x 0x12345678 (where 0x12345678 is the return value of mmap) fails with an error "Cannot access memory at address 0x12345678". Is there any way to tell GDB that this memory can be viewed? Alternatively, is there something different I can do in the mmap (either the call or the implementation of foo_mmap there) that will allow it to access this memory? Note that I'm not asking about /dev/mem (as in the first snippet there) but amount a mmap to memory acquired via ioremap(), virt_to_phys() and remap_pfn_range()

    Hello, I've this brief snippet: String target = baseFolder.toString() + entryName; target = target.substring(0, target.length() - 1); File targetdir = new File(target); if (!targetdir.mkdirs()) { throw new Exception("Errore nell'estrazione del file zip"); } doesn't mattere if I leave the last char (that is usually a slash). It's done this way to work on both unix and windows. The path is actually obtained from the URI of the base folder. As you can see from baseFolder.toString() (baseFolder is of type URI and is correct). The base folder actually exists. I can't debug this because all I get is true or false from mkdir, no other explanations.The weird thing is that baseFolder is created as well with mkdir and in that case it works. Now I'm under windows. the value of target just before the creation of targetdir is "file:/C:/Users/dario/jCommesse/jCommesseDB" if I cut and paste it (without the last entry) in windows explore it works...

    While stumbling through the chromium code documentation, I came across this post: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/UsingGit#Windows If you are using msysgit, you are asking for trouble. Using both msysgit (including TortoiseGit) and cygwin's version of git is a path to lead to repository corruption so it's safer to stick with the cygwin's version. So if you still have msysgit in your PATH, you are on your own. Does this really happen? What causes the corruption?
